We came for my aunts birthday with 11 people and the wait time said 1 hour and it ended up being less. We were seated in well spaced area, the staff were so attentive and friendly even though it was SO busy. The food was so delicious, tasted fresh and amazing. They didn't get any of our orders wrong. Came back regularly to check if we needed anything else and always accomodated any changes. We were extremely impressed at how they handled this busy Saturday night.

We come here almost every weekend. Sounds exaggerated, but it's true. MJ and her fellow staff are so kind and attentive. Our water glasses are always full, our rice is always fresh, and we're asked if we would like more rice midway through the meal. Every dish we've tried has been flavorful and delicious. The cocktails are great as well. We have no complaints and are very thankful to have found this place!

I’ve tried several things on the menu and every single time it is really yummy. A couple of my personal favorites are the boneless chicken biryani and the lamb chops. Highly recommend! It is a bit of an elevated Indian restaurant vibe in there with a full bar so you could go out for a casual meal or even a date. The mango Mojitos and espresso martinis are my favorites!

MJ was our great server. Large portions of great appetizers( we had vegetable pekhora) awesome main dishes and perfectly spiced dhaal for me! My hubby had a chicken biryani, our son had kebobs and salad, and we all enjoyed endless Chai and garlic Naan!! MJ took exquisite care of us, refilling our tea a d water. Great new experience!!

Best authentic Indian food in the Greater Seattle area. Beware of their spice level! Possible long wait during dinner hours.

Their Mild is quite spicy in American standard, mainly because of how Indian spices are used in the base of their curry.
If you are sensitive to heat, make sure to pick curries that are made with less heated spices like Saag, Korma, and Butter Chicken; avoid Vindaloo and Jalfrezi as they are naturally made with lots of warm spices! Imagine asking for a "non spicy ghost pepper," it just isn't made that way!

Overall, Kanishika has the best authentic Indian food in the area imo. The only thing besides their heat level, is their wait time. They can be quite busy during dinner hours because of how delicious their food are!

This food is very tasty! I have to be careful with Indian Food as I am allergic to cashews. The staff were very careful on what they served me and double checked my order.

Some of the staff did not seem to speak very good English but we were able to communicate effectively.

I love the afternoon option where you can select a few different curry’s and it comes with rice, naan bread etc. We were all very full and did not eat a big dinner that night.

They are very clean and provide bottle water and paper table clothes to make sure everything is “sanitary”/. I am not sure if you can make reservations but it does get busy but worth a bit if a wait if there is one!

Wanted to visit Kanishka for a long time, and it didn't disappoint us at all. Every single dish was so delicious and reminded me of the local restaurants I used to dine at regularly in Delhi. Here's what I think about the dishes I ordered:

🥭 Mango Lassi - Absolutely delicious! I had lassi after ages and it was not at all disappointing. The lassi was thick and flavorful.

🍲 Chilli Paneer - Hot and Spicy. The paneer was crispy and drenched in a delicious sauce. Reminded me of the chili paneer I used to have from a Chinese food cart near my office #nostalgiastruckhard

🍲 Non-veg Thali - Worth every penny! One thali is good enough for 2 individuals if you're ordering additional appetizers. The thali has 4 types of curries, an appetizer (Samosa), Rice, Naan, and desserts (gulab jamun).

We ordered Goat Mathiwal, Dal Tadka, Desi Chicken Tikka Masala, and Paneer lababdar. Although the paneer was a bit sweet, the rest of the items were amazing.

The dining area was spacious and well-lit. Our server was extra sweet and cheerful. Overall, we were satisfied with the food and hospitality.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant 🤤

The food was the best part. We ordered a few different appetizer and couple curries. Dahi balla chat was a favorite. The yogurt with the sweet and tangy chutnies was really delicious. Service was inconsistent because of how busy they were. But then again we were there on a Friday night. Highly recommend reserving a table ahead of time.

Kanishka brings together flavorful Indian food and friendly service, creating an enjoyable restaurant experience. Our waiter gave me complimentary carrot halwa because he heard that I liked it, which was so nice of him. Definitely come here for good food, and a good time!

This is Our family’s most favorite restaurant. My kids always go with paneer Mughlai and garlic naan. Taste is always awesome.I prefer thali there and veg and non-veg both Thalis are super tasty. Waiting time is very genuine all the time. Cleanliness and environment is all good.we really enjoy food there in our every visit. For me it’s 5 star restaurant.
My favorite drink is lemon and ginger one. The taste of drink is amazingly refreshing.
Malai kofta, palak paneer and Rogan Josh are my favorites there.

It has been awhile since I had Indian food, and we have lots of great places in Vancouver and Surrey up North. Very flavorful dishes. Only warning for casual or non spicy eaters is that the mild is still pretty spicy.

The tandoori chicken and paan made my day!

We ordered 2 chicken biriyani and 1 tandoori chicken and a cucumber salad. The tandoori chicken was so succulent and tasty that it surpassed my expectations.

My kids enjoyed the chicken biriyani and almost said that it was as good as in Memphis. It brought back fond memories for them.

I had eaten in so many Indian places and this is the best in service, food, ambience and hygiene.

A special shout-out to the waiter who went out of his way to get meetha paan for me and my husband,

Came here to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday (she loves Indian food). Really great Restaurant, had a wonderful experience. Super grateful they had no problem seating 8 of us. The service was amazing. My Husband and I had never had Indian beer, when we ordered the Taj Mahal Beer the server was so kind and recommended a different beer IT WAS AN EXCELLENT Indian beer. Thank You!!!! Everyone in the party LOVED their food choice. The naan was so well made. Very wonderful experience, definitely will come again.

We went there for dinner on friday around 8 pm. We had to wait for 15-20 mins. We ordered naan, roti, paneer tikka masala and malai kofta with ginger lime soda. Overall I had a great dinner experience. Both the curries and naan were great. Roti was crispy and thin and in the absence of butter it was little hard to eat. Soda was decent. Service was great. We ordered an extra paneer curry in between our dinner and they brought it very fast. Kudos to the service and preparation time.

This was an amazing place with very sweet and understanding staff! Would definitely recommend this place if you like Indian food. If you're a fan of spicy, go with 5 level spice because 4 is just a little spicy, enough to taste. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the milkshakes because they are not to my taste. They are very thin, a similar consistency to the lassi, which is not what I like in a milkshake. Also, the Oreo milkshake definitely tasted mostly of chocolate, so I wasn't a huge fan. The food is fantastic though and everyone is very kind there. The shrimp curry dish was best, lamb biryani is always a favorite of mine and they gave plenty of raita, which was nice! Also, always grab yourself some of the pakoras ❤ I chose veggie and it was AMAZING. Give it a try!

Tasty and delicious north Indian curries. Their paneer tikka curry with Bullet Naan was show stopper. Gobi Manchurian was also tasty and yummy. We ordered two non veg curries- Mutton Keema Ra ra special for that day and saffron chicken curry. Out of which Saffron Chicken was not so good. Most of the dishes we ordered and drinks- Ginger Soda & Mango Lassi were also worth trying.
Food was piping hot and served very well.

Parking can be difficult if it’s crowded. Came at noon on a Sunday and got seated right away. Very good variety of food for the buffet. Very mild hot spices so very tolerable. Decently clean inside. Servers empty your dirty plates right away. Same with water refills.

A little crowded with the buffet lines, but line goes quickly. For the buffet, Paid about $15 per adult and kids over 10, and $8 for 5-9 year old.
