La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baton Rouge - Port Allen

I have stayed at this location twice already and I have never been disappointed. Miss Kay makes you feel so special and at home. The hotel is just so clean and neat! All the staff on hand are so kind and welcoming and never make you feel like you’re a bother. The breakfast is amazing!

Driving a U-Haul from Austin Texas to Sarasota Florida, we stopped here for the night. The night staff front desk agent was excellent- she provided great service and was very friendly, even at 2:00AM. She even helped us pick a room that suited our preferences. A++!
The hotel has ample parking for U-Haul and trailer, no problems with break-ins and easy access back on the highway. Very clean and good breakfast in the morning. I would stay again. Thank you!

We stayed for a night and the rooms were so clean and sanitary. Even as you enter the hotel, the place looks neat and tidy. It doesn’t smell bad. The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff were nice and respectful. There were many options for breakfast and the breakfast area was clean as well.

Kay is the best! This is the cleanest hotel and the friendliest staff I've ever experienced. Meet and greet at 5:00 p.m. was really awesome with cocktails.

I have to give a shout-out to Kay at this excellent hotel front desk staff. Why? Because she took time out of her busy day to make me an all gluten-free breakfast.
Being a person with a gluten allergy, it's tough traveling and finding options to eat.
I stayed at this hotel chain in Nebraska and found out what a large variety of gluten-free options they provide for breakfast. So, of course, I picked this hotel for my stay this trip.
After a great, clean, comfy sleep, I came down to find only hard-boiled eggs, bananas, and juice. I was shocked and disappointed and still hungry. As I was checking out, Kay asked how my stay was? I told Kay my disappointment and frustration.
She went to the kitchen and cooked up eggs with salsa and spices and potatoes, cut up a banana, cooked turkey sausage, and made grits. I was so impressed and surprised. I got to eat well before leaving and will be back soon.

Absolutely loved this place. It is the nicest La Quinta I have ever stayed in, the rooms were clean and neat, the employees were so nice and friendly. The breakfast was good, The location was safe and not far off the route that I was traveling. My sister and I are in our 70’s and traveling together, we both were thrilled with the room. We have stayed a several La Quinta’s hotels and they were not as nice as this one.
I liked it so well on our way back home We are stopping for another night to rest on a long trip home. I will remember this place if I ever travel this way again.

The young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly and had a great attitude. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. I would most definitely stay at this location again if I returned to Louisiana again

I stayed here twice within a 10-day period as I traveled cross country. The room was clean and well maintained and I appreciate that I can have my dogs with me. It is also nice to have a bit of breakfast before getting on the road. I would definitely stay again. The hotel is easy on and off the freeway as well.

Everyone was nice and helpful. Everything was clean and well stocked. The pool was basic and a little disappointing. But I will definitely be back.

Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is awesome! Great variety, everything fresh and hot. Very convenient location for going to football games. Our room had a view of the Capital Building and Tiger Stadium. Clean rooms, modern vibe. Definitely one of the best hotels all around and we will definitely be back!

I wish I could remember the amazing over night worker that was so sweet to me and my family when we checked in super late after a LONG drive, she made everything so quick and easy for us to get right into our room to sleep!! Also my first time staying at a La Quinta, the beds were so soft, it was a great first stay.!

We had a nightmare experience with another hotel as soon as we arrived there and had to check in here as a last minute emergency and I’m SO GLAD WE DID! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcomed. The room was fairly priced and allowed pets for an extra fee, but it was so worth it. The room was super clean and it smelled good throughout the hotel. Rooms have thermostats that kept the room nice and warm which was amazing because the weather got extremely cold. Breakfast was 10/10 very good and fresh which we really appreciated. Definitely sticking to La Quinta from now on.

Everything is good with hotel. But if you stay here don't leave anything in your vehicle. Car may get broke into or vehicle may get stolen.

We stayed here once and loved it so much that our next time back we booked this same place again in a heartbeat. Loved it again! Clean, elegant, very comfortable rooms! Also very near Baton Rouge.

Neutral: The bed is indeed kinda tall, I think due to a thick mattress, it has some nice pros but also some cons for shorter people. Overall we liked it.

Cons: Free breakfast is nice, but it's not the fanciest, don't get your expectations too high.

Staff was great! We forgot our kids stool in the bathroom and one of the employees came out before we had left to give us the stool. I haven't had a hotel that services rooms that quickly. I've donated many items haha. Great that they were dog friendly too.

The checkin and out was very fast. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The room including the bathroom was clean and well organized. My room was ready unpon arival. It's not to far from downtown Batton Rouge, and there are quick food options close by. Over all 5/5 satisfaction from my end.

We’ve stayed multiple times here and always look forward to spending the night while traveling through. Very clean and up-to-date. Great with pets and children. Breakfast is very good as well, beats all the restaurants in the immediate area. The staff is super kind and helpful as well. The amenities (pool, gym, washers/dryers) are great considering that their more common clientele seems to be contractors working locally. They really put a lot of effort into making this place great for travelers of all kinds.
