H. Griner Funeral Home

I used H. Griner Funeral Home when my husband passed. I do not have family here and went to the funeral home alone for the initial visit. I didn’t know what to expect but they made what I thought was going to be a terrifying experience very comfortable. They were so compassionate and helpful, they made one of the worst experiences of my life manageable and handled me, my young sons and our family with the utmost care. I am so thankful for them and I am thankful this is the funeral home I chose to handle my husband’s arrangements.

Mr. Griner and family provided exceptional services from beginning to end. They took care of my dad like their own, and assisted in many ways. I recommend H. Griner Funeral Home to all as the number 1 in Metro Atlanta.

The genuine care and comforting demeanor that Mr. Griner and his staff provides is why I gave this establishment 5 stars. Mr. Griner wholly understands the grief process and was patient with and consoling to my family as we made final arrangements for my loved one. I knew funeral homes offer pre-need packages, and when I asked Mr. Griner about pre-need, he educated my family and me and then hand-held us through the process, so the tough decisions had already been made. Btw, I strongly advise families to do a pre-need so you're not making the tough decisions in the throes of being grief-stricken. And there was no price-gouging. My family and I shopped around and found the prices at GFH to be reasonable and affordable.

Griner Funeral Home -- which I learned is the first Black funeral home in Fayetteville -- has been serving the community for over 25 years! I attended a viewing at H. Griner Funeral Home. The moment I walked into the location , I was totally impressed. I was met at the door by a professional staff member who showed me exactly where to go. The establishment was immaculate and everything was organized. My visit was during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff made sure that all vistors were practicing social distancing. During this viewing of H. Griner Funeral home was able to live stream the viewing for those that could not attend. The next day I attended the home going services. These services were handled with the upmost professionalism. Again, the staff were attentive to the needs of the family, friends and visitors. I would definitely recommend H. Griner Funeral Home. The establishment has a family setting and they are genuine!!
