Miku Sushi Restaurant

Authentic Japanese sushi, fresh fish, rice was cooked to perfection and the service was amazing. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, go figure here in Barrington and they have been in business approximately 11 years!

Seemed like i got there after the lunch rush, and there were a couple of tables that looked dirty. My order was sitting in the middle on one of the tables. That seemed a bit odd.

There also didn't seem to be a hostess stand. The entrance was a bit cramped, and i guess they were maximizing the seating.

At any rate, the sushi was delicious. I enjoyed the spicy crab, seared tuna and mango, and california rolls, as well as the gyoza. If i had only one complaint, I wish there was slightly more rice, and one of the rolls was coming loose.

Found this place as highly rated here on Google and decided to give it a try. I was especially intrigued by their omakase menu with the seafood air shipped in from Tsukiji market in Tokyo. While it's not the omakase experience of one course at a time while communicating with the chef, it's a fantastic offering of the chef's picks. I found it to be a wonderful selection with great variety and gorgeous plating. Service was friendly and the drinks were great (try the white peach sake!) Took a menu home with us as we plan to order takeout, but we will definitely be back for dinner again.

This is with no comparison, the best dining experience I have ever had in my 17 years on this earth. The moment I walk into the restaurant, I am instantly bombarded with the vibes and love of this restaurant. The art of the building can only be compared to the beauty of the Eiffel Tower and the Palace of Versailles. The dining experience can only be compared to the feeling of Nirvana, and the waitress Mirabel may have been the most wonderful person I have ever met, even rivaling the Queen herself. If you don’t come to this haven, you are missing the best thing a human can experience.

I ordered takeout twice in the past week and it was absolutely delicious!! The sushi is so fresh and flavorful, I was very impressed with everything I ordered. Thank you!!!

My server Mirabel was very fun and sweet. I also always really enjoy the top quality fish and you have to get the edamame. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable.

Great customer service first and foremost!! The waitress and hostess were both very helpful and friendly to me and my group of friends, immediately offering help with understanding the menu when it looked like we needed it.

The food was cheap and yet quick and delicious (me and my friends ended up spending below $20) and I’m definitely looking forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.

The Decor and people were all very welcoming. The changing lights under the bar were a nice touch that i personally found to be a pretty cool and unique touch. There was no issues with other customers. It seems to draw in a diverse and respectful audience that don’t make a ruckus and allow you to have good conversations with others across from you, even when busy.

Generally I’d say it was a fantastic experience and I’d love to come in another time, and hopefully I’ll get to try more than just the miso soup.

Amazing omakase experience for the price. Very impressed with the quality of sushi flown from Tsukiji market in Tokyo.

Very relaxing feel along with amazing service. While sitting down you can see the amount of takeout they get and how efficient they are with the amount of orders. Whenever I do get take out it was always the same as sitting in the restaurant, AMAZING FOOD.

Miku is such a slay I love the silly little tofu skin and avocado sushi. My server Mira was so helpful and kind and amazing. The restaurant is so pretty as well!

Amazing food, amazing staff, I especially recommend the shrimp tempura roll!!! Amazing service, the waitress was a sweetheart, everyone should come and eat here!!

Had Crispy Duck Roll, Chicken Katsu and Tempura - all excellent. Will definitely be coming back and trying other dishes.

It's always been worth the 25 minute drive! Great sashimi along with great prices and service. An added plus that my meals are always pretty as well whether I decide to get takeout or dinner in!

First time eating a roll and it was very good. The peanut avocado roll and the vegetarian Yaki Udon were absolutley delicious!

Had never heard of this place. Found it on Google after the Sushi restaurant we were heading to turned out to be closed for the night. What a fantastic find. Best sushi I've ever had. Staff was fantastic and the food was prepared quickly. I guess they just reopened their dining room from after being closed for the pandemic. Great joint! Will be returning ASAP!

Their lunch specials are popular among my colleagues. The sushi was authentic and the lunch came with a reasonable price with good quality and amount of food. I will come back for another lunch menu in the near future.

Amazeballs. Exceptional sushi. Prices are more than reasonable for Barrington. Couldn’t give this place enough praise. Drinks are also fantastic - try the scorpion bowl… wowzers!

We went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and were happy that we found this place. The vegetarian/ vegan sushi options were delicious and filling. We sampled three options and all were on point. The prices are reasonable. Our bill was 22 dollars for two people. The service was fast and efficient. Parking and accessibility were easy. Would recommend.

This restaurant has a good variety of meal options to choose from not just sushi. The service is excellent! (Very nice waiters that were not hounding, but prompt to assist with needs)
I was amazed with how much food each individual in our party had on their plate(a lot).As well,the plating was a nice presentation.

The food was excellent. FLAVORFUL and FRESH. Our food choices were Sushi, Shrimp, Steak and Miso Salmon. The veg were cooked to perfection nice clean bites crisp not soggy.

I highly reccommend this spot as it didn't disappoint 2 children and 3 adults. We all loved it!
