So happy to find this FIVE STAR dining spot only two miles off I-95 in Ashland, Virginia. Awesome food and a wonderful break for during our long drive from North Carolina to Maryland. Try the NC and VA BBQ sandwiches, potato salad, pea salad, wide choice of deserts, and much more (see the complete menu photo). Located beside the Henry Clay Inn and Historic Ashland Railroad Station.

This is the second time eating here. I had carry out. The chicken salad sandwich meal is good. I got the Sandwich with a deviled egg, angel hair pasts, and a piece of key lime pie. It was delicious 🙂

We did a vampire theme. They catered the event we had at Red Vein escape. I’ve never tasted anything so good in my life! The angel hair pasta salad is to DIE for. The blood orange lemonade, same. I’d DEFINITELY use them again,

Always a favorite when in Ashland and now a Halloween Day tradition. I had the crab cake sandwich and cucumber salad, both delicious and my sister has the pastrami and Swiss on rye, which I tried and it was toasted to perfection.

They catered our wedding and everything was amazing. The service was impeccable. Everyone ranged and raved about the good. We loved everything!

Cozy lunch spot on the tracks in downtown Ashland that is perfect for watching trains. The food is tasty and prepared fresh on site.

Suzanne's is a comfortable place and has great food. I had the ham and cheese quiche, green pea salad, deviled eggs and limeaid. They have a beautiful outdoor patio. They have ample parking behind the restaurant.

The name says it all! If you want homemade food but don’t want to cook, this is the place. Tasty food at reasonable prices.

ABSOLUTELY...the best little Mom & Pop full service deli spot..Deviled Eggs..Chicken salad..and the desserts..I do not think a single item is over 5$..& IT'S HOMEMADE..right in front of you*..GETS NO BETTER!!!!

We had Homemade by Suzanne make all the food for our wedding reception. Everything they made was exceptional and a lot more food than we expected. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly and professional. I would not only recommend them I would suggest that if you don’t have them cater your reception or any type of event you’re truly missing out.

Had an hour to kill waiting for a train, so popped in for a bite. Might have been the best BLT sandwich I'd ever had. And the service was lovely. Great job everyone.

The bacon dried tomato quiche was phenomenal but was disappointed that they ran out of cheddar and pea salad. The cucumber tomato salad was good though.

I wish I lived close to Suzanne's! I'd be there every day!

While eating lunch, it was delightful Suzanne greeted us and chatted to ensure all was well with our delicious lunch. She's always kind, hard working and dedicated, just like her entire staff.

I got chicken salad in a fantastic Hanover tomato and potato salad! Yummy! Then, I bought quiche, seafood salad and a tomato pie to bring home and share...Then, some apple pie for dessert. My idea of heaven!

My favorite place to eat! Whether dining in or carrying out, the food, presentation, customer service at Suzanne's is always outstanding. 👌

My husband and I came here for a “date lunch.” It’s nestled in the middle of adorable Ashland on the train tracks. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is friendly and hard- working! The outdoor patio has great seating with umbrellas and the inside is always clean. We enjoy this place so much! We will be back for certain!

Delicious chicken salad sandwich, macaroni salad & dessert boxed lunch meals to go. So good & very filling! I even skipped dinner as I was still full. Thank you.

Suzanne’s made my Dad a homemade carrot cake for Father’s Day. They delivered it to him and he was so happy. He said it was the most FABULOUS carrot cake ever! I am so grateful for Suzanne’s exceptional baking expertise and stellar communication skills. 10 out of 10 for Suzanne’s!

A deli with a southern accent! Excellent sandwiches, side dishes, and bakery desserts in a quaint setting. The staff were friendly and helpful during our visit (our first). To me, the quality of the dill pickles served is a good indicator of the quality of a deli, and these were great.
