If you are an avid train enthusiast then look no further! The Laramie Railroad Depot has to of great history! There are lots of artifacts from the early days of the Union Pacific Railroad and the Laramie Hahn's Peak and Pacific Railroad. The museum is a great place to rent out for events and parties. I see something new every I stop in. Check it out!

We came up for a Main Street educational presentation on destination businesses. This was a great location for the training and great people. Thanks for having us and the tour of downtown Laramie.

Although the building was not open we had a great time here! If you visit here you must check out the railroad exhibits in the park. The railroad signal crossing gates has to be like the only one in the USA. The fencing along the railroad in the park area makes videos/photos almost impossible. However, you only have to go to the iron bridge to the north or 1st street south of the pasrk to get great angles for video or photos. There is a port-a-john located at the bridge is worth noting. Parking is free here.

Neat little spot of history tucked into downtown Laramie. It has a nice little play area and a train that you can look at any time of the day. It is also a great location for events and gatherings.

Great historical information about the westward expansion on the railroad. It’s cool how much of the building is original.

Beautiful event venue in one of Laramie's historic treasures. The building is well cared for and is great for weddings, receptions, fundraisers or casual business meetings.

Lots of neat railroad items on display. For the kids had couple of small tables set up to run a toy train. Building itself still looks historic.

I visited the Laramie Railroad Depot during the annual open house. I was there to provide help with the Lego Train display.

I have to admit, I ride Amtrak, so I'm kinda partial to trains, so seeing this Depot, lovingly restored and cared for was something of a treat. You can see the history in this building, there are the old Amtrak signs, examples of the Union Pacific conductor caps, engineer caps. Seeing the history of the railroad was a treat to me.

A key piece of Laramie history, the railroad depot is a gem. Built of locally quarried stone and little changed in more than a century, it is a popular site for weddings, parties, and other celebrations. Unfortunately, it's not in regular passenger service anymore, though vintage locomotives such as the UP 4014 Big Boy make the Laramie Depot an occasional stop.
