Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baton Rouge East, an IHG Hotel

Awesome front desk staff. Dee is amazing in her job and makes me feel right at home when I come in every week. Rooms are very clean and comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

The room was supposed to be bigger for a suite, the sofas bed was not very comfortable. Bathroom was comfortable and clean. For a good night sleep, it has to be a quiet place.

The place was clean, the room was spacious. The bathroom was big and didn't feel closed in like some of them. 25 dollar incidental fee was reimbursed. Breakfast was included.

Thanks to the wonderful staff. Especially the front desk for setting the tone the minute we walked in the door for our family reunion. Dee Meche greeted us with such joy and warmth. Our every need was taken care of. The entire staff we encountered was great. The Stampley Family Reunion was a success

I cannot proffer this review without starting with the night customer service provider, Aaron, who went aboove and beyond not once, but three times. Moving children/ young adults to college campuses/towns is no easy feat whether first year or 4th year! A unexpected vehicle matter led to a late night of unpacking into another vehicle towing and all that comes with that life scenario. After starting the move-in and finally getting a break to find lodging, I entered the wrong dates. We were not turned away, although he could have done so given no visible availability. He worked it out. The day customer rep, Cy(?), worked with us next day to remain in the same room. We checked out as planned but wound up not starting the journey home due to more move needs and vehicle repairs. I called back and again, in the middle of the night, he accommodated and welcomed us. Aaron and Cy, thank you! The cleaning service providers were also extremely accommodating and polite!

Awesome and peaceful place. This hotel room had a tub, microwave, fridge, an ice bucket in the room and great 🍳 🥓 breakfast. That's all I ask for. Tru that was next door didn't deliver last week like holiday inn express sis. Great job

Upon arrival at the front desk, I met a beautiful soul by the name of Holly. She was just as sweet as can be. My first words to her were, "you look exhausted!" She smiled & stated that she was. She seemed to be working short handed & with a major dance convention & baseball tournament going on in the area, she held this place down & rocked her customer service skills. Major kudos to her & a huge thanks for being you. When I entered the room, it was exceptionally clean & smelled fresh. I always clean with my Clorox wipes then spray Lysol & the wipes were clean afterwards except for the toilet handle. There was a little food stain on the comforter which meant that it hadn't been changed but it was nothing major to complain about as I travel with my own linen. The only issue that I had was the drain in the bathtub was stuck & the water wasn't draining properly. My stay was good & I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Very clean. Amazing beds and pillows. Great breakfast. Soft water. Not too far off I-10. I wish we could have stayed here every night of our trip. We stayed in five hotels on our trip and this was the best. We stayed in an Econo lodge in TX (small town, you can imagine), Palacio in Houston, TX (pig with lipstick), boutique hotel in Mobile, AL entertainment district (nice upscale but paying for location), and a family owned motel outside Jacksonville, FL (worst place I've stayed since I was a broke college student). I recommend this Holiday Inn highly!

What I look for when I travel with my children, cleanliness, security, tranquility, this hotel has it.

Beds are comfortable, room clean and spacious and a good breakfast! It is very well located with a wide variety of shops.

Of course we come back!.

Thanks this place was great every one was helpful and great on giving out rooms to the special needed and making sure we had everything we needed thanks again. This place is handicap friendly and breakfast friendly but they came up short on breakfast that's the only thing but every thing else was great clean rooms clean lobby clean restrooms by the lobby . So can we enjoy a stay half off just thought I would ask we're always staying at your locations.

Brand new hotel with clean rooms. Very nice and friendly staff that goes above and beyond. This hotel is closer to Baton Rouge than the one I was at the night before. If you have business or a family trip in Baton Rouge, I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel I stayed at the night before had a limited breakfast spread compared to Holiday Inn. Holiday in had eggs, turkey sausage, cinnamon rolls, cereal, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, etc. Just trust me on this bang for your buck go to holiday inn express. :)

I just wish Holiday Inn would kick up their breakfasts! The pancake machines every holiday inn has now, are awful! (Holiday Inn Gods, I hope you read this!) This particular location made pancakes that were smaller than the famous Holiday Inn cinnamon rolls. Bring back the waffle machines! Offer more fruit!

Very pleased to have found this location in the area. Had a terrible experience with a nearby hotel and found this one and reserved it immediately as we left the other. 10 minutes later we pulled into a wonderful quiet and secluded location. Appearance of the building was superb for any hotel ive stayed at previous. Walking in, the clerk already had my info printed out and was ready to receive us for the day. Two minutes and we were walking up to our room. The halls were spacious, well taken care of and smelled fresh and inviting. We made it to our room and were blown away with the quality. The beds are apparently brand new as of recent and were so comfortable that my gf wouldnt get up for quite some time after she plopped. Im now looking into this bed brand because its the nicest ive ever laid upon. For the price we paid we were certainly expecting an upgrade from our previous hotel but my goodness. I feel like i got a huge bargain and still got an amazing room. Would 10/10 recommend and will look for a Holiday Inn on all my trips from this day forward and very well may join their club off this experience alone.
Update:the breakfast is well worth it as well. Had everything we were hoping they would and more. Very impressed once again

Great staff, great rooms. My crew and I had been in Florida for 2 weeks for Irma, this hotel got us in, to are rooms and comfortable very quickly. Also the best beds we had slept in our entire trip. Very comfortable

Anytime I come to Baton Rouge for now on my family and I will always stay here! Amazing employees ( besides front desk girl with her ears gaged) amazing breakfast, best beds I’ve ever had in a hotel, even the shampoo and conditioner they give you is actually great, very clean, security gaurd watching our vehicles at night, just perfect all around! If you have children especially don’t go to any other unsafe crummy hotels in the area, come here I promise it’s worth every penny!

Hotel looks like new , has awesome rooms . Everything is very clean including the bathroom ( which I am always obsessed with). The gentleman behind the front desk was very friendly and professional. Great customer service really makes the difference and makes you feel welcome . 👍👍👍

The check in was quick and fast . Good rewards discounts . The room was wonderful and clean . Nice staff . Great breakfast . Would love to come back again . Didnt want to leave that bed and them pillows . And the bathroom nice and the new lights
