Great people, friendly, knowledgeable. Made me feel very comfortable with my purchase as a newbie. Distributor was a bit slow, so they stayed on top of my order to ensure I got it asap. Highly recommended.

One of the biggest gun stores I've ever been to. They have muskets from the 1800's that actually work! I've NEVER seen them anywhere else before. The guys behind the counter were actually helpful AND nice, not the typical arrogant know it alls you find in these places. Of course it was clean and well maintained. I was just window shopping to kill time so I don't have input on actual transactions, buy I'd still reccomend you come in and at least check it out. It deserves five stars

Needed a set of rings for my 22 mag. They let me bring the gun in with my scope and we tried some different rings until we found ones that worked. Super nice people work there and it’s a comfortable place to shop. I asked The Who I think was the owner 5-6 questions and he kept a smile and helped me as much as he could. Nice people will be going back again

Absolutely.THE BEST place to buy guns in Roanoke and in the surrounding area. EXTREMELY friendly and helpful employees that always make you feel welcome and right at home. It makes no difference whether you are beginner or an expert they treat everyone with equal respect. Nice selection in stock to choose from, very reasonable prices, and if they don't have it they can most likely order it. Love this store!

This store is amazing. If you need anything for hunting or outdoors you need to go see them. You won’t find friendlier more helpful people. They have a great selection of guns you don’t normally see and wide selection of bows at great prices. Love working with everyone there but especially Randy in archery. In the past I’ve visited other hunting stores and haven’t been taken seriously and have been looked down on as a woman who’s interested in archery and guns. That won’t happen here. They treat you like a friend they’ve known for years and help you. So ladies don’t be afraid to go here. Disregard any of the crazy bad reviews on google and go see them you will be glad you did!!!

Purchased a Glock 22 pistol recently. These guys know their stuff. I wasn't sure what I wanted and don't have a lot of experience with guns so the help was much appreciated. Paul and the staff are always ready to help answer questions, friendly and just plain hospitable. I'll never go any place else. Thanks guys!

I went to Bryansteen Gun and Archery, with my son and his father -in-Law visiting from Seattle, Washington. The staff was so friendly, and made feel like we were long time customers. I can't wait to go back there as soon as I can. A great place to visit!

A good selection of old collectable firearms.

The main man who runs the place is very patient, and if you get on his good side he always works out a deal.

Ammo prices are a bit high, but there are gems in those boxes if you look around.

These guys always get their hands on old mausers, Lee Enfields, Japanese bolt guns etc - stuff you never see at gun stores.

Being new to firearms, they have treated me well and answered my basic questions. Some other places in town have not been so understanding about my lack of knowledge. I appreciate their willingness to talk with me and negotiate pricing on used guns.

This is my favorite place in Roanoke to look for used firearms in great shape. They’re very honest and helpful. They are also a great FFL dealer to go to for special ordering a firearm.

I have been buying from Bryansteens since 2002 and have had nothing but good experiences. They sold me my first two handguns, a used Springfield 1911 45acp and a new Ruger P94DC 40 cal. I have bought numinous firearms from them over the years and a trip to Roanoke is not complete until I browse their used rack.
