I’ve gotten the xtra hot and the hot chicken sandwich and they’ve been really great each time. The spices are mixed very well to give you a great flavor, while also testing your limits with the heat (the xtra hot really pushed my limit 😅). The sandwich’s meat layer sits atop a bed of coleslaw that gives you a generous amount of moisture to balance out the very crispy outer layer of the chicken.
The hot fries have the same or similar spice mix to the fried chicken but delivered on crisp, perfectly cooked fries. The comeback sauce is a great way to beat back the heat a little on the fries and on the sandwich without diluting any flavor.

OH MY YUMMY!! I am not the biggest fan of spicy food but this was SO delicious and exciting. I ordered pickup through their site, which was quick and easy. I got a mild small chicken sandwich and it was SO yummy—perfectly spicy with a touch of sweetness, the crunch was just right and the bread and extras brought it all together. Fries were also delish. Will definitely be going back very soon!

I visited Yummy Meats & Deli on a Saturday afternoon after the normal lunch time after having placed my order online. The restaurant is located in the older part of Renton that is having some upgrades done to the area and roads nearby. I could see the local area being nicely revived as it has a nice array of shops. Anyway, the first thing I took away was that the large parking lot they have. It's a nice to have so I didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot. I arrived probably 30 minutes after the food was done, but the "small" chicken sandwiches I had were still really crispy. The chicken sandwiches consist of normal burger buns around some of the largest, crispiest chicken tenders in the area and a nice coleslaw on top. I can't say enough good things about the chicken. It stayed crunchy and crispy and the spice mix was novel enough to really excite the palate. I remember reading the owners put Szechuan peppercorns in the breading and it adds a nice twist to typical Western fried chicken. The sandwiches were so good I returned two hours later to pick up more sandwiches. I also appreciated that the young gentleman taking orders remembered me. He had excellent customer service and talked to customers with great demeanor. I can't say enough good things about Yummy Meats and I will need to find more reasons to go to Renton.

Currently this is literally a hole in the wall as they do not have indoor seating at all. Luckily they do have a large parking lot. Yummy Meats & Deli has some of the best fried chicken I have had. The batter is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken sandwiches don't mess around. The bun covers half of the chicken breast. I love spice and the medium heat was perfect for me. I can't wait to come back here!

Sandwiches are huge, well with the price. Spice is perfect, and the chili is really tasty.

Would recommend if you're craving a fried chicken sandwich with kick!

Best chicken ever!! I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was amazing, the levels and depth of flavor to it was so great, the chicken was crispy on the outside and super juicy inside.
Their mac and cheese was also great, super creamy and thick sauce. Loved it all and will definitely be back again and again!

High quality chicken sandwich. Their portions are HUGE, get the small sandwich, I had more than half left over when I got the large one, and i usually eat a ton. Tried their spicy sandwich, it was true to it's name and had me hiccuping by the second bite. Had the hot one this time, much more manageable. Highly recommend this place, it's much better than Popeyes or Chick-fil-A.

Oh my goodness, I've lived 5 minutes from Yummy Meats for about 4 months now. I've been wanting to go, and it FINALLY HAPPENED. The giant chicken sandwich was amazing. My boyfriend had the spicy version at the highest heat level and he also loved it. I can't wait to go back again.

This place is an AMAZING local yummy gem! The food is so good and the size of the chicken sandwiches will blow your mind! We love coming here and will continue to do so!

Delicious chicken! We got the hot chicken sandwich and were shocked by the portion sizes. For just under $13 for the sandwich you get so much food, I've turned this sandwich into lunch, a snack and my dinner. Will definitley be back again

Biggest and tastiest chicken sandwich that I have ever had! The flavor was amazing, but be warned: the hot is sizzling spicy! I got a medium spice and it was still hot, but deliciously so...5 stars!!!

The food is really, really good. It's the perfect fusion of Szechuan and Nashville cuisines. Also, the fried chicken sandwiches are stupidly large! It's amazing! That's an iPhone SE for reference.

The fried chicken was huge and had a ton of flavor. It’s not your regular tasting fried chicken but it had a unique flavor. I would come back again for sure.

Well if you only care about a delicious, cheap, spicy 🔥 chicken sandwich this is the place for you. Sandwich comes with a huge chicken patty 😋, pickled onions. You will be amazed honestly. Highly recommended 😊

Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The top level spicy one is no joke. You may be able to eat it, but be warned that it can be worse on the way out. Fun novelty to try but not for the faint of heart. The mild and medium sandwiches are awesome and have great seasoning. Highly recommended!

Had to try this place when I saw the pictures on their Instagram page. The fried chicken was amazing! There are 5 different levels of spiciness for their chicken. I handle spiciness okay and the level 3 was a nice kick for my tongue. The house sauce is a must try for an extra 50¢. They gave me 10% off for giving them a follow on instagram which was a nice bonus. No seating at location, but plenty of nearby parks with benches to sit at. I will be coming back

Delicious Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and fried chicken sandwiches. The Chinese cumin noodles are great tool!

Got the chicken sandwich and it was soo good! Crispy, juicy, spiced chicken. I wasn't sure what to expect with spice, so I went with the default medium. Next time I'll get hot! Perfect size to share (although I wanted to eat the whole thing myself). Ordering for pickup was easy and the service was friendly. Will definitely be back!!

Yummy indeed! In fact that may be an understatement. Perfectly fried and some magical combination of herbs and spices made it one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Also people are NOT kidding about the size... The chicken is at least twice the size of the bun. I think next time we will try the sliders, because the only downside was how difficult it was to eat.
