This was my birthday trip and I went to Akida and told her what I wanted for this celebration. She made sure that I was comfortable and happy with each arrangement (I even changed dates, location of the airport, and how many people were attending smh). She did such an amazing job! Jamaica was far better than I expected. Even the excursions was amazing! I was so happy! Akida, you are the best! I really do appreciate all the help and the effort you put into this trip for me. If I could give less tan zero stars I would! If you want to have your VERY expensive dream vacation nearly ruined by a travel agent who has no idea what they’re doing, then by all means book with Akida Mayfield at Cruise Planners in Chester, VA! She will take your money, then provide no assistance whatsoever when you’re bumped from the flight she pushed you into booking by insisting it’s the only one available (Big Lie #1) Then when you miss the first day of your cruise after having to buy all new plane tickets, she will tell you she is working with Land2Sea to assist you, but not really do it, so you’ll get nothing from them either (Big Lie #2). Then she will tell you that you can recoup some of your lost funds if you file a claim with the worthless travel insurance she insisted you buy, only to find out that is also a big lie and you get nothing. (Big Lie #3). Save yourself a lot of misery, money, and heartache, and book the cruise and flights yourself! Stay away from Cruise Planners, Chester, VA!
