Plato's Closet

I have been to a couple of Plato's Closets over the years after moving to Florida. It never disappoints. If my daughter (20 years ago) and my granddaughter (4 days ago) were and are excited to shop at a second hand store and delighted with their purchases back then and still to this day you know it's a great place to shop. Both have found items to fill out their wardrobes along with one of a kind pieces that are easy on my wallet. They are happy and so am I ❣

So I just flew in from Texas and I went to multiple Plato's Closets around the Tampa area and out of all the stores I visited this store was hands down the best store. It is extremely organized and the staff did a great job at making me feel welcome and helping me find what I was looking for. All of the clothes in the store were really cute and in style. Also, the prices weren't high at all compared to all of the surrounding stores. This store was actually the first store that took my appreciation/stamp card when all of the other stores didn't. I'm a manager at a Plato's Closet and I couldn't have got better service than I did at this store. Keep up the great work I will definitely be back! :)

I love having a local place to be able to buy and sell. This location has the friendly staff and is very clean. I always feel welcomed into the store regardless if I am there to buy or sell. I recently had family in from out of town and they asked about our Plato’s so I took them. They loved it, they ended up getting 10 very nice name brand clothing for around 100$. This store is highly recommended and I will continue to refer my friends and family

If I'm being honest, Plato's Closet isn't really my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't come her eeihter. The times I've been there are very nice. There's a diverse amount of selections, so I'm sure I'll eventually find some clothes regardless. The employees are so nice and laid back too!

This location is infinitely better than the Largo location. I'm 34 and pregnant and still find things that fit me and are my style. Have bought like 10 dresses over the years which I've received countless compliments on.

This is the nicest Plato's Closet I've been to! The store is very clean and organized, and the clothes are not old or dingy looking. They went through my clothes extremely fast which I appreciated, and the two people working were also really nice. I'll definitely be back!

Plato's closet sells trendy clothes at a cheap price. Not cheaper then goodwill or Salvation Army but still pretty cheap. I got ten items for the price of 75$. Most of the shirts are 5-10$. 10/10, would recommend.

Plato’s Closet St. Pete is my favorite store in St. Pete by far, it doesn’t compare to any stores I go to. The clothes are trendy, cute and so affordable! They sell all kinds of sizes and they have such a variety of clothes and brands. I love to switch my style sometimes and I can find everything I need at Plato’s. I could go from girly to sporty or chic to casual with the variety of clothes they have. My boyfriend and I could also just go to the store together and find nice clothes for the both of us. I like that the store sells slightly used second hand clothes rather then me going to a department store that is involved in fast fashion. I’ve been shopping at Plato’s for several years now and I absolutely love it!

I've been to several Plato's Closet stores in Florida and in Pennsylvania, and this store on Tyrone Blvd, St. Petersburg, is by far the best one! From the minute I walked in the staff,, Kim and James , made me feel welcome and comfortable.. They were helpful without being pushy , and were very knowledgeable about the merchandise. They had a lot of top brands at really AMAZING prices! Most of it looked brand new, and all of it was in excellent condition.
For me, when in the mood for a fashion fix, this is the Plato's Closet I will definitely shop at!!!

What a great Plato’s. There always clean and definitely not one that seems “dirty”. I enjoy going to this one even though there’s one right next to my house. This Plato’s is a lot more friendlier and helpful then the other Plato’s near my house. I enjoy going here as well to get a good price on clothes! Thank you Plato’s of st Pete!

Plato’s closet st.pete is amazing ! All of the staff is so welcoming and helpful and all of the clothes are so trendy and affordable. They offer a great selection of styles and trends as well as sizes. I only buy my jeans at Plato’s closet and no where else because they have exactly what I’m looking for everytime. Definitely one of my favorite stores and you should 100% check them out!

Plato’s Closet of St. Pete is one of the best there is! Trust me, I’ve visited a few. Top notch brands, clean and pleasant shopping experience, all within budget. Employees are quick to help if needed. I’ve always had great selling experiences as well! Did I mention, my boyfriend loves it too! Thrifting is a lifestyle and I support Plato’s Closet!

Myself & my 4 girls have had nothing but great experiences everytime we shop in both Tyrone Plato's & Largo Plato's. On several occasions my 2 older daughters have gone into both locations & have had great customer service. When they bring in clothes they are never turned away but of course businesses cant just except everything, I'm sure if they could except items they would considering it is how they make a living. So my overall rating is nothing but good things considering it's very hard to please every one in the retail business.

I have been to this Platos closet on multiple occasions. I live in palm harbor and I drive to St. Pete just for their selection. They have an amazing and friendly staff that is always willing to help and make your shopping experience with them a breeze. I have also sold many items to them and they are willing to take just about everything in fashion. Their selection of bags, clothes, shoes, and accessories is CRAZY!! Platos closet has everything and anything you could be looking for. Amazing experience and a great company. Well worth my 30-45 minute drive!

I absolutely love everything about platos!! There is just the right amount of variety and it is the perfect option for second hand clothing. I’ve never had a problem with platos, ever! The atmosphere is great and the clothing is clean not to mention the prices are perfect. They not only have second hand clothing options but shoes, jewelry, purses and more:))

I don't even know what all the complaints are for honestly. I have never had a "bad" experience here. If they don't take anything your bringing in its because they are looking for specific brands always check the website to see what they need before bringing in huge bags of clothes...I was just here 2 days ago and they took everything I brought in except for 3 items and they gave a good amount of money for the items they took. You have to understand when it comes to bigger name consignment shops your looking at making about 30% of what they will be selling your items for. The place is mainly advertised for teens so bringing in professional clothing is always a no go as a word of advice.

I have purchased 4 pairs of Nike sneakers here previously. They were all in amazing condition and basically brand new. If I were to purchase these at retail price I can tell you they would have cost me 3 times as much. This store to me is better than most clothing stores. People complaining about the lighting and pricing I absolutely do not understand. I'll keep coming back

Plato’s closet St. Pete is one of my favorite places to shop. Shopping here is so fun because you can find great items for WAY less than you could in other stores!! I always find things to bring home when I go. The staff here is super helpful and friendly and the store is very organized. I definitely recommend trying this place out!!
