McMaken's IGA Brookville

Not sure what people need to know in a review of a grocery store. The building is big and has lots of aisles of food. The aisles were well stocked. The place was clean and the fresh food options looked appetizing.

Very clean store, parking is always available by the door, excellent selection, always fresh foods, prices are great, items are easy to find in the store, all check out lanes are always open with at least two employees at each lane, you will never have to check yourself out or bag your groceries, store is not too big or too small, very friendly employees who will be glad to take your purchases to your car for you. You just couldn't ask for more!!

Excellent grocery. Small town grocery but well stocked and very clean and organized.
Very convenient. You needs the bg box stores. Shop local. You can't go wrong.

Nice store. People are friendly. Shelves are stocked. Prices are a bit high, but where aren't they? Overall, a great place.

Small town appeal with an excellent selection and decent prices. Don't feel like going too far out of the area for something quick, or for an addition to dinner or lunch? Their deli has a great selection.of side dishes, meats, and deserts. For those who consider alcoholic beverages a part of life, they have a good selection and moderate prices. The staff you will find friendly and helpful. Also, there's a laundromat attached to the inside of the store for convenience.

Go to their Deli. Ask for a pound of Chili Con Queso. Get a bag of wavy lays and or pretzel chips. This is -the- best dip you'll ever have. The place is always nice, it's a small town grocery with a bunch of friendly people. I wish that the dip was mass produced and sold in stores everywhere :/

Prices might be higher than the big box grocery stores. But the people at this IGA are polite and friendly. Good luck in finding much of that at Kroger these days.

I'm willing to pay extra for the convenience of a grocery store being right down the street.

Service is good, usually quick checkout lines. Good deli selection, quality meats and produce. Good store for everyday needs.

Nice little store with a surprisingly large interior. Had plenty of the stuff we went in there for. Good prices on many items and a lot of people on the floor and at the registers. Did not have to wait long to check out, and there were not the long lines up the aisle that you see in many of the big chain stores. Really enjoyed our shopping trip.

Great grocery store. Yes, it's pricey compared to big box competitors but I like supporting my community as much as possible when possible. They have delicious hot meals available in their deli that I recommend to everyone. Again, when you support your local businesses. You help individuals that provide commerce and employment to your community. I like how more personable these types of businesses are toward their shoppers as opposed to dealing with big box store employees that don't really care about your personal experience in those facilities. Small town charm wins me over every time.

I love love love their cakes! I get at least 2 a year for my kids birthdays. The cake is great, the wonder whip icing is heavenly, and the decorations always look great! Another success!

This is the coolest place. Lots of choices. And not huge like other stores so walking through it is not exhausting. Love the deli. I felt like I was in Europe again! My friends all know about this place so I am sharing with new residents to the area like me. 😁

Love to shop there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Never act like I am bothering them if I ask for help. Deli workers are great. Salads are always fresh. I make special trip just for sandwich spread.

Clean, friendly store. The Bakery is wonderful. I use them for business events frequently. They are quick and deliver high quality products. I asked them to make colorful cupcakes for a work event and they went above and beyond. 5 stars!

I wouldn't go here for my weekly grocery shopping because it can be pretty pricey, but it's a great place to get select items out of convenience. But, they do have some pretty good sales and their pick 5 for $20 is a good deal. Plus, they do sell products that other grocery stores do not.
