If you love small town hole in the wall feelings this is the place to go. Food was really good, service was great and being from a small town myself, the atmosphere was amazing. As soon as we sat down the first time we went there, the bartender introduced us to the patrons in the bar. I love it. Went twice and would definitely go back again.

I had the Executive Vegetarian pizza, and it was delicious. The service was nice and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They are no doubt die-hard LSU fans.

I absolutely love Pastime! I have come to this restaurant since I was a little kid, and I have never had bad food. Pastime is great to go to before or after LSU games and you will never be disappointed. The owners are always nice and have smiles on their faces. On the topic of food, the pizza is really great and always tastes good, even if you get it delivered. The fries can be a little hit or miss, but they mix well with the the taste of the pizza. I usually get the pizza, but my family always says the roast beef poboy is amazing! Although, there is mayo on it so if that’s not something you like, make sure to ask to take it off.

Great food and service! The hostess/cashier that gave us our food and checked us out had an awesome attitude and went above and beyond in ways that you don't see too often anymore in any establishment. All the staff that i came in contact with were super friendly actually, great crew that does their job well because they made me actually want to return in the near future.

Don't waste your time going anywhere else.
Drive on over to the Pastime, and take the family.

We love the bar keep named Jade! I have been eating this lounge after every LSU event for the past 30 years. To order you must walk back to the rear of the lounge. You must write your order on a white paper notebook. Make sure to hand your order to an employee. After you pay when you get your food. For lunch after a 28-mile bike ride we ordered the shrimp poboy.

We came in last min they were basically closed and had my 2yr old with us. They took us in and the food was amazing. We both got the bacon burger with fries I added chili to mine and it was a making we did add an extra patty but honestly you don't need to it was huge and we had fried mushrooms which were great also the baby had chicken tenders and fries. They were very nice and helpful i will be back to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. the patio was also open and the plants were beautiful. Just saying as a plant lover myself💚

It's old. The paneling has 30+ years of "memories" entire embedded in them. The service was second to none. The food was good. Pizza is that greasy, fall off topping variation. Overall, not bad for what it is.

A Baton Rouge staple since 1945! I've been going here since I was a kid, and it's always been dark and dinghy, but I always remember it being a treat. The staff is wonderful and the food is always amazing.

This place is an institution for our family-in fact, it was the first meal my dad had after moving to Baton Rouge. Whenever I come home to visit, I always have to come here. The cheeseburger poboy, Big Ragoo pizza and Boudin pizza are my favorites. Love this place and the atmosphere here.

Anyone visiting Baton Rouge should do themselves a favor and swing in to this staple restaurant in our city. Not only is the pizza amazing, but the atmosphere is extremely charming. I'm also a big fan of their seafood and sandwiches. The workers are extremely friendly and always make a point to say hello and greet patrons. I'm lucky enough to work downtown and am able to eat lunch here often. Highly recommend.

So I have to say, I didn’t eat here, BUT, I did catch the bus to and from an LSU football game and it made it so convenient to get there. Some family ate here after the game and loved it!

Excellent pizza!!! I had the Papa Joe, without the bell peppers.
And, my husband had the Yardbird Calzone. Yummy!! I had a Long Island Ice Tea that was really really good! Definitely recommend!!

stumbled on to this place because it was close to where we were staying. absolutely not disappointed! I had a delicious shrimp poboy. my sister enjoyed a 9-in pizza. Staff were all super nice and friendly! Only here for the weekend and might have to come back

Delicious roast beef poboys! The pic is the half that's left. My son, a self-proclaimed connoisseur, said it was one of his top 5 hamburgers of all time!

The pizza was really good!! I enjoy there barbecue pizza much more than anywhere else in Baton Rouge. The wasn’t bad for the the middle of work day lunch rush! The ranch is good too.
I like the atmosphere inside. Very warm and inviting.

I think it’s a hoot they make you right down your order! Apparently a practice they have had for 75 years so that if your order is wrong they can blame it on you.

10/10 I’ll come eat here.

Rode shuttle to LSU game. Excellent. Lively bus driver. Stopped by after the game for burgers and free beers ( if you rode Pastime shuttle you got free beer after game) excellent!!!. Safe free parking. Shuttle was $24 for 2. Well worth it. Watched Florida - Kentucky game while eating and free drinking. Kentucky upset Florida, ( go LSU ). Above average service. Lively atmosphere. Southern hospitality at it's finest. I live in Livingston Parish, a long drive from Downtown late at night, be careful of crazies when going home. Excellent food. Try some. Thanks Pastime!!!!

Boudin Pizza and Pepperoni pizza were delicious and the atmosphere is great. It's definitely a fun place.
