Premier Meat Pies

A hearty and rejuvenating lunch. This was the best meat pie I've ever had, the shepherd's pie in brown gravy. Not that I've had many meat pies but with a cold glass of beer in a chill atmosphere, this is exactly what the weary traveler needs before pressing on with their day.

Tried Premier Meat Pies today for the renton dragon fest! Absolutely delicious! The scotch eggs were done absolutely perfectly, and the pies had an amazing crust and the right ratio of meat to crust. Brought some home, and my mom tried some and was also impressed with them and can't wait to go there herself.

Food, drinks, and service we're all outstanding. First, the decor is welcoming and comfortable. The long list of specialty cocktails has something for everyone and they are both fanciful and delicious. The meat pies and toppers are just the right size to satisfy, and with perfect crispy, decadent crusts that stay crisp throughout. The Irish stew was one of the best I've had, and the bangers and mash was as good as any you would get overseas. Highly recommended. A fantastic new addition to the Renton Downtown!

We have been wanting to try this place for a while, and today was the day. The wait was well worth it. Everything was excelent here. We wanted to try new items so we both ordered dishes we have not had before. I had the Guinness Irish Stew with Chili Cheese as the topper and a side of loaded tater tots. She had the Lamb Curry with mashed potatoes & gravy as a topper. With a side Caprese salad.

Stopped in right as they opened. The service was quick and the seating area was super clean with good amount of seating. I did get my food to go which was out in under 10 minutes. Once I got to my location and tried the food, we'll worth it. I got the Mac n cheese pie, Sheppard pie with a side of gravy and the apple and peach pie. I will definitely try to stop by sometime soon.

This was our first visit to Premier Meat Pies in Renton. We have seen a lot of good reviews, so we were excited to try it out. *Spoiler Alert: It was FANTASTIC!*

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dessa with a warm and friendly smile. Mel, our server, came to us immediately and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered the The Highland Tiger & The Black Hound. Both drinks were gorgeous, and tasty!

For the pies, we ordered the Guiness Irish Stew pie and the Lamb Curry pie. Both pies were phenomenal! The flavors of each pie were on point.

For dessert, we ordered the Peach Apple pie and the Chocolate Banana Bread pudding. Each dessert pie came out piping hot, and the vanilla soft serve a la mode was a lovely addition to both desserts. It was hard to chose our favorite because each of them were perfect!

Mel checked in on us throughout our meal to make sure we had everything we needed and to check on our food and drinks. She was super friendly to us during our stay.

Overall, we are excited they are open now. We can see this becoming a regular stop while we are in Downtown Renton.

Kevin and Beau were both attentive, personable, and knowledgeable about their offerings. I had the Guinness Irish Stew Pie with Mashed Potatoes, gravy, and caramelized onions on top. Yummy! Great flavor, great crust, and very filling. House Salad and Ceasar Salad were solid as well. Looking forward to trying other menu items and the dessert offerings.

Went to the soft opening today and ordered 9 Pies: Guinness Stew, Shepherd, Steak and Mushrooms, Mac n Cheese. All were delicious and especially when you add the different topping options. Big plus only 5min away from me now and no longer need to drive into Seattle for great savory pies.

The wait staff was upbeat and nice.

My husband and I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this restaurant. Luckily for us, we happened to drive by during the soft opening.

The food lived up to all expectations! We both got a meat pie each; he had the lamb curry, and I had the steak and mushroom. Yum! The crust was wonderfully flaky, and the fillings extremely flavorful. We also shared a side of the Yukon gold mashed potatoes with gravy. Another smash hit (be sure to get the gravy, as it really made the dish).

Service was extremely quick, and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

The new Renton location is great, so excited it's finally open. The food was delicious, came out fast and hot. Kevin our server was wonderful and very helpful in explaining all their food items. We got the chicken pie, mac amd cheese and meat and cheese pasties. Looking forward to coming again and trying more pies

I went here with my mom and friend and we had a great experience. We ordered the Lamb & Curry pie which was different but still good. The Macaroni & Cheese Pie very good! The chicken hatch Chile pie which to me tastes like a tamale although my mom said it was a little dry. For appetizers we had the crab dip and poutine both were delicious!! The restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night but that was what I liked. Great service and a great experience!

First, I must praise Kelly for her outstanding service and spot on suggestions. The witty banter made my month! Her suggestion of the Irish stew was perfectly paired with loaded tater tots, all served stylishly with more presentation than I expected. Fast , too. While I did not partake in any alcoholic drinks, they offer plenty of variety... even the unexpected root beer. ;) I'll be taking my wife here to try out their curry pie soon.

Super yummy food and great service! We had the Steak and Mushroom Pie, Lamb Curry Pie, mocktails, and creme brulee. Excited to return and try more!

We went in at 5:30PM on a Friday, and were the only patrons at that time. We were immediately seated, given menus, and given time to look over everything. Since it was our first time at the restaurant, we were unsure of what to order, and asked our waitress for suggestions. She went over the menu with us, and gave us her personal favorites along with what a lot of customers like.

We went with the pie, topping, and side option. While we were a little disappointed that the pies were smaller than we anticipated, we were blown away by the flavor. Both the crust of the pies, along with the fillings were well seasoned and full of flavor. The caramelized onions on top really made the pies sing. We also ordered one of their signature cocktails, which was also a suggestion from our waitress.

We had a great time and were very happy with how good the food was. We are excited to go back and try different pies!

We've never had meat pies, and these are amazing. Great management Raya and great service from Jaden. I had the macaroni pie float, really great. Got to try mashed potatoes, good topper or side. Kid got coffee cake topped with ice cream.

Popped in hoping to take home a couple of traditional meat pies and was not disappointed. Bar had a good selection of alcohols, beer selection was okay. And they had everything I wanted except for haggis. The only thing missing would be a sausage pasty and this would be perfect! Like you know 6/5 stars perfect!

We’ve driven bye so many times….recently tried this place during “Happy Hour” on a Weekday. Hubby had the Steak & Mushroom, full of flavor, no doubt about that! Soooo, good! Mine? The Lamb Curry. I was very disappointed. Quite bland, sad to say. But, I loved the crust! As you’ve might have read, the pies are quite small and so are the sides; mine was Pea Salad w/Mint, delicious! My husband had, Mash Potatoes with the works. After, we were still hungry. We asked again for the menu and ordered Pasty’s. He grew up eating them as his dad was an Irishman.
They hit a grand salami on those! You don’t WANT & or NEED sauce or mustard for those, ever!!! —-And I LOVE my condiments but this is truly “lovely”….so, beautifully done!
Oh, yeah, the drinks? AMAZING!
My Crème Brûlée? Some of the very best I’ve ever enjoyed! —-Canlis, Kirsten’s, Wildflower, Anthony’s, Palmer’s….just to name a few.

First time here, Jaden was very nice and attentive. The food was wonderful, and the drinks were flavorful. Everything was great, and I look forward to my next visit.
