Beautiful park! Things are easily found and staff is very friendly and helpful. Roads are newly paved and marked. Trails were easy to navigate and scenic. VIPs and Host were very friendly. If you’re camping in a long rig just know that in the campground the turns are sharp. Horse camp is so nice with day use.

I wish i was able to explore on my own, but I understand that the limited self-control of the populus prohibits me from experiencing such wonders freely and without supervision.
It's a neat cave. It's not super big, and it costs about $16 for a tour. I probably won't go back . They do have other trails that i did not check out that don't cost money, but you have to pay an entry fee to enter the park.

This was just such wonderful, wonderful experience. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the whole OK because it was flooded so we only had half a tour but what we saw was so interesting and beautiful. we went on a hike around there and it was kind of rough walking it. Lots of rocks and stumps and it was challenging for me, but I made it but if you’re handicap I would not recommend it. They have a small museum and a gift shop. Was a great fun day

We visited this state park on Thursday, March 7th. The weather was really beautiful so we brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed having that on the tables outside the historic visitor center. The visitor center has a small giftshop where you purchase tour tickets (the only way to see the cave is by tour) but we purchased them ahead of time online. If buying ahead of tiem online, note that they are non-returnable and non-refundable. If you miss your tour then you must repurchase them. The website is very clear about this policy. There is also an informative museum on the upper level of the building which is worth going through while you wait for your tour. Our tour lasted about an hour and was led by John, who did a nice job and was entertaining. The caves are beautiful and bigger than we had thought that they would be. They are not massive like Mammoth Cave or the other National Park sites around the country, but they are definitely worth your time if you are passing nearby. They are very unique for Florida.

Also on the grounds are several trails. We enjoyed the trail to the Tunnel Cave which was easy to hike and lots of fun to stoop through.

We were at the park about 3 hours doing the cave tour, the short trail to Tunnel Cave, and seeing the visitor center. Note, if coming from Florida, the park is in Central Time.

Fabulous park! Caverns are awesome, tour guides are informative. Would be nice if they offered a senior discount. Brand new roads. Signage is adequate. Rebuilding after hurricane. Never here, b4, so I can't compare. Kayak launch, horse camp, primitive camp, group camp, rv camp, with all connections, Inc. sewer spring fed " blue hole" year around 62 degrees. Well planned park.

Arrive early to buy tickets. There's a small museum and a video tour. "Moderate to severe exercise" is mostly for 33 steps into cavern. If you can walk up the incline to the gift shop, you should be able to do the tour. Raf was our tour guide; he was great. Loved the titanic

Make sure you get there early on your journeys so you have time to get home.. and the GPS worked fabulous this time so no problems coming and going.. can't remember the name of my tour guide but he was fabulous explain so much and had so much knowledge.. Nice park for hiking and a visit to the carverns is a must if you are here. They do charge $15 per person for 45 minute guided tour. I do not think you can go into the cave unless you are on the tour. The caverns are great. Plenty of lighting. Some uneven floor and some steps. Also there are several very low ceilings, so if you are taller then that is a little more of an issue. Just need to duck or crouch down. No place do you need to crawl. The cavern formations are spectacular and still actively growing. Outside the caverns, there are some nice hiking trails. The trails are not very difficult, so great for kids. Dogs can use the hiking trails on leash. No dogs inside the caverns.

The Park staff was very well organized and the park tour guide was very friendly and interesting. It's a great place to bring kids to awaken their exploratory spirit and it's overall a beautiful cave system that's is definitely worth of visiting. I suggest 3-4 h stay time including the 1 h + tour as this park has a lot to offer.

A very nice visit to the Caverns. It might be challenging for tall people as there are several places the height is four feet, and a few places the width is two feet. The staff were all kind and helpful.

There are a few places that feel a little tight, but it still feels pretty open. Being wet and dark, it's can be slippery, but your guide will remind you where those spots are.

Great place to visit with the whole family! The park is very clean and well maintained. You can enjoy some hiking (easy/medium hard) with very nice views. The cave tour is worth the adventure.

Exploring this cave was so much fun, and we learned about the history of the caverns and how they were formed. While not as large as other caves, like Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, it was well worth the trip. The tour lasted for a little under an hour and was easy to traverse. Colored lighting displays the geological features with a dramatic "oooooh" effect. Our tour guide gave ample opportunities to ask questions, take pictures and enjoy the natural beauty that has taken millions of years to form. Both seniors and young children will enjoy this relatively low impact walking experience. There are a few stairs and a short walk to get to the cave, but nothing too exertive,

I've toured a ton of caves and this cave was amazing. The colored lighting throughout was on point. It was a challenging walk as the cave is really big and sometimes the rock ceilings are low so you have to crouch a lot. It's not very disability friendly in the cave. If you can't see well and can't crouch down or don't have good balance it's probably better to visit the museum but I think most who do caves expect a fun challenging walk.
Our cave guide, Logan, was really good. He's fairly new and seemed a lil unsure of himself at first but he kept the tour moving along and made us all laugh throughout the tour. He was really good. The only drawback was the tour infront of us wasn't moving along and we caught up with them and ended up in one big group which quickly changed the quality of our tour (the other tour guide seemed too young and inexperienced to handle the rambunctious kids in his group). But the cave itself was awesome and I highly recommend visiting it. And Logan gave us a wonderful tour.

The Caverns are quite impressive and the guided tours are a fun experience. You'll learn a lot about the formation of the caves, the history, and bats! There's a few trails around the park and Blue Hole Springs is just a short drive north

Best Place to visit in North Florida for the Caverns. The camping site is pretty good with the Blue Hole Springs nearby(Just behind the camping site). Had a blast time. Several hiking trails alongside the river. Caverns is bigger than what I have expected inFlorida.

We love Florida State Parks. This is one that we have not visited before. We only had a few hours to burn and we visited the caves. So worth visiting if you are short on time or have the whole day to spend. There is camping available at this park.

This place is an excellent example of the varying geology in the state of Florida. Our tour guide, John, thoroughly explained the theories behind the cave formation, the process of the CCC excavation, and how the means that the park puts in place to help preserve the integrity of the caves. Thank you, John, for the exceptional tour!
