This is a very interesting place with lots of history. It is beautifully maintained, one of the coolest outdoor patios that I have ever seen. Excellent bar, food and dinners, great cocktails. Friendly attentive staff. If you’re in the area of Mercer Island, this has to be on your bucket list. GO!!

My wife and I stopped by and we were thoroughly impressed with every aspect. This establishment offers an extensive menu of delicious food, making it a fantastic place to stop. The consistent bustling activity speaks to the undeniable appeal of this place. The service is always excellent which is why we keep coming back.

Husband and I stopped in for a bite to eat on a Sunday evening. There was plenty of seating, it was cozy and warm inside, and the music was great. The Roanoke has a very nice atmosphere.

Ollie made wonderful drinks and was very attentive to us despite being busy at the bar. This was our first time visiting the Roanoke, and I already can't wait to go back!

The food was good, but the prices were a bit high, which was the only drawback for me.

I hesitate to post this glowing review because the Roanoke Inn is a hidden gem.
However, the food, adult beverages, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch.
There is plenty of seating inside and outside.
It’s a solid & tasty menu.
The servers are fun and personable.
Propane heaters keep you warm when seated outside…along with a couple of shots of whiskey.
There are plenty of TVs with sports both inside and outside.
The structure itself is now 110 years old!
The only downside is when it is packed inside and the beers are flowing it gets very loud. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the person seated across from you. That’s just part of the fun atmosphere.

Love this homey, neighborhood bar and grill. Plenty of parking in back and great friendly service. All the famous hits like nachos, French dip, sandwiches etc. and a nice variety of taps.

Despite this place being full, so much so that we had to sit outside, the 2 serving staff (yes, only 2 - and I bet there weren't enough in the kitchen either) did as good a job as they possibly could.
The food was delicious too.
One thing I didn't like was the prices!

Wonderful, quirky, out of the way pub built in 1914 - you have to know it's there, otherwise you'd never see it. We stopped on our bikes mid-route on our way back to Seattle via the I-90 bridge and the staff were happy to accommodate us on the front porch (even though it was 40 degrees). We'll be back for dinner (and without the sweaty bike clothes.) Note: 21 and over only.

Our team loves coming here for Morale events and it has become an annual occasion. The food is great, service is quick and attentive. It gets really hot outside even with the umbrellas on the patio, but they do have an inside area that's not so hot and with fans. Great experiences here!

Nice throwback bar. A plate of fries was the only thing I had, but they were tasty.

Went for happy hour with coworkers. We sat outside and loved the shrubbery dividers between tables. Cobb salad was great. Coworker loved the steak sandwich. De nks were excellent.

Great Irish Pub - only problem, we ate the fries too fast ... especially when enjoying a Guinness
