Food was incredible, wish I had tried it sooner! I ordered the New York strip which was supposed to be 12 oz, and received an 18 oz with no up charge. Steak was honestly the best steak I’ve had and was cooked perfectly! My wife had the jorge’s chicken and upon first bite said it was the best bite of food she’s ever had. We had also ordered the soup de jour which was a ribeye French onion and the bacon jam crostinis which were also great. The peach cobbler was also delicious and was a great cap to the night! Will be going back regularly!

Excellent food and customer service! I ordered the hummus and Jorge's Chicken Garcia which was delicious! My husband tried the special, Chicken & Grits which was amazing! Our waiter Michael was the best. The service he provided was above anything we expected. We can't wait to come again.

I have ate here probably 20 times. It’s always very good. I have steaks perfectly could a few times.
There egg rolls are always good. They have the best ranch. The chicken piccata is always fantastic. The scallops are melt in your mouth. Needless to say this places is very good!

Wow wow wow!!! My husband and I are proud food snobs. We travel for his work so we love finding new restaurants in different states. The Salt Block did NOT disappoint!! Small cozy place. Atmosphere is A+, Service is A+, our waitress was amazing & the chef even came out to talk which is amazing. But the real winner is the FOOD. I mean all the way down to the desert was amazing. The BEST steaks we’ve ever tried and were from Texas 💁‍♀. We will definitely be back!!

The food was amazing as was the service. I ordered the pork loin thinking it was going to be 3-4 slices - it was the entire pork loin. Amazing amount of food for the price point. It was very flavorful and tender. One of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was great. We also had the hummus and it was very good. You can tell it was homemade. I would recommend this restaurant over and over. Our server, Michael was simply amazing and I just love his personality and the way he took care of us. My brother and sister-in-law are from out of town and I wanted to make sure they had this dining experience before they went home. They loved it!

Inconspicuous and modest on location, prominent and bold on flavor. The location gives an air of a mom and pop diner, but the cuisine is full-on upscale steakhouse at its finest. The rotating menu options keeps things fresh while the quality keeps you coming back for more.
The host staff were friendly and accommodating, wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable, the chef made the meal worth the trip.
Recommend calling to make reservations and arriving a few minutes early to find parking. Thankfully most of the surrounding shops are closed by the time it opens.

This is a wonderful place to eat. The food is always Top Quality and Never disappoints. The portions are very filling.

We have the Pork tenderloin and Jorge's Chicken dish plus the pita chips and hummus dip appetizer. That is our go to dish here and it is delicious.

This place is definitely worth a try.

Best steak I’ve ever had in my life. The steak cut like butter. The chef was very kind and came and talked to us.

Finally got to go to the Salt Block last night and it did not disappoint. Food was Amazing!! we had the Ribeye and the Scallops. Very comparable to larger high end steak houses like Ruth's Chris and Charlie's but better because its local. A couple of changes would make it perfect. Need more comfortable seating and it the temperature in the restaurant was very cold. Lighting was great and relaxing. I highly recommend

We held a team dinner celebration, and they excelled in ensuring we had an incredible time! Their hospitality was exceptional, and the food was delectable. We were thoroughly enjoying ourselves, losing track of time and unintentionally stayed past closing time (apologies for that!), yet they never once made us feel unwelcome. Highly recommend! If I could leave a 10 star review I would!

This is truly a hidden gem. The food and service were amazing. If you are anywhere near Marianna, FL, you must experience - you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve heard great things about the Salt Block. Went for the 1st time last night, my son n law wanted to try the special which was duck. I got a filet. It did not disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection. And our server, Alexis was incredible!! Can’t wait to go back. The Salt Block is definitely an absolute gem we have here in Marianna.

The steak was made the way we like it. The plate presentation was like on the food shows. Low lights with a candle on the table. The service is wonderful. The chef even came out to see how everything was and he even mingled with the other guests.

I have been to The Salt Block a few times now. My husband compares the steak to the quality of Ruth’s Chris steaks. Tonight I enjoyed the bloody mary soup, shrimp pesto, and creme brûlée. My 8 year old had a “kids meal” of sautéed chicken and pumpkin cheesecake. Great service and food is fresh and high quality. It is nice to have a higher end restaurant in the area to enjoy!

Our first time here and it was fantastic! It is not inexpensive, but if you want a fine dining meal in Marianna, this is your place.

This has to be by far the best food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant.
My husband and I decided to treat ourselves and I’m so glad we did.
We started the meal with an appetizer, Chef’s choice egg rolls which were Buffalo chicken and they were out of this world delicious!!
I tried making them myself the following day and let me tell you, they weren’t even close to the same.
I ordered Jorge’s Chicken Garcia for my entree, which is the best fried chicken, seriously amazing!
My husband ordered the 16 oz ribeye and he said it was the best steak he had ever eaten.
The sides were delicious as well to say the least.
The service was exceptional and we both loved the simple but elegant ambiance of the restaurant.
We CANNOT wait to go back. It was worth every dime!!

The food was amazing. Pictured is the chicken piccata. I highly reccomend. The wait for the food was LONG, though it does say on the menu that the food is prepared fresh and there would be a wait. Portions were perfectly sized. Friendly staff. Take your spouse and leave the children behind.

When you want an especially fantastic meal, Salt Block is the place! Friday and Saturday, reservations are a MUST! Make sure you have time and money😉 (this is top quality cuisine, with surprisingly ample servings, no ritzy tiny portions here!) Savor each course, because on a Saturday night, large parties back up the kitchen, but every bite is worth the wait. Great wines (Riesling & Bordeaux) , incredible entrees (we had ribeyes and Veal Piccata) and yummy desserts (Salted Caramel Cheesecake was phenomenal; Lemon Cake delightful, and Crème Brûlée delicious.) Brittany was delightful and attentive. We got our “time zones” confused and they were kind enough to seat us an hour early! Salt Block is our new “go to” special meal restaurant. (Sorry, no pics)

It was a slow night for them in the middle of the week but I was not at all treated like it was a slow night. The chef was at his best and is top notch. The wait staff was attentive and helpful, especially with selecting the best meal according to my preferences. I’m a nutshell everything wax the best (and I’m seriously not exaggerating): the filet mignon wax the best I’ve ever had, the green beans and smashed potato sides were the best, and the hummus and pita chips were also the best I’ve ever had. And the wine selection was good. I ordered wine by the glass that tasted amazing and was perfect for my meal. I ordered dessert to go out of pure curiosity. They had me at mascarpone. And yes it. was amazing also. All in all they were all very nice and professional. They take a lot of pride in their art.

BEST IN JACKSON COUNTY. Please pardon my 'yelling,' but we came here for the first time this evening (9/4/19) with great expectations only to have them exceeded. The wife and I both had the filet mignon, I with a Cajun garlic bearnaise that is indescribably delicious (I usually will add salt and nothing else because this cut of steak shouldn't need anything else). I'm not big on potatoes, but the garlic mashed potatoes are out of this world. Grilled tiny asparagus were perfect and Lea & Perrins sauteed mushrooms were a delightful surprise. We were full, but not bursting, and ever so glad our server (a delightful, attentive young woman) talked us into creme brulee; I've never had it before, but my wife's been enjoying this dessert since the '60s, and she proclaimed it, "The best I've ever had." Am I running on? Give The Salt Block a try, and you'll be just as enthusiastic! Be sure to make reservations.
