Dave's Northside Service

My car has been here a few times for normal maintenance and upkeep. Recently had to have my headlight bulbs replaced and was given exemplary service throughout the process. They even checked a few other minor issues I was concerned about and fixed one as simple as some sandpaper to a gas cap. No more check engine light (that simple a fix). My car is a 2010 Malibu with only 120k miles. Definately will bring it back for any issues I run into in the future.

We had car problems while on vacation and they went out of their way to help us out. All of the employees were exceptionally kind and honest. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and affordable.

I am from out of state and came in with a mechanical emergency of which they immediately assessed, fixed/repaired for me and got me back on the road within the hour. The receptionist and mechanics were all very friendly, and helpful and I appreciated their help so much. For how immediate their service was between parts & labor, this was also very cost efficient so I was happy for that as well. I would recommend their service to anyone. We've been bringing our cars here for years! Great service and never try to find things wrong with the car just to make extra money doing the repairs. Fair prices and great work!! Courtney and Jeremy took over from Courtney's dad, Terry, and the service is just as great as it was before.

I was traveling on Interstate and the Low Coolant warning came on. I got off the interstate and there was coolant leaking and I couldn't tell where it was coming from. My first thought was water pump, its a 2001 Silverado with a lot of miles on it. I called a few shops and they were all booked, some into next week.
When I called Dave's North Side Britany said bring it in. Jeremy looked at it right away and found the lower hose had a bad clamp. He filled up radiator and i was on my way in 30 minutes. I have not had that quality of service even from my regular shop. They are so nice and professional. Thanks again!

Brought my Silverado in because it kept going into low power mode. Jeremy looked everything over in detail from the fuses to wiring for any frays or cuts. Also cleaned the map sensor and throttle body as that could of been part of the issue. Great attention to detail and recommend for others!!

I was driving down 29 when my car seized up and I pulled over. These guys got me in their garage in less than an hour and now I’m back on the road. They are quick, courteous and well priced! Plus there is a bar next door if you want a beer.

Terry is a great mechanic and takes care of his customers! If you want honest and reasonable vehicle repair ... I highly recommend going here! All of the mechanics are awesome!

Took our car to Dave’s after the check engine light started blinking and was driving very rough. We didn’t have an appointment, but we were told they’d try to look at it and diagnose the problem. Within a few hours, the car was fixed. A mouse had built a nest and damaged some of the wiring. They charged us for only a couple hours of labor — no parts. I’ll be back to Dave’s if I ever need more work done.
