Holiday Inn Express & Suites Morehead City

I was here 10 days, dealing with family matters. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff excellent, the housekeeping good, and open to suggestion.
Price is comparable to other local motels, I recommend this establishment 100%
Close to groceries and restaurants, conveniant location.

What began as a disaster vacation at a different brand of hotels, Holiday Inn went above and beyond to make up for the last non-IHG stay. Knowing the prior experience with The Islander, Holiday Inn more than made up for the wasted vacation days we had left. There's not enough good things to say. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service from staff, accomodations and the breakfast buffet is inviting. Home away from home, this will always be my go-to for every travel stay.

Wonderful hotel overall everything was clean.. service was awesome the people at the front desk are very helpful and they even left new towels in a bag at my door since I keep my do not disturb sign on all the time.. Breakfast was great every day but them western omelets are so tasty.. my husband had been raving about them for a week till I got to try them and he was as always when it comes to food correct. They didn't make me feel like I'm lying to them when I tell them I have a service dog.. He's very important to me and I've had a few places act like that to me because I don't have a quickly noticeable disability. Great stay and I would recommend them to everyone.

This hotel was amazing, from the moment we entered the two ladies at the front desk were super nice and friendly. The rooms were clean with good AC. The tv channels were showing really great movies also. The bathrooms were spacious with nice mirrors. The free breakfast was very delicious. The cleaning crew knocked on my door to ask if I needed more towels which i thought was a very nice gesture. Over all the experience was great and i would definitely come back and stay here again! :)

Faced with the difficult choice between a perennial building site on Bridges Street and a comfortable, state of the art hotel room for ten dollars less, I chose the Holiday Inn Express. Great breakfast, too, and nice little exercise room.

Hebah was super sweet and helpful with getting us set up with a room with no prior reservation… She assisted us with luggage and getting to our room.. she took great care of us and it was like visiting Home! Our room was nice and clean …

This is a great place near the beach. Rooms are spacious, clean & nicely decorated. Staff is very professional & courteous.

Just one piece of advice for the management. Went for the breakfast & was elated to find out omelets being served only to find that they had bacon in it. Many religions don’t allow pork or meat. There were sausages for people to indulge in meats if they wanted. If possible. Keep the omelets vegetarian

There was nowhere to run outdoors near the hotel, but it did have an exercise room with a treadmill and bike. Safe and clean, and across the street from a grocery store.

The male night auditor is an absolute gem. He made my stay a little more bearable, as my brother had suddenly passed away and we were there for quite some time. The rest of the staff was friendly as well.

I just had a brief stay and I had to leave a review Rick the manager and Miss Katy did such a fantastic job getting me a nice room and getting me checked in and out without having to wait. The room was very clean and comfortable and they had a fantastic breakfast with GreT selection of food. I’d highly recommend a stay here for the price location and the staff who were top notch. Thanks again to Rick and Katy for going above and beyond to make my stay possible.

Ideally located near a shopping plaza and restaurants.
This is my first time staying at this location and I would definitely recommend it among the other places that I’ve stayed.

Hotel was Beautiful n Rebuilt 3yrs ago. However taking a shower 1 night. the water just Stopped ✋. called the front desk, the lady was RUDE, phone rang 4ever ( heavy set lady that walked with a cane) rudely told me that county was work on the water. No reason 4 her to b rude, also why can't she park in handicap parking ?? when checking out her vehicle was parked by the front doors.

Great Hotel located near the coast. Enjoyed our room very much. Great Breakfast (was included with our stay). Always had hot coffee / hot chocolate in the lobby. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay very much while we were there and hope to return soon!!

My stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were warm and welcoming upon entering. Some of the staff that stood out to me were Rick, Sydney, and the manager Marcie was great! I will definitely be booking another stay here.

Very nice clean comfortable rooms breakfast the next morning great overall experience

The room was and bed were very comfy, the walk in shower with it's curved door gave you extra room to move around freely. The A/C stayed on the temperature where you set it and did not shut down during the night. The large Samsung TV had plenty of channels to choose from while scrolling. This hotel was neat as a pin inside and out. The breakfast items were always stocked up in the morning. Free bottled water was offered as well. The desk staff were friendly and helpful.

I found the rooms here very nice, clean. The hotel staff was very cordial and helpful, and the manager was a very nice guy and helpful, and definitely makes me want to return. It's right off the main drag and easy to get to, and there's plenty of restaurants, stores within walking distance. There's even a Lidl supermarket across the street from it, and it's not fair from the fishing fleet area, and Atlantic Beach.
