I felt that Dr Stanforth really cared about me as a patient. I went to the ER for some issues and they called me the next day to discuss what happened. My last doctor wouldn't even see me. They also offer convenient appointments for me before work. Very satisfied.

Very nice front office people, organized and friendly. Dr. Stanforth was very thorough, caring and knowledgeable. Was able to answer all questions and will definitely become our family doctor.

Yesterday was my first time meeting with Dr. Stanforth and I did not have a good experience. There was a confusion with my prescription and she was very rude in resolving the issue. She made me feel like a burden and even mocked me as if I was an idiot. To add, she didn't even say goodbye. Instead she was notified that someone was on the phone and simply got up and left the room without saying a word. She did do one good thing for me though- she gave me the idea to find a different doctor closer to my home.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a doctors office. The doctor is cold and disinterested and, after 2 years of being her patient, has NEVER touched me or examined me in any way. She refuses to give me more than 2 months supply of medication I have been on for 5 years thereby forcing me to return for another $167 out of pocket charge before I have finished paying off the previous charges. She will not provide me with any other services during a prescription refill appointment, again forcing me to schedule yet again another $167 appointment. The bookkeeper, Dawn, makes repeated mathematical errors managing the account and the office manager Kim will tell you she has made referrals she never made and then give you an attitude when you follow up. They all blame the insurance company for their own incompetence. RUN don't walk and request another doctor if your insurance co. assigns her to you! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!

Horrible! Shelley Stanforth’ policies make her appear to be more concerned with making $$ than treating the patient. She requires that you HAVE to visit her multiple times in a year in order to get medication refilled. I was told that in order for her to refill a medication I’ve been using for more than 30 years I had to schedule a prescription appt., even though I had a physical coming up in 2 months. What?! First I was told it was because the physical is limited in time and there won’t be time to discuss this medication, 2nd that they want to make sure that the medication is not adversely affecting me, which I questioned because in all my years taking it, not one doctor said there was a concern for this. I guess in 30 years I saw alot of bad, unconcerned doctors. Then it was because they have been forced to do so by the insurance companies and all the doctors are now requiring this same practice. Um no, I called and scheduled an appointment to get established elsewhere and asked about this and was told that the only reason this would occur is if the patient skips their physicals. Something that I never do. My advice is to stay away, you’ll be thankful you did.

Dr Shelley Stanforth and her husband are 2 of the worst doctors in the Midwest. They don’t care about their patients in the slightest. They released me as a patient when I need medical care the most. They were scared of being sued. They should be because there blatant malpractice and unethical behaviors need stopped.

It's a shame that the medical field has become a business and not what it was designed to do, help people...this dr and others are turning away people just because of their health care....I'm taking names and going to do everything in and beyond my power to take away these drs licences and practice. I wish them the same luck in finder help as I have been having.
