Rimiro is the best banker I've dealt with. Fast, knowledgeable and has my interests in mind.
Yes any merging branch is frustrating to deal with, I'm happy to drive out of my way to this branch.

The branch is conveniently located at the Collective "the old Avenues", northeast corner at Hwy 141 and Ronald Reagan Blvd. The staff is friendly and professional not to mention very responsive. I always feel good when I interact with them and I very satisfied with my choice of a banking partner.

First time in my life Suntrust employees worked hard to solve a mistake that was made. Every other time in the history of my dealings I've been told that there was nothing they could do. Today was finally different. Thank you guys

Friday 08/26/22 the banking software systems were down. No account updates (opening and closing, etc) could be done. Wasted time going to the branch.

I’ve worked in Banking IT systems and specifically for SunTrust for 3+ years in the past. This downtime is a representation of absolute chaos, customer focus and lack of IT systems management.

Customers that are looking for Decent Banking experience - beware of this! And look right across the road for better banking options.

After many years with Suntrust I get a certified letter saying that they no longer wanted our business and that we must immediately close all of our deposit accounts (the letter stated no reason).
I am in this branch at least once a week so I go in with the with the letter to see whats up. Speaking with a business rep we notice there is a phone # on the letter saying to call with questions so we call (from the branch) and the terse lady on the other end says that the info in the letter is all of the information I can get and that she will tell me no more.
I know the branch manager who is there during this and who is shocked when she sees the letter and hears the call. She calls again saying that there must be a mistake and that we are a seller account but she can also get no information.
I close at 4-5 accounts that day including my kids college funds (multiple accounts) with about 100K, also our homeowners association account with over 30K and two other deposit accounts with 20 and 15K each. The branch manager apologizes.
What is up with this? These were all simple cash and payroll deposit accounts.

What a hassle to make the move but with these accounts making sub 1% interest it is almost better to keep the money in a drawer at home. If Suntrust does not want our money to help them out of the trouble that they are having, Regions was happy to take it and has been a pleasure to work with and yes the drawer at home works good also.

ATM counts my cash, and right before making a deposit puts up a generic error message and refuses to deposit my cash. If it was going to refuse to deposit money should have at least told me before wasting 5 minutes of my time. Depositing cash is one if the easiest things and this branch can't even do that.

If you do not bank with SunTrust they charge a $7 fee to cash a check that is written from a SunTrust account. Whenever I am ready to switch banking from my smaller community bank, SunTrust will not be on the list.

I waited in line at teller for 10 minutes then finally sent my deposit. The teller was upset that I sent too much money through teller and asked me to not do that next time. After another 5 minutes of waiting the teller told me I was holding the line up and I had to come inside. Then I went inside and was told to sit down and wait. Took 20 minutes to make deposit.

It’s impossible to bank with SunTrust since CoVid and this branch tops the list.
