Riddle Me Roanoke

This was a great way to spend a family night! Everyone working there was friendly and helpful and seem to really enjoy their job. We did the room "Silence the Lights". It was just challenging enough to keep you on task but had points where the whole family was able to help. We look forward to playing again. I highly recommend it!

We have done 3 rooms here and have loved everyone one of them! The puzzles are creative and challenging and we always have a great time at Riddle Me Roanoke! Can't wait to go back!

This was our first escape room experience. Something we have wanted to do for years, but never got around to it. Stumbled upon Riddle Me when visiting another business in the same shopping center. Got tickets for a bday gift and man was it GREAT!!!!! The Staff is absolutely wonderful, the room was challenging, yet not to the point of frustration. I would give 10 stars if I could! Cannot wait to go again! We are already excited to try another room next time! HIGHLY recommend!!

These escape rooms are incredibly clever and the game masters are always very welcoming. The shop owner is so kind and his escape rooms are far superior to the rooms at valley view mall. We have completed all rooms and are excited about the next installment. We can’t get enough of Riddle Me Roanoke!

So much fun! We tried the Pirate room, and the clues were very well-constructed. We were definitely challenged, but we were also supported in being successful. We rang the bell with 2 seconds left! We are already planning our next adventure!

My crew really enjoyed our time here. Allen was great and made us feel welcomed and excited to play. He allowed us to bring my one year old son on a rainy day so us adults could get out. My son loved it! We highly recommend visiting.

We booked the Pirates escape room as a birthday present for my sister and we were so happy with our decision! The room was so interactive, the puzzles were challenging, and Adam was a great game master. We are all talking about how we can't wait to come back. Thank you for a great afternoon!

We were celebrating my daughter’s 13th bday and she had been wanting to do an escape room. Of the 7 of us, only 2 had done one before. We had a BLAST! Al was so kind and the room was challenging enough to be fun, but not hard enough to be frustrating. Ages in our group ranged from 11-76. It was a great way to work together and highlight each of our strengths. We will be back, for sure!

Our family went for the Pirate adventure. The whole family was able to participate. From the twelve year old to the adults...we were all busy working through the puzzles and we made it through with 2 seconds to spare. The hour went by fast and we had a blast!! My daughter was thrilled with this little birthday adventure!

We brought a group of student leaders to do the Malt Shop and Lost Will rooms. The students had an awesome time and really enjoyed the experience! The facility was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they did a great job explaining things to those who had never done an escape room. The rooms were themed really well, and we absolutely loved our time at Riddle Me Roanoke.

Really fantastic. We did the Christmas Lights room, it was super fun and the puzzles were challenging. The people who own it are LOVELY and I loved that they have so many family friendly options. We (4 adults and 1 4 year old) completed the room with only a minute left. We requested 3 hints and the hints provided were helpful, giving just enough information to point us in the right direction without giving away the clue. We will definitely be back.

UPDATE: We went back again and did The Evaluation, and again had a great time! It was definitely a more challenging room, but we loved the creativity and hard work that went into making this room awesome!

We did The Lost Will and had a blast! It was my friend's birthday, and it was just the 4 of us. It was challenging, but they are there to help you when you need it via the monitors in the room. We were able to solve it with using 4 hints with 5 minutes to spare! This was an incredible first time experience for us, and we will definitely be back!

This place was so much fun! I did the malt shop room with my friends and it was challenging but still really fun! We all agreed that we are definitely coming back to play more rooms!

We had my daughter's 13th birthday party here with five of her friends. They had a great time! Only two had done an escape room before so it was a great first experience for them. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and helped us with those unlimited hints. We did the Malt Shop and will definitely go back again to try the other rooms. I'd highly recommend this family-owned business for a fun time.

This was our first experience with Riddle me Roanoke, our countdown to escape came down to the last minute. We made it but needed a few hints. We are definitely ready for round two and look forward to a wonderful repeat experience.

We just got done with the pirate room and it was beyond fantastic!! Me, my brother, and both our girlfriends drove down to Roanoke to surprise my dad for his birthday and we took him to the riddle me escape room and did the pirate room. The whole experience from when you walk in the door till the end exceeded our expectations by a mile!!! The gentleman at the front desk (sorry forgot his name) provided great great service and I cannot recommend this place enough!!! If your looking to have a few hours of fun this is the place to go!!!

My friends surprised me for my birthday in January by taking me here to do the lost will and I loved it so much that for my husbands birthday this weekend I surprised him by taking him there!! The staff is so genuine, they truly want you to have an amazing time. We did the Battle behind bars, the room was bare but that just made it more interesting. The puzzles really made us think to complete them so it wasn't easy but that's what makes them fun. We all had a great time and will definitely be going back again!!

A great family activity. Pirates theme was fun with great decor. Puzzles were challenging, we finished with only a few minutes left. We felt comfortable with the COVID precautions, everything was clean. Thank you for a fun Saturday afternoon!

We had SO much fun at Riddle Me Roanoke! In the room, it was just my friend and me. We were able to escape the Lost Will with *a few* hints. The room was challenging but not so much that we were frustrated. The is was sooo friendly and very kind! We will definitely be back and would 100% recommend!

Pirate room was so fun for our family of four. Boys ages 10 and 12. Lots of puzzles. The family owners are so nice! Unlimited hints. One of the coolest decorated rooms we’ve seen compared to other escape rooms. Hard enough to be s challenge. We needed three hints.
