I have finally found my forever mechanic’s at Combs! I take both of my vehicles there and I’m never disappointed in their work or the way I’m treated as a customer. Knowing I’m in safe hands is priceless! I now have my daughters taking their cars to Combs also. Try them and you will be a forever customer too! Combs Auto Service is indeed stellar! I had some slippage of the automatic transmission in my 2015 Honda Odyssey. I feared that I was in for an expensive transmission repair at a Honda dealer, but decided to have Combs check it first, as I have trusted them with my auto service for years. They explained that they are not a transmission repair shop, but I knew that they could probably diagnose the problem and advise me as to my best options, as they have done in the past with my other automobiles. They test drove the van, did their research and explained the likely cause of the problem. They were able to perform the necessary service and resolved
my problem, saving me time and quite a bit of money. I really appreciate their fine service. Combs operates like a family owned shop of the past, which is rare these days. A 5-star shop!

We have been taking all our vehicles to Combs for over 30 years. We have never been disappointed. Great service, never tried to sell us something we didn’t need. They checked the kids vehicles out before they hit the road to make sure they were safe. They have always been friendly even when I had to come with the grandkids and dog. Long time resident of Kirkwood and have been going to Combs for as long as I can remember. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, reliable, friendly. They’ve done everything from oil/transmission fluid changes to suspension work, tires, full exhaust and even installed both a custom steering wheel and my custom headlights! I had an unexpected tire blow out. Combs not only fit me in to put a new tire on, but also provided a same-day wheel alignment. As such, I did not have to make arrangements to come back another day to complete the necessary follow up. The quick, timely and professional service was greatly appreciated!

This crew is the greatest! You might wish they were open on weekends, BUT when you realize their business model includes paying their mechanics a fair rate (not on commission) and giving their staff a proper weekend allows them to be the most honest, hardworking team you'll ever meet...you'll see how its SO worth it to schedule your vehicles work with Combs.

Incredibly honest and kind people. I drive a Honda Accord and had my AC condenser break, I took into for them to fix and while it was in the shop they realized the part was on recall for frequent breakage and I could get it fixed for free at Honda. They called me and told me all of this saving me about $1000 or so. Mind you this is after I have taken it to another place to get looked at who wanted to fix it on the spot and never told me it was on recall. Incredibly honest and good people work here and I can't recommend it enough.

Combs Auto Service Staff and Family have always provided 5 star service. They will work with you on all opportunities you have with your vehicle in a timely manner. Great customer service, price quoted over the phone before I ever arrived was the price I paid to the cent, and very good pricing at that. Harrison is an amazing tech over there and did some great work on my car replacing my front driver side control arm, now its driving better than it has in a long while! I'll definitely be back here for car service in the future, it was a much better experience than I've had at any dealership or other shop!

I hit a curb and cut the sidewall on my driver's side front tire. Combs had 2 tires for me and were ready to do an alignment but upon inspection decided it was cosmetic. They checked my fluids and tires and didn't charge me. Great service!!!!

Our car had an issue on I44 & Big Bend. Red light appeared car overheating etc. Took car to them Steve was backed up because of weather. Had to rent car non avilable he called around and got us one .Steve had emplyee take us. Found out that we needed a thomastat they replaced and on futher reveiw the last place that did an oil change didnt have the oil filter on correctly. It was leaking . After they repaired car his wife came to get us at the rental car agency. They have my business from now on. We strongly recmmend them.

Anytime our cars need service work, combs is the only place I consider for all the years of work they have done for our family, for honest, trustworthy work at a fair price.. They're polite, professional, and they like Hockey haha

Dealership was pushing a scheme, charging an arm and a leg for front and rear breaks. Combs came in at half the price, then after I dropped the car off, they called saying front breaks have 1-2 years left on them, only the back breaks need to be adjusted.

Quote has moved from $2k with dealership and is down to around 500$ with Combs.
