I walked in with a lot of worry about my health. The doctor was able to determine my condition very quickly and walked me through how he arrived at his diagnosis very clearly. All of my questions were answered in full. The assistants were also incredibly nice and personable, I didn’t feel like just another patient. I walked out of the office feeling great and having a plan to get the right care for my unique vision problems. Very happy to have been a patient of Dr. Hater’s!

Was not feeling good about having someone work on my eye 😕 but after meeting with Dr. Hater I feel much better. He can put you at ease. I feel like the surgery will go great.

Dr.Hater is always attentive to my needs and he changed my progressive lenses prescription as I expected. He also said that I could treat my dry eyes with artificial tears as needed. I don’t have symptoms very often, but when I do that helps. I made another appointment for next year, which was very convenient. The only downside was that I had to wait 30 minutes before a technician saw me.

Dr Hater does a great job! Always thorough, professional and takes time to answer questions. Good at explaining how new medications to the market work and helps to get you set up with new prescriptions. Some of this he could perhaps push off to an admin assistant but he is truly involved to assure the patient is informed and all questions answered. Great job Dr Hater!

I’ve only been in for the consultation and setting up my appointments for cataract surgery. Dr. Hater and his team are personable, caring, answered all my questions, we’re all very polite, and very respectful and professional. I feel confident that everything will go very well.

FOLLOW UP…I’ve had cataract surgery on both eyes and it was an easy breezy experience from start to finish. It’s wonderful to be able to see better! Dr.Hater was great! Dr Hater is a skilled eye doctor who will take the time necessary to explain all details and options with any patient. He cares about the patient and your satisfaction with the results.

Follow -up on. eye surgery. Explanation and progress explained by doctor in ways that I could understand. All staff were great.

Doctor Hater is excellent. He provided a detailed explanation of cataract surgery using physical models. He also went over the various complications that could occur but they did not happen for me. He stopped in pre-surgery and I saw him again the afternoon of the surgery for follow up. Everything was fine after my one month follow up with Dr Hater.

I am glad I listened to his recommendation to get farsighted lenses for both eyes because I was considering monovision so I would not have to wear glasses at all. But if I was unhappy with permanent monovision because I had never had it before, I would have to live with it. Dr Hater recommended getting a single contact reading lens for my weaker eye to give me monovision and if I didn't like it just go back to wearing reading glasses - a great idea. He recommended optometrists who could provide that service. I am looking into doing this.

The efficiency and professionalism of the doctors and staff of CEI is top notch. I highly recommend Dr Hater and the CEI.

I started to see Doctor Hater since 2016 and I am so happy I got to see him because he is the best eye doctor ever. Also the staff are all great, I so happy I found them. I do recommend them you won’t regret it.

I went for my annual cataract checkup and continue to be impressed by the thorough diagnostic tests conducted by Dr. Hater's technicians for his review before meeting me. He gives plain explanations of test results, always encouraging questions be asked if necessary. He reports the findings to my retina specialist and optometrist. I highly recommend this professional and his staff to anybody needing a cataract specialist.
