U-Haul Moving & Storage of Bountiful

Moving sucks- and whoever enjoys moving can move me at any time they like to. I had the worse moving experience of my life last week and if it wasn't for Gabbie and Dixi, I wouldn't have a single positive memory from the move. It all started when my vehicle didn't have the correct lighting installation, then I went to a shop on a Sunday to get the lighting installed- ONLY to have the auto shop mess the electrical up even more and they took 3 hrs longer to do the install.

Dixi and Gabbie were phenomenal during this entire experience; not only did they try to come up with solutions when my light hookup was bad, BUT they even stayed a little past working hours to help me check out my trailer so I could start my move across the country! They saved me an entire day by being willing to stay an extra 30 mins for me. They were so phenomenal that I hope U-Haul sends all trainees to them so new employees can learn what it is to have impeccable customer service

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I have always been able to rent a trailer for all of my towing needs, including a flat bed car trailer. I frequent this location regularly.

I needed a tow package installed on my vehicle to put my Yakima bike rack on. Much cheaper than other places and it only took them about 90 minutes. Staff was professional and Jeffrey went out of his way to make sure that I knew how to access the hitch and put my bike rack on. Highly recommend for this service!

Dixie and Cayden were super helpful and accommodating! We had to get a tow for my car super last minute and we came in 10 minutes before close. They were so nice and everything went so smoothly! The store was pretty busy while we were there right at close and you can tell they work really hard. I’m so thankful for their patience!

These guys were VERY helpful. Answered all our questions, deal with our lack of wxperience with trailers, and were very patient with us. HIGHLY recommended.

I had some issues with my tow hitch that was installed at a different location. I found the Bountiful location super helpful

Dixie was incredible. I was blown away by her customer service. Kindest, most generous person. Who knew I would walk away from a Uhaul smiling because of the workers? Truck worked perfect and was in great condition. Loved the storage unit I had there as well.

Not much to say. We gave them the truck's key, they asked for our name, and told us that we were fine to go. Very different than we used to do it in Florida. It was faster than we expected.

Staff went the extra mile to help. Had a great experience, will return again.

Consistent service and low prices. Predictable and reliable. Just what you want when moving things about and you need less stress in your life.

Great service. Booked online rental for same day and was able to pick up within the hour, everything was explained by Jen and I was on my way. She was very helpful and professional. Great store, everyone was awesome, it was all quick and easy. This is my second time using them within the year and both times I had the same type of experience.

Occasionally rent trailers for moving personal items or helping others. This location is terrific. Helpful, knowledgeable staff who answer phones.

Great store for packing and hauling needs. Things were a big frantic and excited when I was there because of a stolen rental truck. It was loud and frenetic while they looked at surveillance video and called police. But I got what I came for. They have always been good to work with at this location.

OMG.. Thank you Nate and Brandon!! You guys are the real deal. I was having the worst week ever and these guys pulled through. I can't thank you enough and I'm indebted to both of you. You guys represent U-Haul so professionally and simply put .. you were so kind to me in the middle of such a bad week for me. Customer service was excellent. Check in/out was easy and pleasant. Equipment was clean.

CALL THE LOCATION DIRECTLY to book! Tried to book a 5 day (M-F) rental online and received a call back from a rude woman named Kristy that told me they don't have any 26' trucks available even for two days. She acted like it was ridiculous I would even want a truck for that long. Went to the Bountiful location to pickup the truck for 1 day because thats all I was told they had, and they have 5 trucks sitting in their lot and the manager at the location said they aren't reserved for the days I needed and I could have easily had one for 5 days. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, just book directly with the location and save yourself a headache! The employees on site are great to work with and very friendly. Will be returning.

Jen was awesome! I wanted to rent an appliance dolly contactless due to the pandemic and me being high-risk. She went above and beyond to accommodate me and the transaction went smoothly. I was able to drive up, pick up the dolly, and drive away without any issues and with social distancing intact. This place is managed by some incredible people!

Staff was very helpful and kind when I had issues with my rental. I rented a tow dolly and found out I couldn't use it. When I brought it back 30 min later the staff refunded my rental without me even asking. Great customer service, would definitely return. Thanks!!!!!

I'm leaving this review because I've witnessed some truly irate customers attempt to use the employees here as punching bags.

Yes, moving is stressful, yes people make mistakes, but I've rented trucks, bought boxes, had a hitch installed, just about every service they offer and have always had great experiences - even when things have gone south.

I'd have zero hesitation recommending this location for any moving needs you have.
