I would highly recommend the Delray Spine Institute to anyone who is experiencing sciatic and back pain. From my first appointment in September of 2016 through today, Dr. Edward Chung and the staff have been extremely caring and concerned with my healing after having had gone through necessary disc surgery with them. I cannot express enough how attentive they've been to my ongoing care. At my follow-up appointments, each person I engage with is friendly, asks how I 'm feeling, and I never feel as though I'm being rushed in and out the door. Dr. Chung always takes his time speaking with me, going over my recovery and asking questions about specific concerns I may have. Definitely a 5-Star facility!

Just recently I was made aware of having 3 bulging disks and 1 herniated disk in my neck. The pain is excruciating!! Anyway, I came here after a recent automobile crash and the staff and Dr. Chung have been very pleasant and welcoming! They are professional and Dr. Chung listens. Sometimes there is a long wait and sometimes no wait at all, but a busy office usually means the doctor is doing something right; and I believe he's a very knowledgeable and professional doctor. I recently received an epidural in my neck, and the man who did it did a fine job, but unfortunately it worked for only about a week. I must say though, it felt AMAZING in that week to not have the pain as I did. It works different for everybody, and this was explained to me prior to receiving the epidural. Everything, from the first visit, has been discussed thoroughly with understanding. I recommend Dr. Chung to anyone who is looking for a great doctor who is knowledgeable in his field. I actually just recently referred one of my clients to Dr. Chung, and she, too, was very impressed. The best to all of us who suffer from spinal pain!

Dr Chung and his staff are one of the best experiences I have had after dealing with a bad car accident that left me with 6 herniations. The first doctor I went to did the first round of cortisone injections in an out patient surgury facility, I had to take The entire day off work, get Anastasia, and be under while they did these minor injections. It's either because the first doctor didn't have the staff of equipment needed to do the procedure, or he wanted to make as much money as possible from
The insurance company. This rubbed me
The wrong way and I asked my attorney for a referral who sent me to the spine institute of south Florida.

Everything that was done with Dr. Chung and his associates was professional, timely and I felt
They had a general interest in my well being. The injections took 5 minutes In and out of the office with no issues at all.

Most surgeons all they want to is surgery. Dr. Chung clearly stated that if there is not a 70-90% chance or better that the surgury will improve my quality of living then he will not operate. This was genuine and we ultimately ended up finding out through another associate of his that the nerves around the facet bones were the cause of my problem. We did the ablasion treatment and now my pain is virtually gone

These guys are top notch and I just referred my fiancé there because I wouldn't want her to go anywhere else.

If you are considering anything related to your spine don't risk going anywhere else. This is the place you want to go. 100%

For close to 20 years I have suffered with lower back pain with herniated disc along with Sciatica on and off. Cortisone and Epidurals not longer helped with the pain. I saw Dr Edward Chung who performed a microdisctomy 3 months ago and now I'm totally pain free. Words cannot thank Dr Chung enough for giving me back the quality of life. Thank you Dr Chung. I’ve read most of the negative reviews and I must say I beg to defer. The office staff is VERY friendly and the doctors are amazing. If you have back issues like myself this is the doctors office you need to go! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great doctor. Waited a bit long to be seen but the visit was very efficient and detailed and helpful.

Great customer service and very friendly

I've been to office a few times and can't say I've had any of the bad experiences that others have. On first visit the waiting room was quite full but I've experienced that in almost every doctor's office I've ever been to. The office waiting area may need updating but it was clean and comfortable and had a TV on as well. I did have to wait awhile but again I've experienced that everywhere I've been to practically for first visits. I met with Dr. Chung and he was quite nice and professional. My next few visits were with other doctors providing pain injections. When I scheduled appointments for the injections with the office staff they were very helpful in scheduling faster wait time appointments for me so I could be quickly accommodated during my work lunch break. Overall my patient experience has been comfortable. The staff and doctors seem genuinely concerned with my issues and I am happy with their services.

UPDATE: They have dropped the charges. It would be nice for them send an apology letter for all the time they took to fix this simple error the same way they were mailing me all those billing statements.

FINANCIALLY NEGLIGENT.

The quality of service Dr. Chung has provided got the job done 👍🏻. What I am not ok with is the fact that they continue charging me for something I shouldn’t be charged. They have been sending me the same bill for almost a year now and another day I got a letter saying they will have a collection agency to go after me if I don’t pay.

I called them over 5 times in the past year to handle this. The first 3 times, they said the same thing, “if you don’t hear from us, you will be ok.” I kept getting the billing notices. After I got the last notice of the collection agency coming after me, I called them back to find out their billing department is on a 2-hour lunch break and no one can help. I gave a call back the next day to find out that the person who can make the changes to my account is gone and no one knows when she will be back.

Not sure what to do at this point but hope they will see this review and act on it.

I will not come back here. I give it a 2 because I liked the few minutes I spent with Dr Chung.

I was told my next appointment was on Monday. I made mental notes about the day to make sure I remembered it. I was handed a piece of paper and told to follow the instructions. I immediately made special arrangements to be here on Monday.

The written instructions they gave me for my injection appointment had the date, not the day. I trusted they coincided.

I called to verify the location, because the address was not listed on the instruction sheet and I noticed the Drs listed on the instruction sheet we're not the same as the Drs on my Rx. I was not made aware that I needed to go elsewhere, but since someone else was sending me via Uber, I wanted to make sure.

My appointment was at 1, and I got the answering service. When I explained my confusion, I was told they didn't know and to call back after lunch.

I explained, again, and I was told I could just Google the address.

I explained, AGAIN. And was put on hold. She came back and said she was disconnected, and would call them back and I was then disconnected.

I took a chance and came to this office.

When I arrived, I was advised that my appointment was for Wednesday. They said they told the answering service to tell me.

ThenAnd they reprinted the instruction sheet and pointed out the date to me. I have no idea what the date is, other than the month and year. I know the day is Monday. Never was the word, Wednesday brought into the original conversation.

I was told to come back Wednesday or to reschedule. They were booked for the day. I'm writing this as I Uber home. I'll copy and paste it to other review sites.

I don't trust a doctor who surrounds themselves with a staff that could care less about their patients.

DO NOT GO THERE !!!! THEY ARE RUNNING A LITTLE SCAM WHERE THEY SAY YOU ARE IN NETWORK AND TURN AROUND AND BILL YOU FOR OUT OF NETWORK LIVING ME WITH $607.00 BILL!!!! I CONTACTED THEIR OFFICE AND THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE --- MY LEGAL DEPARTMENT IS TAKING CARE OF THE FRAUD!!!!

I’ve never been charged so much in my life for a doctor to tell me something that I already knew. I came to this facility, hoping that the specialist can help resolve my back pain. Instead the doctor looked at my x-rays, Had me stretch for him and refers me to a chiropractor. Then a month later this office has the audacity to send me a $625 bill. Worst part is you can’t even get to any staff over the phone to pay the bill. To whoever is reading this from the bottom of my heart, please save your time and go somewhere else.
