I am disappointed to see all the negative reviews on the practice and on Dr. Fiasal! We've been with them for 5 years now and have had nothing but positive experiences with the entire staff. Dr. F is always extremely helpful and proactive in working with my husband on his very complex treatment plan. He even took the time to check on us a few times since the pandemic began to see how his is doing between appointments.

They helped me very quick and efficiently! Everyone is so nice and caring here! I will definitely be going here for now on and I feel bad they are rated so low but looks like they have changed since most of the reviews.

Dr. Faisal and Dr. Bagley are excellent and all of the staff at reception are consistently clear and professional while also being warm and friendly; I could talk to Rhoda with her dry wit all day.

I was there in the end of January 2020.

Lets get food out of the way. The food was good cafeteria food, and there is lots of food given to patients.

Doctors/ Nurse practitioners
I had Nurse practitioner Kylie or thats what the patients called her. She was a down to earth clinician, and did not try to feed you any nonsense.

Nurses
My favorite LPN is John he is good at the nursing job and will make you smile while doing it. I would say the rest of the nurses are mostly above average except RN Cortney who discharged me and opened the door to the lobby and said "DON'T COME BACK" I think she is unprofessional should take some inservice training on talking to patients.

Techs
I would say Maria and Monique were the best techs on this ward, and kept things light.

Therapist
I can honestly say that this program kept you busy and motivated. Other than that I have no honorable mentions about this part of the program. I found nothing special about this area other than that they have therapists that will talk to you on a one on one basis as needed.

I think that covers the whole program. If you have and questions do not hesitate to ask.

DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. While the subsequent perpetrators of the fraud scheme to which I became victim were at PWMC, it all started here, when they were still Novant Health Psychiatric Associates, with their former employee, Dr. Peresechenski, who committed such egregious fraud that there's no resemblance between what she fabricated and our actual interactions, nor a true word in her extensive lies to me. Hard to say if I was always slated, as a gullible individual, for greater fraud, or if it really was just to hide her prior fraud when a quirky series of events almost accidentally exposed it to myself and her coworkers, but her subsequent even greater fraud destroyed me. Also, the secretaries interred snide commentary in the medical records, until suddenly one of them realized there really was a problem with what Dr. Peresechenski was doing (and not doing) and tried to be helpful - but it was too little too late. HOWEVER, they also had, at the time, a psychologist Dr. Hunter, who was NOT prone to fraud, and did a legitimate psych eval just fine, three days before Dr. Peresechenski would begin what would become a spiral of fraud. Luckily, it looks like Dr. Hunter managed to escape this cesspool of iniquity.

Dr. Faisal is very arrogant and will not work with you on any part of your care. I was in the military and was being treated for anxiety and depression. The anxiety was easily controlled with 2mg Valium as needed. I told Faisal this and he insisted on not treating me with this medicine even though my anxiety was controlled when taking it. He insisted on just changing my anti- depressant and putting me on abilify which is an anti-psychotic and I did not want to take this type of drug. After a few messages back and forth with Faisal on My Chart and a few weeks later I get a letter in the mail saying he refused to treat me and that I need to find another doctor. Also, my next appointment was cancelled by him. No wonder he is the only psychiatrist in this practice and all the others (4-5) doctors have left. They probably didn’t want to work with this jerk. If you are considering going to this practice I would reconsider your decision. Good luck.

Their new patient process is horrible. When you call to schedule an appointment you are required to leave a message an they will get back to as that is your only option. I've had to call numerous times leaving messages of desperation for them to return my call to schedule a new appointment. Their policy is to call back within 48 hours. If you aren't able to pick up their call when they call you back they will leave a message with the return number being the same answering machine you talked to the first time. You then call back and leave another message, again as that is your only option. You wait a couple more days and engage them in a phone tag until you are finally at the phone when they call you back. To be depressed and to have anxiety and deal with their lack of caring when it comes to making the process easy is miserable. Their new patient process is the worst! After I finally got through to them, the earliest they had availability was months away.

I found this office last minute when I needed a psychiatrist ASAP & I found dr fisal, I notice a few red flags at first but I don’t know why I continued going, it seemed like he was more worried about the money and he would ask me certain things I didn’t feel comfortable with and continue to ask every visit. I was prescribed anti depressants for my anxiety & depression which doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve been hospitalized before they had gave me Valium and Prozac, the Prozac didn’t help me at the time but the point is my anxiety was being treated. Dr fizal or how ever you spell his name basically said I just need therapy for my anxiety and gave me trazadone which is for sleep. So when I had anxiety I didn’t know what to do. Now I’m in the same situation he’s sent me a letter declined me as a patient, but wasn’t working with me to begin with. All he cares about is his money. Worst experience ever. I love most of the nurses there & even my Therapist, but as far as dr fisal I wish I never walk into his office for help.

Rhoda in the front office has a terrible attitude every time I have dealt with her or heard others speak with her. Their patient phone tag as mentioned in another review is awful, inefficient, and will give you anxiety if you don't already have it. Many of their policies are unrealistic for people with mental illness. Just seems like a money making operation first and foremost, no care for patients, no personability. Never going back.

Months of attempts to be told only phone intake, it's laughable if it wasn't a medical provider.

At the end of 2017, thr doctor I was working with left the practice, and I received a bland letter stating that patients could be seamlessly transferred to Dr. Faisal. It turned out he was the only doctor left in the practice, and he couldn’t take on new patients, so likely hundreds of patients were left without a care provider all at once.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. If I could give a big zero, I would. Felt worse after I left than before I got there. No wonder it was so easy to get an appointment on the same day.
