Ok people. Looking for a good king cake? This is the place. I finally found a really good one instead of a stale cinnamon roll in a box like most. The staff is really nice and my order was ready the next day. Mom's red velvet birthday cake was moist and delicious. Baum's, you got me... I'll definitely be back.

Great service. I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's 21's birthday. When I picked it up the cake was pretty but not exactly what I wanted. I was going to take the cake anyway. But the employee saw I was not totally satisfied, she said they would make the changes I wanted. Within an hour they called me to pick up the cake. It was beautiful. Everyone at my daughter's party commented on how pretty the cake looked. On top of that, it tasted great. I am extremely grateful that Baum's employee's did everything within their means to make sure I was satisfied with my cake. I was satisfied and very pleased with the cake and the professionalism of the employees. I sincerely thank you.

Love, love, love this place and their staff.....just got the most special dual graduation cake....especially during these uncertain times we have to cherish the important milestones.

My husband and I selected Baum’s to do 2 photo cakes for our 50th Anniversary Celebration at Oak Lodge in Baton Rouge. We both grew up in Baton Rouge and knew that Baum’s has a long well earned reputation for taking care of their customers.
From the day we ordered the cakes and sent them the pictures, to the day that we picked up the final product, we were handled with care.

I went to Baum's pastries to find some cupcakes, and petifores, that would satisfy all three of my grandchildren. Although I did not find what I was looking for, the young lady working there was very helpful. There were at least four people in the store but she managed to make all of us feel just as important. I would definitely go back there.

Came here with my very good friend and her son. Have not visited in some time, but the pastries and sweets are always good. This bakery is 80+ years in existence, and is the preference for a lot of old schoolers. They always use real butter, but have heart healthy options, too.

It's not a birthday without a Baum's cake! Last week our co-worker's birthday cake was a half lemon and half chocolate doberge cake from here and WOW! One of the best cakes I've ever tasted!

If you have a sweet tooth to take care of... Or a special occasion... This place should be at the tippy top of your list. Try the half and half lemon/chocolate dobach cake, it's my family's absolute favorite!

I love the holiday butter cookies (the red & green swirl for Christmas, the green & purple swirl for Mardi Gras). My mother always got my birthday cakes from this bakery.

I ordered my wedding cakes from Baum's. My mouth is still watering . I will definitely be ordering from bakery again.

Everything they have here is delicious. The dobasch, both lemon and chocolate, are amazing!! So are the petit fours, and the cake squares YUMMMMM!!! I love Baums!!!!!

Mrs Tonya and her crew of workers are amazing I couldn't find anyone to do a cake how I asked and they did it thank y'all.
