They are not bad. They got my car claim approved when a hit and run happened to my vehicle. I also have homeowners insurance through them. I have never had ANY issues with them. If you are not at fault or scheming, you will ABSOLUTELY love this company. I left Geico for this company in a heart beat and do not regret it for a second.

Greatest insurance ever go there call them

Never answer the phone when you need them. Was going to give them 1 star but their prices are amazing compared to the other insurance companies here.

Its ok company I dont like the website to pay and the service is average.

They sent me a check for property damage and spelled my name wrong. So I told them to void the check and just pay the body shop directly.

I called them days before my vehicle was ready for pick up. I asked them since they will be paying them directly to make sure I didn't have any issues the day of pick up since they won't release the vehicle without payment.

Now I am sitting here and they will not release my vehicle even though I've told Encompass to make sure everything was all set.

Also they didn't even have a rental ready for me when I dropped off my car. I had to call them and wait for Enterprise to get a car from another branch.

Expect them to waste your time

We switched over to this insurance company a year ago and it is the absolute worst decision I have ever made. If I could go back I would have never switched policies. DO NOT use them or give them the time of day. My husband was rear-ended and they did not know what they were doing. Made multiple mistakes- never fessed up. Tried to send us to collections over a check that they wrote out to us when it was their mistake in the first place. Their reps are so disrespectful and lazy. We had to figure everything out on our own and still having to figure out issues they have caused us. Stay FAR away from them - I regret giving them our business this past year.

Their insured hit my car on July 18. I have it on video, so there's no question about it being entirely her fault. To the other driver's credit though, she accepted responsibility and the following day an Adjuster went to look at my car. They gave me an estimate just over $4000 and I was relieved, but he said they wanted to total it.

I asked what the ACV payout offer was, but was told they couldn't give me a number until i gave them the car.

I asked where the car would be taken in case I wanted to retrieve it and was told the name, but he couldn't give me a location until the car got there (hey, idiot...I know how to Google!) Turns out the place is in another state over 100 miles away.

I live in a total loss formula state. When I asked for the basis of that decision, knowing that the ACV on my car is well over $10k, he said he'd get back to me.

So then I said I would consider agreeing if they gave me the source and basis of their total loss decision, since they are required by state law to provide it. Never heard from him again.

More than a week later I received a text from a woman saying she was the total loss Adjuster, that she was working on the value and would contact me when she had the final numbers...that was 8 weeks ago.

Specificly asked for 0 deductible for comprehensive coverage was told 100 was the lowest I could get and we decided the savings was worth it. Then when it comes to claim time when a rock cracked my glass all savings were gone I was set up with a 500 deductible. Chris never returns calls. Zack said he would try and see what he could do never heard back from him. They are not trust worthy.

I was with this company for about 3 years and I was paying almost $300 for ONE car. Since the pandemic I have been working from home for about 2 years now so I only use my car maybe once a week. I called to ask if my insurance could be lowered based on that and the fact I have no tickets or citations and they took 2 days to get back to me just to tell me that I have the best rate for my area (foolishness). I canceled effective 10/10/2022 and was told I would receive a final statement which I never got.
12/19/2022 i receive a text message that I was sent to collections. I finally call and these crooks are going to say they sent me the final statement in the mail- to an address I didn't live at when I started the policy and they have been emailing this whole time so why did you send me mail?!?!?!?
I am now with Liberty mutual paying $301 for TWO cars. RUN, DONT WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!

The worst ever experience of insurance response after my house flood issue.
A sequence of administrative mistakes since the police name issued wrongly until the steps of release payment. Checks were wrongly endorsed, with no consistency in the endorsement process. It’s already almost 3 months and so far no line of sight when I will receive the last check pending in order to release the money to start my remodeling.
Beyond that my personal information, and check details were shared to a third part without my authorization.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response and effectiveness from the company and the adjuster not prepared for the function neither for the basics capabilities.

Worst possible insurance company. We took a home owner insurance quote from them and didn’t purchase the insurance. Due to this, they reported me to Credit Collection Bureau claiming 30% of Insurance amount

This is a horrible company they scammed us and they always charge more and cancel the insurance to try to get money out of you in any way possible please beware of this company I would give them 0 stars if possible I had lots of headaches and problems with this company.

Terrible. My vehicle struck by lightning by my garage. It took out steering assist module. Encompass sent an adjuster and says it's normal wear and tare. My wife's car was sitting next to it and the lightning took her car out as well. Hers is a 2022 Nissan. I guess that's normal wear and tear too. Ya right. I'm getting a attorney now. This company is terrible....
