Cafe Veloce

This is my goto place for Italian food in the Seattle area. I have been here multiple times and it has never gone wrong. Love the black bean soup, caprese, pesto olive bread for appetizers. They have a wide range of vegetarian pastas which you can also customize. The Mediterranean pasta is also great! Must try!

Delicious food with an authentic Italian touch. The ambience is fantastic too, with a lot of effort put into the interiors and wall art. Lots of variety on the menu with both pizza and pasta options. Highly recommend.

Visited this place for restaurants week! Enjoyed my meal and especially lasagna was really good! I will definitely come back for their regular menu meal to see if they are worthy 👌👌

I am Italian and not easily impressed! Cafe Veloce on my opinion is the best in all areas. We recommend them with confidence you will be pleased. Also, they have another location called Pizza Bank that is also excellent.

Great and friendly service. The place was full, but plenty of help inside and on the patio. The garlic cheese bread and sauce was fantastic, as was the bolognese (my wife and I split) and pizza ( my son gave us a piece). Only one kind of “by the glass” red blend wine but it was good enough for a second. Now they’ve gone and done it… I have to go back and try the lasagna and everything else!

I'm very particular about Italian food. The flavor and consistency of the marinara, the freshness of the bread, the amount of cheese, and the quality of the pasta are all important. Cafe Veloce does it just right for my taste. And they do it with a friendliness that is above and beyond what you'll generally receive elsewhere.

This is a gem of an Italian place in totem lake Kirkland. Rarely do I think that meals are fairly priced, but this place is it. You get decent portions, amazing drinks, and delicious meals. I love their limoncello spritz and shrimp scampi. Cafe Veloce truly exudes the essence of the Italian spirit. Will be back again!

Amazing service, and great food. Our server was very attentive, and frequently checked in on us to make sure everything was well.
While the food tasted great and is worth the cost, it was not what I would classify as amazing. Each dish was missing a detail or two, such as the noodles being a hair too overcooked, or the Bolognese being too tomato heavy. Likewise with the tiramisu, a little heavy on the chocolate drizzle.

Overall a great experience, and a restaurant I would return to.

What a great place! Mikaelyn took care of us. She had great suggestions and was very attentive! We had the lemon cello spritzer, nice and refreshing! She brought us out their bread and an amazing compound butter!!! Enjoy the cards they are worth it. We had the Caprese Panini, and the meatball Panini and the pasta for lunch. (Sorry don’t remember the name of the past.pasta.) We sat on the patio. Will definitely be back for dinner. The wine selection looked amazing.

Wow. Had take out many times from here but this was our first time dining in at this local institution. Just got to say this was awesome. It’s homely, family friendly and great service. The food (beef and Gorgonzola and la buona Donna pasta dishes) were tasty, big helpings of comforting Italian food. And the pike brewing draft beer was good as well. Highly recommended.

The minute I walked into the door I was pleased. The entire restaurant smelled delicious and the place was decorated with all kinds of motorcycle memorabilia. My waiter was pleasant and attentive, and the food was amazing.

A family favorite for a very long time! We love pasta in our house, and Veloce never disappoints. It's a great location with lots of other businesses nearby, the decor is cute and quirky at the same time, and the staff is always amazing.

Found this Italian, hole in the wall restaurant. I cannot fully describe how wonderful this place is. Most authentic, fresh and most delicious Italian food I have ever had. I am Italian and it has been a struggle to find genuine Italian food until now. The atmosphere was inviting, warm and relaxing. Our waitress, Kathryn was kind, extremely helpful and attentive. Food was beyond compare. Prices were more than fair for the generous portions you get. We will definitely be returning.

Love the setup, the old bikes. Love the vibe!! We live a few miles from the place and visit a few times a quarter on a walk. This place has only gotten better. Our kids love the gnocchi and complementary bread and garlic butter 😜.

I have seen this restaurant forever, but finally went today. I was missing out! They have a great menu with many things I wanted to try, I chose Beef Gorgonzola and it was delicious!

The wait time was good, staff very helpful and attentive, food Excellent, atmosphere great and plenty of free parking. We had chicken parm, Dungeness scallopini and kids cheese pizza. It was all very good quality amd plentiful. Flavors were really nice. They also serve complimentary bread with an herb butter that is really nice. It's kid friendly and they have a kids menu with crayons. We will be back.

Food was really good! Service had a few hiccups but nothing too major. First cocktail I got was really good! The second one I ordered was a tom collins and it tasted nothing like a tom collins but it was still drinkable just more tart than normal.

Excellent Italian eatery with a super cool Italian Motorcycle racing vibe. So happy we stopped here while traveling with our two kids.

Wonderful place and one of the best places to eat in the Kirkland area.

Food is always rich and flavorful no matter what you order and there is a good selection with emphasis on pasta and pizza.

The interior is has a good mixture of dark wood and motorcycles and even a fireplace. You get a nice warm family feeling when you are here.

Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about menu items from food to wine. Has both good wine and beer selections.

Parking can be difficult every now and then, but usually you can find a spot.

Most of the time you get right in, but there has been a couple of times we had a bit of a wait. Not more than 10 minutes.

Best dish to me their Beef and Gorgonzola.

Looking for a place half way between Renton and Everest, Totem Lake seem reasonable and it was well worth the trip. Meatball panini was excellent. Caesar salad, spaghetti, lasagna and chop salad were all very good too. Definitely a place to go back to.
