Laramie Soccer Club

My kids have had a great experience with soccer through Laramie Soccer Club. I love how people are willing to step up and Volunteer to help the community through sports. Big thanks to all the great volunteers, and thanks for teaching our kids to play soccer and have fun!

Great place for your children to expand their love of soccer or just to decide if soccer is their passion. Great staff

I grew up in Laramie playing soccer for LSA it's where I gained my love for the game.

I went to watch my niece play the other day and it was sad to watch what Soccer has become here. I'm not really sure the kids know the rules of the game and I didn't see one ref on the field.

For the money parents in town are paying for their kids to play there are certain standards the club should meet.

If you feel like you want change and for your kids to actually learn the game I suggest you make the time to be at the meeting. Your money is being wasted on glorified kickball where from what I can see the board would rather pad their pockets than put the money into the kids where it belongs.

This place has the potential to be a hotspot soccer location in a small town. Unfortunately, incongruent policy, poor building conditions, and questionable employment practices will lead to the business's inevitable failure. The Soccer Club's successes in Laramie thus far are likely a result of their near monopoly over indoor space in a town plagued by harsh winters. As Laramie grows and more viable competitors enter the space, the Club's deficiencies will come to light. My specific thoughts on staffing problems are listed below in greater detail.

Staffing problems. To begin, it's important to illustrate that in a town like Laramie - hiring competent staff can be difficult. The state of the current staff suggests that one of two phenomenon has occurred: (a) the management severely misjudged the character and fitness of their employees during the hiring process; or (b) the management team was left with little practical alternative than to employ incompetent, repugnant, and socially inept individuals.

I have witnessed numerous occasions evidencing these staffing problems. Staff members have aggressively approached patrons, standing within 4 feet of their personal space, raising their voice, and spoken in unnecessarily combative tones. On one particular occasion, the employee stood so close into a patron's personal space that I feared the confrontation may quickly turn for the worse. Luckily the patron, not the employee, was able to defuse the situation. On another occasion: a person claiming to have some authority with the Club referred to me as an insensitive slur.

Unfortunate practices for a business with such potential.
