My fiance and I lived in a Homemart managed duplex for seven years. Our agent Elicia was great and continued to look out for us throughout our seven years. The team is wonderful. Whenever we required repairs they were done quickly and carefully through the portal. Our rent was reasonable and we loved the neighborhood. If we had not purchased a home we would still be with the Homemart family! Thanks guys for helping us making a house our home!

I am pleasantly surprised at the speed these people respond to your maintenance request.
I sent an email to Jodi on Monday morning 12-24-18 for a list of things to be done in the house and by the same Monday evening coming home from work they were already done.
Be sure to ask for Elicia or Jodi for your housing needs. I highly recommend this group.

I rented a property from Homemart. I had very little issues with the home and when I did have a concern, they addressed it immediately.
The Owner of the home decided to sell it and Homemart assisted me in finding another home to rent which I absolutely LOVE!
I received most of my deposit back in a timely manner and had no problems with getting into the new home thanks to the staff there who worked with me through the entire process.
What could have been a nightmare was instead a dream come true!

Called to figure out some information about an available townhome for rent and let’s just say I don’t know whoever Brenda is with this company, but she for sure shouldn’t be working in any job related to customer service!

When I initially asked her a question about a unit she cuts me off and says “that agent is out of the office let me send you to her voicemail”. Before I could even tell her to hold on I was cut off and sent to voicemail. (which I already left a voicemail on the agents phone the day prior). I then called back to ask her the question she could’ve have initially answered had she waited to see if I had anything to say or hear my question! I asked her a question about the application process. Once I received my answer I thanked her and before I could even tell her to have a good day she replied “mmhhmmmm” and hung up the phone.

Maybe Ms.Brenda woke up on the wrong side of the bed today but she for sure needs to take a course in customer service and phone etiquette. Thank god I already have met Stephanie and she was so nice it makes up for Brenda crappy attitude and sense of not wanting to be bothered.

As for Brenda, if you hate your job so much that a simple question about the application process irritates you them maybe you should find a new one!

As a property management group, I'd have to say that Homemart Realty does not live up to its promises. They don't manage upkeep of their rental properties very attentively, and if you put in a work order for the gutters of your rental home to be cleaned (which is their responsibility according to their lease agreement), they MIGHT respond within 3-5 months. We even had one of their employees tell us point blank that they usually wait until the fall/winter season is completely over before bothering to clean anyone's gutters, regardless of the fact that they expect their tenants to rake leaves and mow the lawn without fail every 2 weeks.

And when you do the move out inspection, the agent does their absolute best to find the tiniest things to mark you off for so they can take your security deposit - even things that were noted as having been there before your move-in, regardless of how well you've taken care of the house. We actually had one of their employees attempt to mark points off on our move-out inspection for not having blinds on all of the windows....despite the fact that there were NO blinds when we moved in, and we in fact installed blinds at our own expense on most of the main windows without deducting it from rent. She even tried to mark points off for having a few leaves in the yard, when we had literally raked the day beforehand.

I can't say that I've been impressed by them, in the 3 years my husband and I have been their tenants. Search for a home being managed by Re/Max instead.

They placed an eviction on my background check when I wasn't evicted. Come to find out, that was 4 years ago and they still haven't closed anything with the courts. Also, when I moved out, they did the moveout inspection and charged me for some of the smallest things that would have had to be done upon ANYONE moving out. You can't get a hold of anyone, seems like they've gone out of business.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! After 2 years of loyal residency with them and NO late payments at all, they refused to renew our lease...saying that the "trash problem" in our group of duplexes was OUR fault, even though we abided by all of their rules and kept our trash under control. When we called to discuss the problem and explain ourselves, the woman in charge REFUSED to speak with us. I have NEVER felt so disrespected. Not only that but the maintenance crew did everything half way, and acted annoyed to fix something; we fixed most things ourselves. Very rude management....so rude...I am so very happy to be moved out and on to a much better community.
