The Goddard School of Kent

Our two boys have been going to the Goddard school in Kent for a little over a year now. We’ve had a great experience with all the teachers, the front office staff, the director Jen and the owner Chelsey. Each morning when I drop off the boys, they greet every kid and parent at the front by name, which has always impressed me. There is an upbeat energy as soon as you walk in that sets the tone for the rest of the day. This summer they had so many fun activities for the kids, our favorite being the foam party (or maybe the dizzy bus). The school is clean and safe, which is extremely important to us. All around they are 10/10, and have my highest recommendation.

My daughter loves this school, teachers are kind and patient, very supportive of her and our schedule! Teachers are so kind and they go above and beyond and it shows! All staff is very friendly and they make you feel welcomed! Her teachers Ms. Barb and Mrs. Jatinder made her feel a part of the class from day one even though she joined mid year! I’m grateful I found them and for sure my little one will be going here as well!

We’ve been really happy with the care here at the Goddard Kent school. The staff is wonderful, the classrooms are clean and bright, the kids always have a variety of activities and planned curriculum. They celebrate ALL cultures in a really wonderful positive and kid friendly way. If ever you have a question or concern the staff is so open and on top of it. They have conferences and anonymous surveys. Good communication. The owner is wonderful, the front desk staff is wonderful and of course the teachers are amazing. Really happy our child is attending and will till they reach kindergarten. ♥♥♥♥

As I watched the Goddard school of Kent being built from the ground up, I know that I wanted to be a part of this education foundation. Being the first hired teacher here, I consider this school to be my second home. I am grateful for all the staff, management group and above all, our owner Ms. Chelsey Milton for guiding us to do our best. Under her leadership, we are always motivated to do our best and she makes us feel like a family. She goes above and beyond for all her staff. I am truly grateful to work with her. I am also grateful for all the parents for trusting us with their little ones. I highly recommend Goddard school of Kent for our future generation. We love and adore our students and parents, they are our main focus. And being a part of this team that believes in educational excellence, it makes working everyday a blessing.

My son has thrived since he has become apart of the Goddard School Pre-K 2 classroom! He is more confident in who he is and what ideas he wants to share! I'm impressed with his team of teachers and support teachers who work to build my son up each day with positive experiences!

As a close auntie, my two nephews have been going here for years since they were babies and still are there today. I have to say, I've watched them grow and witness all the skills they've developed so far and a lot of those skills come from what they're learning at this school! I've heard so many cool and lovely stories from my family (their parents) and you can tell the kids really enjoy the activities with other kids and with their teachers there.

As a member of the administrative staff, I love working with my amazing faculty and families at the Goddard School of Kent. Our owner, Chelsey Milton, responds and appreciates my feedback in regards to situations pertaining to the school. I love that I am trusted and my opinion is valued. Most of all, I value the love and support of our amazing families. The smiles and the laughter and the hugs I receive on a daily basis validates my position at the school. 🥰

The Goddard School is great, we are so thankful our little one is enrolled. The staff are professional and have the best interest of the kids in mind. The facility is safe, secure and very clean! The Goddard School of Kent is a cut above the rest when it comes to child care facilities.

A year and and eight days ago, I was given the astonishing opportunity to become a teacher at the Goddard School of Kent. After twenty years away from the teaching profession, the amazing owner, Chelsey Milton, took a chance on me. It didn’t matter that I had never worked with children so young. It didn’t matter that my experience and expertise in education was at a different age level. What mattered to her was my drive, my passion…my love for the children. And honestly, that is what this school is all about. While every day is a learning curve, I am so very grateful and blessed to work with a TEAM of friends and colleagues who continuously strive to support, encourage and love me. I was hesitant to enroll my only child at a daycare / school and took 6 plus months and was ready to give up. I had a friend that recommended the Goddard School in Kent. I gave it a try and it has been the best decision I have made for my child. The teachers are awesome!

My son has been here since they opened. The teachers are warm and kind and my son loves coming to school. It's almost time to send him off to kindergarten now,and he is well prepared.

We love the Goddard school in Kent. Our son started there as an infant and is thriving. All the teachers and staff are amazing and you can tell they really care for our son. The curriculum is also fantastic, I love seeing the lesson plan and corresponding photos at the end of each day! Would definitely recommend.

I have been looking into schools for my daughter since I will be returning back to work here soon and I have heard nothing but amazing things about The Goddard School in Kent. My 2 nephews attend this exact location and their mom cannot say enough great things about the staff, owner, and their overall experience. I’ve witnessed great communication not only from the owner but from both the boys teachers as well. This has made my decision much easier when picking out a school. It give me peace of mind knowing my family will be welcomed with open arms and my daughter will be well taken care of.

The Goddard school does a great job about helping kids, learn and develop friendships and social skills. My daughter and nephew both attend and love it.

We have had a great experience in the infant and first steps classroom with our youngest and feel they all genuinely love our son. Our oldest has shown a huge improvement since transitioning to the pre-k 2 classroom. We absolutely love all 3 of his pre-k 2 teachers who genuinely care about his well-being and progress. I feel confident each morning when I drop the boys off that they’re being well taken care of and learning so much.

Miss Lakshmi, my nephew’s teacher, is a treasure. Her boundless kindness and affection for the children shine through every day. Her warm smile as she welcomes my nephew sets a positive tone for the day, and the bond they share is heartwarming. Miss Lakshmi not only nurtures their emotional well-being but also provides excellent academic preparation.
The Goddard School has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It's a place where children flourish academically and emotionally, and parents and aunts can trust that their little ones are in capable and caring hands. Our experience at this toddler classroom has been truly delightful, and we are grateful to Chelsey, Miss Lakshmi, and the entire Goddard School team for creating an exceptional learning environment.

If I could give Goddard Kent 5+ stars I would! This is the BEST school with the most amazing staff and owner. We are new parents and had a very hard time finding a good and safe school for our son after transitioning from in-home care for the first year with our nanny. Goddard Kent has been a breath of fresh air for our family. My son feels so welcome everyday (literally they greet him by name every morning lol) and receives top of the line care from everyone he encounters! If you are a parent unsure on where to send your child, look no further!

Goddard Kent is a great school. It is very organized and clean. My son is on the spectrum and Goddard was very accommodating and never made me feel like my son was different. The staff is great at communicating and finding solutions to help the kids succeed. I could call anytime and a staff member would be more than happy to give me an update on my son or transfer me to the classroom. I highly recommend Goddard, as a parent you will feel your child is safe, welcomed, and taken care of.
