Zoka Coffee Roasters and Tea Company

There are many coffee places in the Seattle area. Most are mediocre. A lot are bad (looking at you "Char"bucks). Zoka is among the very few outstanding coffee places and I recommend them without hesitation.

They roast their own. I know back in the day they used to roast at their Greenlake location and the cafe there smelled wonderful during the day when they did. I like to grab a bag of beans when I stop by.

I don't typically order espresso drinks, but when visiting a Zoka cafe at times I'll order a lavender mocha. It's not sugary sweet with just the right amount of lavender flavor & dark cocoa.

If you've never had Zoka I recommend that you stop in and give it a try.

I tried this spot for some morning coffee and a breakfast sandwich. My latte was good, with a thick cap of foam. My sausage, egg, and melted cheese breakfast sandwich on grilled ciabatta bread was excellent: the sausage and cheese tasted great and the bread was amazing.

There can be a bit of a wait. There was only one barista/cashier on staff when I arrived, but a second person showed up to help work the counter at 8 am.

The shop is pretty noisy with people chatting and music playing. If you're looking for a quiet place to sit and read, this won't be it during busy times.

Such a cute coffee shop!! I LOVE all the big windows and how aesthetic Zoka is. Their coffee is always really great, and it’s a perfect place to stop by and work for a bit or just grab a quite bite/drink and walk down to the waterfront.

We ordered the Honey Cardamom Latté & Brown Sugar Oat Milk Latté (which we liked a little better). Both were really good though! Will definitely be back to try some of their teas and pastries.

Such a cute coffee shop! If you’re looking to study somewhere, I definitely recommend here. It’s nice and quite, so much natural sunlight and the drinks are pretty good - they’re a bit on the light side. Great service too, such friendly staff!

Really good coffee shop in downtown Kirkland. While there are other good coffee shops in Kirkland, this has become my go to. In addition to really good coffee, it has a great atmosphere.

It is wondeful place , they have pour over choice apart form nicest cortado, lavender latte.

one of my favorite Cafe in State of Washington. This place is 10 times better than Starbucks and a bit cheaper too but the Coffee is tasteful here! I ordered latte + almond croissant and they were delicious. The atmosphere is very fun with nice furniture and cute decorations, if you like to sometimes work from home you can spend hours here! Definitely recommend.

Had a turkey melt and a mocha. It was like in a movie. The barista was super friendly and helpful making choices, and my coffee was a work of art. I didn't want to mess it up. But most importantly the food and coffee tasted great. Glad I decided to try a new place.

Zoka Coffee Shop has become my favorite coffee haven with its truly amazing brews. My regular cappuccino with oat milk is a consistent delight, boasting rich flavors and expertly crafted foam. The exceptional quality prompted me to share the experience with friends in Dallas, Texas. I purchased Zoka's coffee beans for them, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. They, too, fell in love with the exceptional taste and are now eager fans. Zoka Coffee Shop not only satisfies my coffee cravings but also makes for a perfect gift to spread the joy of great coffee.

This was an amazing place to coffee! The coffee was good and so was the last cookie there(snickerdoodle). Although the line was long, our coffe came quickly! Would recommend.

Great cappuccino and price comparable to most places in Seattle. Really nice coffee flavor, no sour or burnt aftertaste. Super quick service and nice interior, would hangout/do work here if I had time!

I stopped by this cozy coffee shop on the way to the pier nearby. Very amazing cappuccino made by wonderful staff. Would come every week if I lived here, I’m from Dallas we have local coffee shops too but this is placed so perfectly in downtown Kirkland. Keep up good work.

Baristas know how to make good coffee here. I believe the coffee beans are also fresh and rich in its flavor. I am mesmerized by their hand techniques of coffee crafts. Either warm or cold, Zoka Lattes here always taste the same, and I believe providing the same taste is the skill.

Located near the waterfront - grab a coffee and take a walk to the pier and into the downtown Kirkland.

Zoka is a 5. Come on, in Moss Bay, it’s the best coffee, best space, and such a great community vibe. A coffee joint is not just about coffee, it’s an experience: hear the chatter, hearing the sounds of the barista, and the faint sounds of music. All things considered, in Moss Bay, Zoka is 5 stars.

Full disclosure I am a tea guy. It must be all those years living in London. That is what brought me into this well managed Coffee shop. So it was over a better than average cup of tea I struck up a conversation with the locals. The crib notes of the conversation have this place formed in the waning days of grunge. In my opinion, Zoka has held up a lot better than the music. The staff is great and always ready to give you all the information you will ever need on just where a brand of coffee came from and how it made its way to your cup. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Delicious matcha latte prepared by the most attentive and friendly staff. They were happy to change up the drink a little to the way I wanted it, and smiles all round.

Amazing coffee shop near waterfront. Kirkland has grown so big with google closeby. Sunday have free parking near waterfront and you can walk around.

The location is convenient and cozy, with plenty of seating options. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have a variety of pastries and snacks to choose from.
