Taqueria El Taco Maestro

This is by far the best Mexican food I’ve found after 10 years in the Seattle area. From L.A. and lived in southern AZ- this is by far the closest thing to comfort food that I’ve found. Chili rellano and lengua tacos are some of my favorite things on the menu.

Super glad to find this gem that is as close as you can get to the famous Tacos El Guardo in San Diego.

The tacos here are crazy good, especially the crispy tripas, cabeza, adobada and lengua! I also ordered the fried tilapia fish and was impressed by the freshness and portion.

Service was excellent. Fast and courteous.

Atmosphere is hole-in-the-wall, and clean.

The food is delicious. I couldn't stop thinking about it the next day.

Great tacos! Ordered the beef tongue and beef tripe, spicy pork. Meat was very tender. Very value for money.

The adobada and asada tacos are delicious will definitely stop by here more often.

For my first trip to the Taqueria El Taco Maestro, I ordered a few goat tacos and everything came out on par with what I expected, or even better. I love this place. They make you feel welcome and then provide top notch cuisine. I would recommend anybody to visit them and try their food.

Honestly can’t wait to try more things on the menu. I got pork, chicken, and adada tacos as well as the enchiladas. The carmalized onion, pickled radish, and lime slices complement them well. The verde salsa is perfect. Adding a few little grilled jalapeños for a little kick 👌🏻 this place is probably the best Mexican food I’ve had since being in Washington. Good flavor, fresh taste, awesome prices. Up next is the chili relleno and some tongue tacos

I had a girlfriend from Taiwan years ago. She said go to the sushi places where the Asians go. Same applies to Hispanic restaurants. The place is full of Hispanics eating and having a good time. Food here is beyond delicious. Highly recommended.

Best tacos I've had in Washington so far. Coming from Southern California I know good tacos. I got the Carne asada, chorizo and adobada tacos. Liked them all!

Every time I think about the tacos at this location, my mouth waters. I’ve been eating here for a few years now, and it just keeps getting better. I’m so proud of the restaurant for growing from something small to slowly making its way as the best Mexican restaurant in Renton. I recommend ordering the Carne Asada tacos.

Been coming here for a long time, tacos are really great, only this last time wherr they lacking, one of my tacos was basically all onions no meat and Im sire they charged me for an extra taco I didnt order, weird. I will keep coming and tipping here, still the best value. Always busy but worth it, give the workers a break theyre doing their best.

This place is such a gem. The tacos are on the small side but cheap and tasty, and the service is great. All kinds of different people come here to eat. And the last time I was here I could hear the guys in the kitchen all singing joyously. I couldn’t help but smile. Happy cooks and staff = good food, good restaurant.

We order their sopes de carne asada because they’re so good 😊 with beans, meat cabbage tomato cheese salsa as good as eating them in Mexico 🇲🇽

Actually so much better than I thought it would be. Really is a hidden gem. Really good food here. My biggest complaint is that upon entering, you will be smack with a very strong scent of soil or something. Doesn’t put a whole lot of confidence in the store but the food really makes up for it.

I have been coming here since 2018 and I promis you this it right here. Now I stay in Tacoma and I drive 33 miles to eat here. This is the best Mexican joint I've been to here in WA and I have been and travel to a lot of places.

Such good food! Try the carnitas or pollo sopes. The tacos are also so amazing! We've been enjoying these tacos since they were a food truck over on 99. Edit: they just finished a very nice remodel and expansion. They now have plenty of room for the lunch rush.

This is my go-to place, when I need to cheat on my diet! I love taking friends here, and watching them fall into a major taco addiction. The food is amazing! If you're looking for TRULY authentic street tacos, this is the place!

Great selection of standard Mexican fare and reasonable prices. They have a great online ordering system. I've tried several items including tacos, burritos, and tamales and haven't been disappointed. Fast service, too.

Best authentic Mexican food I've had in the area. Sooo good. I usually get lengua (beef tongue) tacos and they are cooked so perfect. If anyone knows anything about eating lengua it needs to be cooked precise or else it will be tough to eat. Very flavorful. Definitely check this place out
