The trail is well defined and easy, it would be great for strollers and bikes. There is a slight elevation gain, which allows for a greater protective of the general area. There are lots of picnic tables and bench's to watch the Truckee flow. There seems to be plenty of spots to fish.

This entire area during the fall is stunning. The Truckee River is beautiful. This entire stretch along the river is so peaceful.

The river is running high and fast with the high temperatures we've been having.

When I was there. I did help clean up the parking area and some of the rivers edge. I did enjoy the deer and wield horses that came over wear my car was parked at 3am. And ate the grass. The 2 foils or babies. Were pretty voiced about the whole thing. LOL So yes the fishing is great
Lots of parking and a bathroom.

Lovely place to recharge and have a walk about. Trial is well marked and easy hike. This oasis seems to be lightly traveled by humans . There are picnic tables and restroom facilities. A potential visit by wild horses who also enjoy the park.

Great spot to pull off and stretch your legs when travelling- wild horses wandering the trail! Free to get in, far from crowded, fishing off the bank of the truckee river! Highly recommend .

New trail additions look great. Geat area on the river to escape from the trash, well kinda, that has got pretty gnarly over the last couple of years in the city limits.

Well defined trails and a great place for doggie water aquatics. There are well placed benches and picnic tables. Clean for the most part. Flooding did some damage to the trail but does not pose any problems.

Nice and easy trail along the river. It can be done in an approximate mile loop. Easy access to the river. There are benches and tables for picnicking or relaxing. There is almost always water fowl and in the spring there are wild flowers.

Nice little sanctuary with tons of little wildlife and the river runs right by it. You don't really realize the highway nearby. Has a path you can walk alongside the river thats quite nice.

This is a fun place to visit the river and swim, fish, or hike. the only negative thing I can think of is a some people let their dogs off leash at this particular Park and they don't keep them under their command very well.

Beautiful and we saw a heard of wild horses that came right through the walking path. Great spot to pull off the highway for a rest or meal.
