Walmart Vision & Glasses

I’m not one to write reviews but I couldn’t leave here without one. I was here on vacation and I lost my glasses. I really can’t see anything without them and was having issues with my home eye dr office. All 3 people working came together (30 mins before they close) to help me. They ended up figuring things out for me and Gregory stayed late to do my glasses. I really couldn’t be more thankful for this team and their assistance during a stressful time! I will be back any time I’m near here. A truly wonderful, kind staff.

Sonya and Gregory where amazing today !! (6/14/2022) I went in to get new glasses and they were so kind and helpful! They really went above and beyond! They both stayed after hours to help me get my glasses because I had a late eye appointment for my prescription and they wanted to make sure I could take my new glasses home ! The glasses our great Gregory cut the lenses beautifuly and made sure the frames fit perfect on my face at the end ! I cant say enough about these 2 ! They made getting glasses fun and my husband and I left with smiles on our faces from there kindness ! Thank you guys I wish everywhere I went had people like you 2 !

Sonja was absolutely wonderful with helping us order our sons first pair of glasses. Our son is 5 and acted so well mannered with her and responded to her so well! She definitely went above and beyond with helping us! Thank you so much!

I got a prescription from my eye doctor and got my first set of glasses here!
The staff were professional and friendly! Something I always appreciate when shopping anywhere!
Frames were reasonably priced and SO many to choose from. My prescription glasses got in much earlier than I expected and I am so thankful for this staff for helping make my experience wonderful!

This was my first experience buying glasses. Cathy was so nice & helpful! She helped me pick the perfect glasses and when I picked them up she fully explained everything. Wonderful experience!

I've been ordering glasses from them for years now. Last summer I got a few pairs, and did the same this summer. Everything is pretty quick and the people are nice.

The Optometrist was very Friendly, Patient, Quick and knowledgeable!!
The Vision Center side, The associates were very Friendly and helpful, I'll definitely refer people there!

I don't normally write reviews, but to have the person leave such a bad one compaled me to. No should ever judge so hard. The visit was for a follow up on concern for my husband eye site. Everyone was every pleasant and knew what they were doing.

I've always been very pleased with the service here. I would suggest looking at the times when it's less busy, but I've never had a problem. The employees have always been very helpful and I've personally never had issues. I would recommend to my family members readily.

I went in there and the two lady’s when I went in were so nice they had me go through a door to talk to someone else about some questions I had and when I went back there I got the most hateful look from the lady that was working back there she had short blondish hair heavy set she had a terrible attitude I asked her what I needed to ask and she had no idea what she was talking about and kept on with the horrible attitude I had to just stop the questions and leave there was no need for the way she was acting whatsoever.

The people working there are totally ignorant. They refused to share with me the medical information I had just given them on my prescriptions including my intrapupillary distance which I want to confirm

They had to redo my wife's prescription when They got her measurements wrong

they measure it and it got it wrong in the past

I would not recommend going to this eyeglasses outfit

That is in contrast to their optometrist who has an excellent reputation

People I am giving this rating to the Place that “sells the glasses and contacts” AND NOT the Doctors or Optometrist Office. The Doctor Optometrist Office next to this retail store has a rating of 4...

When you read the ratings you see people are talking and writing about both businesses, when they are TWO separate businesses. You could be hurting either or helping a business by mistake.

This website I’m leaving this rating for is for the retail shop that sells the glasses and contacts. It is not the Doctors or optometrist office.

The retail store that sell the glassses in my opinion is Expensive and especially if you have insurance, yes that’s right especially if you have insurance. They still will try two charge you $300 to over a thousand dollars for glassses because they try and sell you above what is covered in your eye insurance policy. It is possible however to purchase a pair of glasses with or without insurance if you stay with the basics not adding on the extra stuff that they think you must have. Stick to the bare basics and you can get a pair of new glasses for $25 to a $150 from here.

Remember when you get the basic glasses you will not get the warranty. However if you get the ones they want to sell you you’ll get the warranty but the glasses now cost $300 to $900. I could replace my glasses two or three times a year and it would still be cheaper then buying the more expensive glasses. Well if you like all the extra stuff that’s your choice.

I think you would be better off just going in the store with your prescription at hand and paying cash and purchasing only what your insurance will cover and then get directly rebuirsed by your insurance company. But make sure you you get a signed detailed copy of your order / prescription receipt and a copy of your Doctors prescription.

Also remember most eye glass retail shops and eye doctors and optometrist places inside most of all the WALMARTS are “owned individually” and are not a chain and or part of Walmart... must shops are individuals owned.

Doesn't answer the phone to schedule basic appointments and can't give replacement frame for my glasses that are falling apart. So I can't get new ones and can't fix the ones that breaking
