Brickyard South Bar + Patio

This place has a wonderful atmosphere with great jazz jam on Wednesdays and karaoke on Thursdays!! There is a good truck that hangs around there and it is absolutely FANTASTIC!! 10/10 awesome drink selection!!

Amazing local bar! Great owner and awesome staff! My new go to bar. Can't beat the Friday night hamburgers with freshly made french fries.

First visit. Last night. Karaoke. From the second I stepped into the welcoming environment and cozy vibes, I was hooked. Meeting my Krewe after they finished work led to my arrival about an hour before the singing started. [And my posse arrived] So single chick alone at an unfamiliar bar. Nervous? Hardly. 5 minutes in the regulars were chatting with me like I'd been there all night. Regular old chatting.

I have no idea if I met staff or owners but everyone working was warm, efficient, and kept the bar rolling.

I can only assume the karaoke family here is always so vibrant, varied, and a wonderful audience to have. We will most definitely be back.

[Side note. This wonderful staff did an amazing job keeping the place clean. Bathrooms, tabletops, floors, the works. A funky spot it is, in all the best ways, but not THAT funky if you get me.]

I've never been to such a positive bar as this one! Loved the atmosphere, the people, just everything!! I've been twice now for ladies night and absolutely 10 out of 10 recommend!

Brickyard south is my new favorite bar in Baton Rouge. The staff are friendly the owner is on site and very cool dude, the crowd goes there is very laid-back and cool. I almost don’t want people to know about it for it to lose its cool nature.

Best bar in Baton Rouge hands down. Great drinks for a great price. Welcoming fun atmosphere with different themes every night. Here you can get up and dance or just sit back and take a load off. Definitely recommend for anyone needing an after work hangout.

Enjoyed listening to my friends David Comeaux & Melissa McKey Seidule play at The Brickyard South back in July!! It was my first time hanging out there, and I enjoyed it very much. Loved the cool stage area with pool tables close by—all around cool vibes throughout the bar. Nice & friendly bartenders, too. I’m looking forward to going back soon so that I can take advantage of the beautiful outdoor patio!!🎶👏❤👋🎶

Stopped in a little while after a concert at the river center. We had a good time from what I remember haha! The live music was a southern rock mixture, good vibe. We mostly hung out on the patio and talked to randos.

Brickyard is amazing. Bartenders are wonderful. Everyone is very friendly and it just makes you feel at home. They have some great daily deals as well trivia, bingo, and live music. I'd give them more stars if I could.

Went tonight for the first time for their dinner on the patio. Everything was fabulous! The food was flavorful, there cocktails were paired well taste wise. The atmosphere and staff were amazing. I will definitely be back.

Super chill atmosphere! They have pretty good drink specials every day of the week... my favorite is Taco/Tequila Tuesday and Trivia Night! My only critique: even while sitting at the bar, away from thr DJs area, the music was a little loud. Great music selection, just too loud.

You'll always feel at home at Brickyard. Awesome food including Red Beans Monday, Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, Slamburger Fridays and, this just in, Brunch on Sundays. 10/10 recommend all. Delicious food, strong drinks, great company. Get you some.

This is the best and one of the only dive bars in Baton Rouge. Great vibes, good music, classic cocktails, and one hell of a beer selection. If your in the area and don't stop in here...you lost

Great dive bar under the MS bridge. Features live music and an eclectic crowd.

Brickyard is a good example of the perfect bar. Kinda divey, regulars, large-ish crowd that all seem to know each other and allow you to join in! Owner Danny is great, and the food they're cooking up is amazing!

Kind and attentive staff meets all your needs. A convient atm and a ski ball machine are located to the left on the way to the rest rooms. To the right is a pool table and seating. My friends and I prefer sitting outside. There is plenty of space and even a giant jenga set. Sometimes they have wings and karaoke. Very relaxed and fun.
