JR Furniture Tukwila

My husband and I had a really great experience here when we went out looking to buy a new couch. We were helped by Sam and she was so great to work with and really attentive to our needs. I have lots of pain due to MS and we had space constraints. The other staff were really great and available too. The selection was superior to all the other furniture stores in the immediate area we visited that day. Ultimately we settled on what would be a very timeless looking chair for me to use at home with my heating pad. Once we found it they didn't try to up sell and were very accommodating due to my condition. Having had the new chair for a few weeks now, we just ordered a second one to have for when guests come over. I can't thank the staff here enough for being so helpful and accommodating. We'll make this store our first stop on all future furniture shopping trips.

Come to the location and ask for Richard! I had- hands down- the best shopping experience I've had working with Richard. I called the store, he verified the item before I made the trip out - he was waiting at the door and greeted me upon arrival. I felt as if I was treated like a close friend, we had lots of laughs and he provided me with lots of support and education in my purchase decision. I was by no means a big spender, but his customer service and professionalism didn't skip a beat. My mood was instantly lifted and high throughout the day! So many kudos to Richard for creating a great experience!

Went in looking for a living room set, was greeted by Sam. She was very helpful in listening to my specifications and showed us many options. We were surprised at how many things were in stock so we ended up replacing our dining table too. Delivery only took about a few days and they were fast and efficient. We are very happy with our purchase and the service shown. Highly recommend and ask for Sam!

Today was my first time in JR Furniture in Tukwila. I came in to look for a couch with my mother who has been on the search for months. JR was the 5th Furniture place we visited today.

Shopping experience:
Sam walked us to each couch that was the color and style that we were looking for and explained the specs of each. I appreciate her knowledge and pointing out that some styles can be customized to the color we wanted. We ultimately went with one of those options.

Paul the owner, came over to help during the finalization of the sale. Was able to offer a great price (though I tried for more Lol).

Overall, I feel the customer service was very hands on. Felt welcoming the moment I came in and chatted with an older gentleman who couldn't stop laughing at the banter between my mother and I. The shopping experience was fun, but also great to get a good deal on something we actually wanted.

Will also note, my experience was based on paying in full via card so I can't speak on the financing options.

I would shop at the Tukwila JR Furniture in the future but fully expect the same experience if not better. The bar has been set too high.

EDIT-- I also want to point out that the tables and chairs came with felt on the bottoms to prevent scratching the floors. I've NEVER had a furniture company do that before. Awesome!! My parents had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture damaging their new floor because of sharp edges around the feet. Thank you JR for the thoughtful precaution!!

We had a fantastic experience purchasing our dining table from JR's. I was nervous because they don't do refunds, but now that our table is home with us, I can breathe with relief. Richard was so warm and friendly upon first entering the store; he also helped make the purchasing process easy and smooth. Delivery was quick and on time. No back orders, either, and no issues 😊

I actually was coming from the dollar store and decided to stop in and take a look around . To my surprise, the saleswoman was inviting and friendly. Sam's customer service was so great. She sold me a sectional within minutes of being in the store. I really appreciate Sam's customer service. You just don't get that everywhere. So come in and ask for Sam. I promise you she has what you need for a great price.

Solid place to find good quality furniture at a discounted price. Went in with my husband and left with new beautiful furniture pieces. Ask for Richard he was Amazing! Great personality and very insightful and helpful. Will definitely recommend him to all family and friends that are in the market of buying new furniture. Thanks Richard your the best!!!

I am very happy with the sofa I purchased here. The store has a great selection with lots of custom fabric options and affordable prices. I found the perfect sectional for my space. Its comfortable and cute!
My sales person Patrick was super helpful and made sure I got my sofa asap after a short shipping delay (a week). The delivery guys were great as well. If you're shopping for furniture definitely stop by.

This is the second time coming in to purchase couches from JR furniture. The first time we were helped by a lady named Olga she was just amazing. This time we came in and Sam came to greet us. Her vibe & energy was just amazing, she was very patient and courteous and answered all our questions in a professional manner.
I would definitely recommend my family and friends to come see her.

Great variety of modern and traditional furniture options. Place is clean and staff members do not push you for immediate sale of items.

We love these folks, super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
We had a table disaster 1 day before the 4th of July and came in to find a replacement, Samara and another gentlemen found the table we wanted in there kent warehouse and we’re glad to let us pick it up same day, we are absolutely thrilled with the table, build quality feels excellent and the price was very good for what we got, can’t say enough about the staff here and thanks for saving our 4th cheers!!!

We enjoyed our experience @JR's. Patrick was great to work w/& through the process demonstrated honesty & integrity. He wasn't pushy at all. Jeff actually made the comment when we left there, "he was great to work with."

I'd give 10 stars if I could. I also know much of the furniture is made in USA, the tables I touched & fell in love w/were dovetail & very solid.

Great service from Patric! We were looking for a sectional couch and Patric said a new one had arrived. It was still in boxes in the back room, so he took us in the back, opened the boxes and set it up. It was perfect and we ordered it!

This was my 5th furniture stop in looking for a sectional and they had exactly what I needed at a great price and the sales person, Patrick, was fantastic. Best part was he even discussed return policy and possible drawbacks to my choice to make sure I was sure before final, which I so appreciated. Highly recommend and will shop here again. Thank you!

We came in only to look but PATRICK did such an UH-MAZING job taking care of us! He didn’t overwhelm us or make anything difficult. He helped us find the right couch for us. We appreciate all the attention from start to finish!

We got 2 leather couches during the Labor Day sale. The sales people were all super friendly and helpful. Everything in the store was clearly marked with a price and if it was in stock or not, after going to about 6 other stores looking for a couches before we found JR we found that very helpful. Our delivery came on the day and time window we were told. The delivery guys were lightning fast and made quick work of getting our furniture up 3 flights of stairs.

I had the most wonderful buying experience here! Mac was the BEST salesman! He was personable, knowledgeable and helpful.... and all without being pushy. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for, which was an attractive, comfortable, quality sofa which will last me for years! - I ended up custom ordering a Stanford Sofa which was supposed to be ready for delivery in 6 weeks, but only took 5 weeks. Bonus! =)

The sofa was delivered this morning and it is just stunning! The delivery company's service was also stellar. They arrived on time and were friendly, polite and respectful of our home. Their delivery charge was reasonable and they even moved our old sofa to the garage for us for a minimal extra fee.

Overall I don't think any part of the process could've been any better. Next time I'll save myself some leg work and just go straight here. =)
