Hands down the BEST place to eat when in this area!!!! I had the shawarma and my wife had the Moussaka…… both were amazing! My sons got the cheeseburgers and fries and both devoured them! The fries are not frozen fries they appeared to be and tasted like fresh cut fries! I cannot over state how awesome the service and food both were! The owners themselves are some of the kindest people you’ll meet!

The drinks, food, and desserts are absolutely outstanding in flavor! Delicious! The customer service has never been anything less than outstanding! Lastly, the atmosphere is so relaxing and home feeling! I love EVERYTHING about this restaurant 😍

It's truly a gem in Marianna, FL. And all the great reviews about this place do not lie. I drove over an hour just to try some Mediterranean food and I was extremely glad I did. It was raining quite heavily when we got here. The place looks clean and spacious inside. The lights were a little dim. We got the booth by the window with the view of the rain hitting the windows and the cars passing by in the rain on the highway next to the restaurant. We ordered the Mashawy soup, which was house soup with chicken, rice and some herbs in it. It was good for the weather. Next we ordered the signature lamb chops and they were absolutely amazing. The lamb chops were grilled superbly well and had balanced flavors of pepper and aromatic spices. It just tasted juicy and succulent. The basmati rice was filled with flavors of saffron. The pita bread was great, too. And I absolutely loved the hummus. It was fresh and it tasted beautiful with the olive oil. I highly recommend the dish. We ordered Konafa for dessert. It was one of the best desserts I have had in a while. It was served hot. Its rich buttery creamy taste with pistachios was just heavenly. Every bite was filled with greatness. We concluded our meal with hot tea, the Mashawi tea. It was perfect for the weather and tasted great with cinnamon and other spices. Sami and his wife have got a great place here. Highly recommended!!!!

As I sat waiting for service with my daughter, I almost decided to leave. There was nothing wrong I just had flashes of some food nightmare show in my mind as I noted all the elderly in the restaurant. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE!!

This place was wonderful! The food was great! This was one of those local hidden gems.

Visiting the area and saw all the good reviews so we decided to stop in. We were not disappointed. Portion sizes were ok. When the food tastes good you can always eat a little more. 😁 Definitely would recommend.

Wonderful family experience and family owned. Owners greet and share the food experience before you try. I will be returning soon.

Located right by the Florida Caverns. We stopped by based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and fresh! Service was prompt and owner spent time with all the customers making sure all was going well. My husband and I got the two person platter (variety of their meats) and our three kids got the gyros, ate off of our platter, and had the baklava/Nadya for dessert. They loved every bite! This place is an absolute gem and even though we live two hours away, we will definitely be back!

We went a little out of our way to try this place. We're glad we did. My wife, my 2 small children and myself all enjoyed our food. The restaurant was nice, clean and generally pleasant. The food was very very good too! I am happy that we drove a little further down the road than we needed to go to try something new and different. We'll be going back for sure!!

Regretfully I didn't take more pictures of the food that our party ordered, only the Turkish coffee I ordered. Marianna is blessed to have such a unique dining experience. I have more to do in the area soon and am looking forward to supporting this business on my next trip with other friends who also appreciate authentic Middle Eastern/Mediterranean fare. Highly recommend.

Food: exquisite... everything was tender, flavorful, exciting with authentic flavors.

Service: Welcoming. Friendly. Food was prepared before I took my second sip of water!

Atmosphere was very nice. Definitely a GREAT mom and pop shop with delicious Turkish food.

There are no words that even come close to describing how incredible Mashawy is. My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The owners showed us how to eat Mediterranean food (with your hands!) and which sauces to use. We must have tried some of everything. It was all so delicious. They even brought us dessert with Turkish tea, which was the perfect finish to a perfect meal. I only wish our photos did the food justice. Highly recommend this restaurant. Good people, good food.

Best restaurant within fifty miles. And if you need a home built talk to the owner. I cannot explain enough how amazing the food is here.

We felt at home eating at Mashawy and cannot wait to return. The food was delicious and very well seasoned. The service was great, and the restaurant clean.

What a wonderful experience! Sami is SUPER friendly and his HUGE smile made us feel right at home! He also makes EXCELLENT suggestions if you aren't familiar with the menu. The lamb chops are DEFINITELY worth the hype! Perfectly cooked, not overly seasoned, and VERY flavorful! The prices are VERY reasonable and portions are GENEROUS! The appetizers and desserts were all excellent! The house-brewed beer was very light, crisp, and delicious! We drove over an hour to try it...we LOVED it and will DEFINITELY be back!

Absolutely loved everything about this place, from the amazing food to the piano player! It was mine and my husband's anniversary dinner and Mike, the owner was amazing through and through. He had his friend in there helping and she was just as sweet as can be!

If you want to try Mediterranean food that tastes like home cooked meal, this is the place to be. Lots of vegetarian choices (I'm one) and everything we ordered tasted great. My buddy ordered seafood and he said it was awesome.
We tried everything, appetizer, soup, main course, dessert and coffee. Close your eyes and pick anything on the menu and you cannot go wrong.

We had the Lamb Chops and Chicken Kabobs and they were outstanding. The mixed appetizer was also excellent. The owner (Sami) is very personable and helpful with the menu. It was not crowded and our food was on the table quickly. I highly recommend Mashawy restaurant.

Absolute must go! The food was really good! If you haven't tried any of the Turkish, Moroccan, or their own blend of tea or coffee I would highly recommend it! The Nadya is an amazing dessert!

Above and beyond that the owner is one of the best humans I have met! Super friendly and made sure everything was great! We plan on making the trip several more times from Orlando to come here though we may try and get him to come to Orlando!
