My husband went to Aventura hospital after a 45 pound weight fell in his foot. Dr Semer did surgery on his foot. He was super kind and respectful with us, he explained every detail of the procedures and he clarified all my doubts. He, and the rest of the team are excellent doctors who made this process way easier. Definitely he is the best! He saw that I was very worried and also called me to let me know how everything went on the surgery. He is a great person who understands and respect his patients and their families.

Dr. Semer and his staff were truly fantastic when it came to treating my injury. He and his staff treated me with the utmost care and respect and he walked me through the entire procedure and what it required to get me back on my feet in the months following the surgery. I cant think of anyone better to go back to then Dr. Semer if i ever have any podiatry related issues again.

The best!! I have been to a few doctors to treat an open wound on the sole of my foot. It just wasn't getting any better. Then I made contact with Dr. Semer. Finally, someone took the time to listen to me. He was kind, understanding and I got the treatment I needed.

Dr. Larry Semer is a fantastic doctor. I went to him for a second opinion because the first doctor I saw was pushing surgery on me and Dr. Semer treated me without surgery and healed my foot pain within 3 months. The office staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this office.

This guy is the worst doctor I have ever experienced in my 53 years on the planet. He is all about the money, not concerned with your health, just your wallet/insurance card.
Go somewhere else!

This Dr was viciously rude and disrespectful to my 101 year old grandmother and her aide. The Dr accused the aide of being a thief and taking advantage and stealing from my grandmother, even though her name is on all the paperwork.

I am horrified by this, and hope his other patients don't receive such discriminatory service

I had a very negative experience with this doctor.

I’m a disabled diabetic who is hard of hearing and went to go see this doctor to help me with a very painful leg/foot problem.

Instead of help, I got harassed.

The receptionist took the photocopy of my insurance card, and my drivers license; I filled out the paperwork, and when they called me in, the receptionist wanted to take a picture of me... I told her that I don’t like people taking pictures of me, she said it was for the records, I said she can use the one from the driver license, and she got upset and stormed out.

So, when the doctor came, he asked me a question and I asked him to repeat what he said. He scolded me for not having my hearing aid, even after I had informed him it hurts my ears, so I don’t use it alot. Then he asked me: “What do you have to hide, that you didn't let the person take your picture?” I said, You are really very upset about it, and I don't feel comfortable. He raised his voice at me, and it was very rude, so I left and didn't do the consultation, and I request to get my paperwork back, and he scream at me “NO.. Those are for my Records!” I told him he was very unprofessional and left.

On top of all that, the room that they ask me to wait to see the doctor was very dirty, and didn't have the tissue paper to put on the patient's chair. If someone goes with an infection or something, it is very easy for next person to get infected.

I wish there was a way to post negative stars! Waited for 1 hour and they took in someone whos appointment was 1/2 hour after mine. Reporting to the insurance company.

This is not a doctor!!! He is a monster!!! Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nasty, horrible attitude. Sour face. Does not look neat!!!
