Spring Creek Park

Driving by and decided to check it out. I'm assuming it had tall shade trees prior hurricane Michael. Now the large trunks are laying where they fell...minus the parts that were trimmed away from the boardwalk. The relatively short boardwalk was damaged and has been repaired. It appears to be a popular fishing spot. There was a sign about swimming at your own risk, so I guess it's possible, but the water was very high & flowing fast. There's also one picnic table. The park is small. Unless you're fishing you probably won't spend much time here.

Beautiful Little park on the water. It is visible many nice mature trees have been damaged by Hurricane Michael. Fast recovery.

Clear, cool waters. Nice sandy bottom. Porta potti on site. Decent parking close to the water. Not too large of an area so it fills up fast.

Loved it. But it is 4hrs long be prepared to be in cold and then even colder water. Also try to have 2 cars one at the bottom of the river and one at the top. That way you can use your own tubes and save a ton of money on rental, but if not bear paw is more than willing to take your money and bring you back. No attack on bear paw they are a good honest service but you can save a lot of money with some simple planning.

It's one if our favorite launches for the canoe. I cant wait until its repaired.

Love going tubing here, but FYI, starting Memorial Day, all food and drinks have to be in non-perishable containers, and the law is out enforcing it.

This place is the perfect place to catch some fish or launch your tubes for tubing down the river. As any other place to get your "feet wet" during the summer or on warm holidays it can get crowded. The main thing about this place it when the season is upon us there is always a county cop in the parking lot. I have never had to worry about the safety of me or my kids here

Can you go camping anywhere along the river there other than Arrowhead ..or down Turner's Landing... I don't care I grew up on that River in my daddy's ashes are buried in it so I'm going to pay one last tribute and go down the river and Gulf about 30 yards in the woods are off the river in camp out I have a night with him

Was in town briefly and decided to stop by after dinner. Beautiful scenery, and just a cool spot. Great place to watch the sunset. Definitely worth stopping by.

I love this park for tubing, fishing and an occasional walk during the week for exercise. the boardwalk is textured and well maintained which makes it easy to walk.

I look forward to coming back some time to see it when its repaired. It looks like a lot of work went in to making it what it was and i hope they get the support they need to make it that way again.

Fun experience, affordable tube rentals, safe for aged swimmers.. friendly staff and knowledgeable of the river!!

It is so beautiful I truly enjoyed my visit can't wait to take the grandchildren with me next time.

This is a nice place to fish or put in a canoe. It has a boardwalk to hike and some picnic tables. Opes from sunrise to sunset.

Breathtaking water, with its crystal clearness. Very inviting to want to come back when its warmer.

Shallow spring fed creek with a shell/sand/limestone bed. Crystal clear and a good short paddle to the Chipola River.

It's amazing even with the damage from the hurricane. Hope it's cleaned up soon

Seen some big fish here. Haven't caught anything yet.
