The selection of unique and delicious foods, snacks and prepared meals is almost unbelievable. I don't think I have ever been disappointed. Try the chicken salad with dill, shrimp and grits ready for the oven, homemade chips and cheese straws. Try something new. I think you'll like it.

I didn’t get to buy anything this time but they had so many good looking things. I definitely want to go back at some point. Their mugs were only $6.

Our son introduced us to Friendly Market last year. It is such a nice store! Love the ready to go homemade meals. For my birthday this month, my son gave me “Carolina Morning” ground coffee, travel mug and a Friendly Market gift card. Now my husband and I are hooked! Lol! Who knew coffee could be so smooth and flavorful! Thank you ☺

My wife and I stopped by here after the North Carolina Seafood Festival and just loved the place! The staff was wonderful, kind, and generous! They had a great selection of produce and plants. The pumpkin patch was amazing too. Pumpkins and gourds of all sizes, coupled with fabulous mums and other nursery plants made for a great sight to see. We walked away with a few of those items ourselves. The inside of the shop is just as amazing with locally made foods/desserts and pre-made dinners from the clean kitchen in the back. Fantastic place to stop and see!

Always excellent! Best local place for awesome take home food. You can even eat som the the items on the large front porch. Every food item that I have purchased exceeded expectations and I come from a food background.

So it's been a while since I've been to this market, but OMG the food that they have, and the variety is unbelievable. I heard about the seafood pie, but it is no longer available....(hopefully not forever). I purchased the Seafood Cheesy Mac which was delicious, but I have a sweet tooth, and the Sally No Bark Bites are literally off the hook. If you're trying to watch your weight, do not buy these, lol. This place is fabulous, if you're looking for a nice homemade dinner that's inexpensive, or if you're looking for specialty coffees, or some thing healthy and organic, they seem to have everything. I love this place ! Very pleasant customer service, clean and very well organized.

Nice clean spacious market for local produce, pies, salads, sandwiches, pickles, wet/dry rubs, and tons of things whatever you find at a farmer's stand.

The owner reached out and explained the change in the recipe and that they had not has the opportunity to change the ingredients list which would explain why it was so unpleasant to me. She offered to send me a giftcard to make up for the situation which I really appreciate and also to give me a new one for free once they change the recipe back. I really appreciated their attentiveness and I do plan on giving them another chance.

I have loved Friendly Market in the past, but I recently bought a large tiramisu from them as I have in the past and it was very bitter. Then, I went in and they allowed me to exchange it, which I appreciated! But, I got home and took a bite and noticed a strange acidic taste and looked more closely and noticed that the top layer of the cake under the topping was very green and unpleasant. I was very disappointed as the tiramisu has been one of my favorites in the past.

The food from here is fresh and delicious. They're building a huge extension into the building right now, and I can't wait to see what it will be. The kitchen is open and you can't watch them prepare the food that they are selling. It's a bit expensive, but worth it. They also have local honey.

I crashed into there fence and they are friendly just like it says friendly market they were understanding and very nice and told me not to worry about it

I don't know anywhere else. You can get a fresh salad with grilled
chicken and under nine dollars!! Seriously impressed and I will be back.

Fiesta dip is to die for. One stop shop once you are at the beach for good pre made food. We brought our dog inside the store with us and they were very friendly about it. Incredibly friendly atmosphere and worth the drive to get their pre made meals from Emerald Isle.

What an awesome food shop!
I was on a mission for cinnamon rolls.
They were delicious & I would have purchased more things but for a long drive home.
The shepherds pie had sold out but I will buy that next time.
Grateful for a place like this. Thanks so much for the care.

I have to add that our family thanksgiving dinner was amazing & so was our christmas meal, prime rib & all the tasty sides. I wish I lived closer to enjoy this market every day. Happy new year to all & thanks so very much.
