Shaw's

This location is always exceptionally clean and has a nice variety of choices. The produce is fresh and the seafood counter is well stocked with choices and ready to bake delicious dinners! It's always a perfect last minute stop off to grab a wonderful easy dinner rather than another night of the same old take out.

Far and away the best grocery store in the east bay. Clean and well stocked is more than you can say for any stop n shop.

Always good!! I work there, but it's where I've shopped since moving here 9+ years ago. Nice & clean. Great, helpful staff. Good prices, especially the meats & seafood.

I just have to give a shout out to Shaws for their rewards program. I mean I like to shop here, the produce is generally good, the deli is very good, they generally carry the items I buy. If you use your rewards for gas savings it’s amazing. I have a diesel car and diesel gas is even higher right now. I just saved $23 on a tank of diesel ($1 a gallon or 10 rewards- $.10/gal is the max you can get at a number of Mobil stations) Check out the rewards in the app. Nothing Shaws offers is as good as the gas rewards.

Very friendly I enjoyed it

Shaw's in Barrington has many plus compared to other Shaw's. The young are fairly trained. I asked the young fish monger if knew the real scientific name of Lobster. He had no idea @ $52.00lbs. I realize were in the middle of s pandemic. But our young cashier didn't know price on sale plant was $9.99 OR STICKER PRICE $24.99. He was very polite and told me the only way he know the price is when he would ring
it up. Wrong answer. Make a call to customer sevice. When I requested the bags be kept light in weight. More than accommadating. These may seem silly. But @ 69 yrs old I would have had walk to the front of the store p/u the plant and to I go through the check out again. A sign should have been out there. Second do no put the young to work and not educate them. Managers should make sure the staff know what is in the weekly flyer. before stepping on the store floor. Take. Some pride and educate the young properly. This is our future. We consistently think the young are lazy. Management do your job. Help the young know how to get ahead. This is an affluent town. No excuses Wake up. Your taking advantage of the young as well as the elderly. I could mention 20 other things. Please feel free to call me.

I'll give them 5 stars but if a Dave's Market ever opens within a convenient driving distance, I'll have to back this down to 3 stars. I don't think they can compete with Dave's meats or prepared foods...

The best managed grocery store in RI. Clean..safe..glorious vegetables fruit..but the best meat and seafood department. Wonderful every time we go.

I shop at Shaw’s in Barrington a couple Of Times per week. This past friday, after a long work day, I had a large order , about 10 bags of groceries . The bagger Steven, was exceptionally conscientious about his placement of items, and being sure I saw where fragile items were placed, and that I understood what he was saying. When I joked with the cashier about how Steven “knows me” and that I have had bad luck with grocery bags, he finished. He seemed to decide the last two bags were too heavy to pack on top of the others and insisted on carrying them to my car. Of course I had parked in “Goofy” and apologized the whole walk to my car. When we got to my car, he again insisted on carefully packing the rear of my suv, that had other stuff from work taking much of the space available. When I tried to assist - he insisted he do it. When he completed giving me this VIP treatment he shook my hand, refused cash, and marched with purpose back into the store. Thanks to Steven, I felt blessed to be the recipient of such thoughtfulness and genuine pride in one’s work. Thank you Steven for not only being a superstar in your Creator’s eyes, but for making me feel so blessed to have been touched by your selfless gestures. You went above and beyond, and I am truly grateful!

Love this market! Not only because it's the only market closest to home but I can walk there on 5 minutes or less. Mostly everyone is nice & Great customer service!

Every week deep sale items. Big parking and good variety. Cheap prices. So visit if u want to save money than other places

I'm from Michigan. But been here in Berrington Rhode Island for bout 4 months. I love Shaw's. Their produce and meat is always fresh.

Fruits so fresh almost couldn't wait to eat a piece staff and cashiers so pleasant Beautifully stocked.

I like this Shaws because it has the cell phone kiosk where you can sell your cell phones for extra cash. It's the only one around for twenty or thirty miles.
