I moved to this area from Raleigh were a trip to the license plate office was always a test of your patience. But I was pleasantly surprised when I went to the Morehead City NC license plate office. Great customer service and in and out in less than 10 minutes. Raleigh offices could learn a lot from Morehead City,

The last time I came here I stood outside in line due to Covid. I had paid my inspection fees and everything it did not take long at all. The staff are always upbeat and nice. I bought a plate to go on the front of my car that said "Carolina Girl". And it was in my favorite color Pink.

I was dreading going to change my plate because my experiences in PA were always awful, but when I walked in, I didn't have to wait and 3 workers were waiting to help me with a smile. I can't say enough about how happy that made me to get in and out in less than 10 minutes by such kind people.

I've never waited longer than 5-10 minutes maximum. The few times I've had to go here have usually gone extremely smooth. The women who work in here are very friendly & helpful, even in weird scenarios.

Had to deal with a tricky situation transferring titles with vehicles in probate. Both employees who helped us were knowledgeable and efficient, explained the extra step we needed take, and we got everything done the same day at minimal cost. We actually spent very little time in the License Plate Agency. So yeah - they were great 👍

It used to suck having to go here but my most recent visit was great. There was no line (usually the line is out the door) and the associate was extremely friendly and helpful! Such a pleasant surprise!

One of the best DMV experiences I've had in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am new to the state and wanted to ask questions regarding re-titling vehicles and getting new plates. I was able to get more done than I anticipated, and the only reason I didn't get everything completed was because I had items my wife needed to sign.
You do have to wait outside, socially distanced, but the line moved quick and I was done in minutes. I did go between opening and lunch on a Wednesday, which I'm sure helped speed things along.

This place is amazing. I had to apply for a new plate and renew my registration, it took about 3 minutes to complete the entire transaction and waited no more than 30 seconds in line to get to a window. Super fast service and makes you wonder why DMVs nationwide can’t be as efficient. Great job to the employees of this location!!!!

Hey say what ya want.. . I found these folks to to quick and efficient! The line was about 15 people deep- I only waited about 20 minutes! Keep up the good work!

They are friendly and personable. Even when busy, they are very efficient and willing to help the customer as much as they can. Great work ethic!

Definitely quicker and much friendlier than the one in Jacksonville! So glad we came here instead, it's definitely worth the slightly longer drive in comparison.

Best place to get your tags done. It was so quick. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. Employees we so nice and helpful. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
