Christmas Ranch

A quick google search for Christmas lights in the area (because this was an out of town excursion for me), and this came up, and for my train loving kids, was the perfect spot for us to explore!

We didn’t explore everything because it was an unusually cold night, but for $35, the hour we spent there quickly flew by, and it was great price for a family of 4. There are TONS of small buildings that look to be little Christmas shops, that’s also covered inside and out with Christmas decor.

Our favorite was the reindeer room, because of the trains! Although it would have been nice to be able to see everything a little more up close, it’s a new concept in there, so we understood the owner was working on it and perfecting it for later.

I still give it 5 stars because it was fun, although we did expect for there to be a little more activities than there were. The walk through light maze was super short, and each building was literally a shop, which isn’t super kid friendly. But based on what one of the employees told us, it seems like this property just gets better and better each year, so I would love to make the drive down to Columbus during Christmas time again and visit the Christmas ranch again!

Neat place to check out some Christmas lights. Loved the atmosphere!

So a few things about this place. 1. There is a comment in here that says they are closing. We asked, no they aren't. There is one in Texas that is closing. 2. Yes there were some lights out as stated in the comments. But out of the TONS of lights they had our main focus wasn't on the few that were out. If anything it gave us a chuckle trying to pronounce it the way it was lit.. 3. This was our first time going and won't be our last! We had the most memorable Christmas I think we have ever had!! The wait time for the trains were a bit long BUT we have patience! So we thoroughly enjoyed it anyways! The ONLY thing I would change about this place is maybe implementing a better bakery.. where you can get a slice of fresh pie with your coffee or hot cocoa 🤗

Great place to get into the Christmas Spirit. Had a 5:30 time slot and it was perfect! No traffic and not crowded. The Bonfire was great to sit around to warm up and drink cider. For $20 to get in well worth it! Beautiful Place!

Almost didn’t come here because of the few negative reviews. It was awesome and definitely worth going for me. Laid back and chill vibe. Affordable pricing for train ride and food. It was nice to sit by the fire and watch all the lights. I definitely recommend coming!!!

A little muddy after the rain but the entire family had a great time! We rode the train, bought hot chocolate, got a picture with Santa, & enjoyed the beautiful lights. Kiddos, Parents, & G-ma all had a great time!! 😊🎄🎅💕

Fun Christmas village to visit. This is supposed to be the last year it's open as well. Too bad.

COVID-friendly atmosphere and very festive! Tons of beautiful lights and Christmas themed things around. My whole family loved it. You can order hot chocolate and a chocolate chip cookie when you buy your tickets so that when you first get there for the drive-through light show you can be enjoying your goodies. Then you can either drive right out and leave or park your car to go see Santa (who's wearing a mask) and get a pic with him, get some food, check out the cute little Christmas shops or walk through some more light paths. We got hot dogs and burgers and delicious fries from the food truck and ate them at a picnic table next to a huge bonfire. When I went everyone else was wearing a mask also even outside and there was a lady who went around to sanitize all the door handles and various surfaces frequently.

We went last night to celebrate my son's birthday and had a great time! No line for anything (we went right when they opened at 5. Santa was fantastic! The train ride was fun-my 2 and 4 year old loved it. The fire was huge, and the lights were perfect!

This place is just magical! It is so beautiful and I love that they link the music to the lights! We have been going for years and it gets busier and busier! We went during the week this year and it wasn't too overwhelmed! We get an ornament every year and enjoy every ornament house they offer! We can't wait to see what they add next year!

Love this place. Have been visiting for years now (0ver 10 years). Great experience. Shops, fire pit, rides, and light displays are great. The light light displays have been agung iver the years and could use some maintenance and upgrade, but over great place.

The kids really enjoyed it. The fire and the funnel cakes were excellent. Worth the drive!

It took us an hour to get there, there was a line to get in but it moved very quickly. The staff were so friendly. Definitely worth the drive and time. I would recommend this the everyone of every age. It was very beautiful and very romantic. My husband and I loved it so much. If we could give a 💯 stars we would.

Great Christmas light display that you drive thru and then have the option to walk around in. Despite timed entry times for tickets, there is still a pretty long wait to get in. Make sure you have gas and plenty of time! It's still worth it, though. We will definitely be back!

My family and I have been going to the Christmas Ranch for the past six years. We absolutely love the village, shops, fudge, and getting to meet Santa. The lights are amazing.

What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit for young and old. This place should be an annual holiday tradition. The lights are magnificent, the bonfire is wonderful. Easy to get around.

I swear they have over a billion lights! All the employees was very nice and polite the food was quick when we ordered it! The train ride takes a long time if your waiting in line I think manly just because your freezing lol but over all we had a amazing time! Santa was the best with the kids as well! Worth the hour drive 100%

This place is a gem of a find. There were 4 to 5 stores and acres and acres of lights and music. The bonfire was Huge and they kept it blazing. Would definitely recommend this if your going to Morrow, Ohio near Cincinnati.
