Fairmount Cooperative Preschool

Our oldest attended Fairmount Co-op for about 6 months before the pandemic hit. It was such a welcoming and kind place for our medically-complex kid to get her first school experience. Our younger child is about to finish up his second year and he’ll start kindergarten in the fall. We’ve been so happy and felt so at home with the teachers and the entire FCP community.

We've been a Fairmount Coop Preschool family for three years, and it's been such a wonderful experience! The teachers and families work together so well, and everyone is passionate about creating the most supportive and enriching environment possible for our kids. So grateful to have found FCP!

Our daughters are in the 3/4’s and Pre-k classes and we have been so happy with both! Fairmount co-op truly feels like family and is a special place. There is the perfect amount of social emotional learning coupled with academic instruction to meet the children where they are at developmentally. The teachers are extraordinary and genuinely care for each student and family! I wish they offered a kindergarten because we aren’t ready to leave!! But I know my daughter is well prepared! Highly recommend Fairmount Cooperative Preschool!

Fairmount Co-Op is an enriching, supportive, and fun preschool for my daughter. Starting as one of the youngest in her class with little experience being away from familiar care givers, the teachers have really helped her grow and work on her independence outside of our home. The co op structure is helpful in seeing my child interact and learn/play among her peers. The fundraiser activities hosted by the school have also been fun for our whole family. I highly recommend FCP to any families who are interested in being involved with a co op learning experience for their child.

Our twins started in the 3/4s class at FCP this year and we're so happy with the experience so far! They talk about their teachers and friends constantly and bring home adorable and creative projects. The co-op structure gives parents insight into what's happening in class and fosters connections with the other families. It's such a warm and positive environment and we're grateful to be a part of it!

We love Fairmount Co-op. It is so evident that the teachers really care about the students and their social and emotional well being. My son never wants to leave school. To me, that speaks volumes to the kind of atmosphere that’s present at the co-op. I recommend to this school to all my friends!

Our son started in the Young 3s class at FCP this year. We looked into it because it was close to home and we heard great things from other families. At first we were a bit hesitant about coop structure but we quickly appreciated the more in depth involvement we have and the community culture it creates. Most importantly, Junior is excited about going to school each day, and his teachers cultivate a safe & fun learning environment for all.

This school has been such a wonderful place for our child. We love being involved and it makes the community feel like family. The teachers and staff are amazing. They plan so many fun activities for the kids and our son truly looks forward to going every day. I only wish we could keep him there for longer!! Definitely would recommend :)

Both of my children attended FCP. Our whole family loves this school! The teachers are lovely, the classes enriching, and the coop structure really helps to build a sense of community. As a parent, it’s wonderful to get the chance to be in the classroom to get to know the teachers and students. I highly recommend FCP!

Fairmount Co-op is an incredible pre-school for children to learn and play, and learn through play. The teachers are some of the most amazing people I've ever met - they are so patient, caring, and experienced. The community of parents is a joy, and the physical space for the kids is well-maintained. Would recommend, 10/10.

FCP has been a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for my son to grow and learn. The teachers are caring, the families are welcoming, and I love how involved we get to be in the coop structure. I can’t wait to send my daughter there when the time comes!

Our almost-3-year-old daughter is mostly around adults at home, so it's a great gift for her to make friends her own age in such a welcoming environment. She is eager to go to school every day and enjoys imagining which friends, by name, she will be playing with on the playground.

I have sent all 4 of my children to FCP. It has been nothing but a wonderful experience for my family. The teachers are so creative, passionate, and caring. FCP has been amazing to our 2.5 years old. She just cannot wait to go to school in the morning and would go everyday if she could. The teachers are sweet, professional and really friendly. I really recommend the place.

The learn-though-play approach has been perfect for him, as he is learning about the world, while also developing a love of learning.

All three of my children attended this preschool and it was so wonderful. My kids loved it and were ready for kindergarten when the time came. Most importantly my kids and I both made meaningful friendships that will last a lifetime.
