Banana Boat

Location is unbeatable, nice view by the bay.
Menu is very simple however, all the dishes were nicely delivered.
Especially my pasta was excellent with the tasty baby basil leaves and big fresh scallops!
Definitely american portion, we had to share the desserts haha.
Warm and nice service.

We came down to visit my brother and this was our first stop for a meal. And it was wonderful, the bartender served our food and chatted with us. And the food was absolutely wonderful. And the staff were so nice, if you're looking for a place to kick back and have a great meal and some friendly conversation Along with a fabulous view., make sure you stop here.

I have been to a lot of places to eat, and this place here I would have to put in my favorites.
The service, food, and atmosphere are great. My girlfriend and I set outside at the bar, and the Male bartender was great. I couldn't ask for a better service, and the drinks were on point. It was on the pricey$$ side but well worth it. I'm looking forward to going back.

We eat all over Delray and Boynton, and this is our "Local" happy place. Food is always good and there is something for everyone. Service is quick and friendly. The view is beautiful and on the water. The atmosphere is sophisticated beachy. There are nights with live music and are two huge bars. One inside and one outside. In the winter, there are heat lamps on the outside deck and wind windows.

Overall a great place to eat and hang out.

We had a great time here, weather is getting better and it's enjoyable sitting outside. Lots of boats passing by. Great atmosphere for spending an evening out. They have live music as well.

Service was great, everyone was polite and courteous!

My husband and I went in for lunch lunch today. The coconut shrimp was delish and we always order the same thing. Grilled salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus. They had green beans and broccoli instead, so I went with the green beans. My husband had the mahi tacos. Both meals were DELICIOUS! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the green beans were just right. Tender enough with a bite. Drinks were great as well. Our compliments to the chef. Thank you for a great meal! Truly 10/10.

This place is one of our favorites in SE Florida. We have celebrated special occasions here and come away delighted every time. Today's occasion was just to enjoy the pleasant weather. We made a lunch reservation for the patio and were fortunate to get a booth directly overlooking the water. The view was the best. Our waiter was excellent in every regard and the food pleased our entire party, which ranged in age from 7 to 90. Parking was easy with both free self-park and valet options available. We've come here other times without reservations and were always accommodated, but it takes a while. The reservation could be made online and was easy enough.

We had the best time at Banana Boat last Saturday afternoon. The hostess sat us at a table by the water where boats are able to dock. We ate early at 4pm and that made the difference to get the great table. The food was tasty and the drinks were fun. Try the Dirty Banana - so yummy. I had the crab cake sandwich which was really good. Usually, I get the fish sandwich which is also tasty. We had a steady breeze and were entertained by all the activity on the water:
Jet skis on parade, cigarette speed boats, fishing boats and lots of friendly people. An amazingly fun time.

My husband and I just stopped for a quick lunch. I had a seafood Cobb salad and he had scallops mac’ncheese. My salad was quite large and I could not finish it. The lettuce, avocado and other greens were fresh and the seafood portions generous. My husband reported his meal was “fine”. He’s a man of few words.
We sat overlooking the water and enjoyed watching the bridge being raised to allow boat traffic.

Went here with family to do a little celebration the atmosphere was good they had live music that night which was really good music. They played everything from every error you could think about and also the food was very good. Anything that you needed the waitress she was wonderful and very pleasant and helpful everything was good it was a very good night and if you ever go please hope you enjoy it as much as we did, cause we certainly did we had a fun night.👍🏼😊

Always a positive experience with Banana Boat. Food offerings are unique and delicious. Staff is accommodating, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere, well anywhere on the water is always a perk. Try it! You wont be disappointed.

Not sure why, but the service and food quality has skyrocketed over the last year. We live in Orlando and love the West Palm Beach area. Every month we travel down and always try to get a table on Saturday nights. This last visit was spectacular. Our server was beyond excellent as we're other staff that we're so attentive. And the swordfish special was 5 star!

Great water front location! The service was phenomenal, and the food is very good for a waterfront beach type setting.

It’s been over 20 years since my last time at Banana Boat. My grandfather took us there. It hasn’t changed much and that’s a good thing. We made a reservation through OpenTable as we thought it might be busy and it was. A weekday at 3:15 and there were a few open tables, but by the time we finished our meal I heard the hostess say that there is an open table inside but it would be a long wait for an outside table

Our server was great. She was very attentive and friendly. Our drinks and appetizers came out quickly (soup and a large order of french fries). The meal arrived at the right time and refills of Iced Tea happened twice. My Skinny Margarita was perfect.

The three meals were;

Seafood Cobb (Fresh Greens, Shrimp, Blue Crab, Egg, Bacon, Tomato, Olives, Avocado, Cheddar, Blue Cheese Dressing. $23)

Bronzed Local Mahi (Caribbean Spice, Grilled Sweet Corn and Black Bean Salad, Mojo Vinaigrette, Crispy Plantains, Pineapple Jam. $29)

Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese (Baby Spinach, Dried Tart Cherries, Grilled Red Onion, Candied Pecans, Citrus Vinaigrette, $18)

All of the meals were delicious. The Cobb Salad was large with half going home for the next day.

The Mahi was cooked perfectly. It looked like a small portion but it was quite filling and more than enough. The Roasted Beets salad had both red and golden beets with a generous dollop of goat cheese. The dressing was very complimentary to the beets and greens. My mother took more than half her large Cobb salad home.

I won't wait so long to go back again.

Banana Boat is a gem in Boynton Beach that never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, regardless of your preference. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The riverside view adds to the charm, and my favorite spot is outdoors. The drinks are great, and the service is attentive. I'll definitely be returning for another delightful experience

It's at the end of the pier overlooking the water, boats and pelicans! The food was fantastic. Very well priced. Very busy so not a 1st date type place but a fun place to just enjoy. And yes the banana boat sundae was excellent. Bananas covered in rich chocolate.

The Banana Boat was delicious!! We really enjoyed the spot. Beautiful restaurant on the inter coastal. Great food, drinks, atmosphere and service all around. We were driving up the coast and stumbled across this awesome restaurant in Boynton Beach. I wish we would’ve taken more pictures, but it was a long day of exploring and we were really tired and hungry. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely stop bye for some more food and drinks!!

Sat at the outdoor bar for drinks and brunch. Friendly bartender and great food. Will definitely keep going back! Go early or make a reservation to avoid waiting too long. Have been for dinner as well multiple times. Food is consistently good. Nice waterfront intercostal views.

We visited on Christmas Day. We had a reservation and we were seated early. There was a limited menu for the holiday, but plenty of choices. They also still had a children's menu. Our servers were lovely and attentive. Our food came out quickly and was good. It's fun to sit in different rooms, so I recommend going back a few times.

Sunday afternoon was busy but we were seated quickly. Mahi fish dip appetizer was amazing. Crab cake sandwich - delicious. Atmosphere and service was great to top it off. Be sure to make a stop!
