Sawmill Campground

Have been to may gay resorts. This is definitely one of the nicer places. Good food, good drinks, friendly service. Nice planned events. 3 pool tables, which we enjoy very much. Returning next winter. Only wish list, hot tub, sauna, steam room, exercise room.

We had the best time at Chicks in the Sticks! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. We rented one of the “luxury” cabins and it was perfect for a quick weekend! The pool was warm and having the DJ poolside was a huge plus. Dallas is the best bartender!! Having yummy food and drink onsite for purchase made it so we never had to leave.

Very clean property! The maintenance crew are awesome and keep everything very clean. Entertainments were a blast! We visit every few months and never have a bad time! Thank you to the maintenance crew who work very hard!!

Sawmill had its swimming pool water heated to 88 degrees. I was in heaven! The nachos with chunks of chicken were delicious and had large chips that were light as air but still strong enough to hold the cheese and meat when you lifted each one to your mouth. Each of the other guests said "hi' when I walked by and were eager to answer questions about this campground. David the handsome bartender was especially helpful. 😃

I love this place!!! The ladies in the store are 100% amazing!!! All the employees are great really and the location and everything about this place just is perfect!!! While there we seen people from all walks of life just getting to know each other and it was just amazing too have a place bring everyone together even more so in these times!!! I look forward to tons of more visits!

This was our 5th trip to the resort, and the changes they are making are noticeable. We'll definitely be back for another stay.

Nice place with plenty of entertainment. Staff are great! Luis is amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay extra enjoyable!

Went for Christmas and had an amazing time. The staff was very friendly and all the amenities were clean. I can not wait to go back!!

I knew a lot of people I've been coming here for years most of my friends have passed away I would like to get back and stop visiting again keep up the good work guys

Loved it! Had a fantastic Thanksgiving camping trip, we camped so I can't rate the rooms.

Saw JD today for a haircut and was totally surprised! He spent extra time with me talking about my hair and styling. He is a great, and the haircut was amazing! Takes his time and makes sure you’re happy.

My 5 star review is ONLY about the New Spa. They offer a variety of services such as Massages, several different types from Deep massage, Swedish, facials, haircuts and much more. Very professional and knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed. Just had my massage and I feel wonderful. I have lower back pain and he concentrated on that area and it’s still pain free several hours later. Great Job!

Great place. Super friendly staff and guests. Just tell the abnoxious shareholders that drive around on carts trying to police unnecessarily to f off. They are obnoxious and very off-putting. Bald guy in 70's with red seats on cart, just ignore him he will ruin your day if you let him

My friend and I had a blast this past weekend at sawmill. Is a lot of fun, the guests and staff are nice and friendly, the drinks are amazing (I suggest the tekila sunrise), the food was delicious. (Try the quesadilha and rice with chicken.) I loved the experience. 🥰😍

We just got back from a 3 day - 2 night - stay at Sawmill. We had a great time. We were there We’d night and Thurs night and left Friday morning. Since it was our first time and not knowing what to expect, we thought we would go during the week but be there leading up to the weekend.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness. Sheets and towels passed out test. The pool area was clean and organized as well as the grounds that we saw. We had a bit of pre-visit communications with the office staff and they were so nice and helpful.

We ate every meal at the pool side restaurant and was very pleased with the food and prices. FYI - pancakes on the breakfast menu were almost as good as what you find at Cracker Barrel.

The bartenders - Ace, Simeon, and David were all so nice and friendly. Just awesome. And the handmade Long Islands were very smooth. I don’t do the premix stuff.

All in all we were very pleased with our stay and met some really nice guys. We will be returning again soon.

And yes, what we saw was that the whole property was pretty much available for clothing optional. Which was something I enjoyed.

Amazing crowd, very welcoming loved doing business with the community. Very supportive.
