On The Rocks

Fabulous! I tried On The Rocks when they first opened I guess it’s been five years ago. To be honest the quality and taste of the food was hit or miss over the first few years. I attended a wedding party dinner at On The Rocks last night… Well let me tell you they have got everything dialed in! The service was spectacular, the food was delicious! Everyone in our party of 16 absolutely enjoyed every single meal that was ordered! I highly recommend On The Rocks and will be dining here often! So convenient to Pine Knoll Shores and Atlantic Beach areas. Hats off to the owner and staff for great food and great service!!!!!!🤙🏽😃 update 9-24-2022 back again after a fabulous experience. This time takeout… called in on a Saturday night . very politely and fast service on the phone . Order was ready in 20min as promised. Food was delicious. 🤙🏽😃 On the Rocks has been constant so far! Check them out!!!

My wife and I tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time and found it to be excellent. She had the seafood pasta and she thought it was excellent. She even shared a few scallops and shrimp with me and they were cooked perfect.

I had the prime rib and it was fantastic, some of the best I’ve eaten in a restaurant.

Our waitress was super friendly and nice!
This was our first visit, but it will not be our last!!

Across the street from our hotel, we walked over on a Wednesday night and were seated immediately. Servers were friendly and the food was out super quick. Started off with the Dune of Nachos and cleaned the plate. The kids loved their cheeseburgers and the club sandwich was enormous! We had the Island Shrimp and Seared Tuna Steak, and we loved every bite. Highly recommend this place and we will be back!

I will said Woao!!! This place is great!!! We stumbled on this place and I love it!!! The seafood was supe fresh and tasty, our server, Susan, was amazing!!! We really enjoyed the overall experience and food and we will definitely come back when we are in the area. Please don't missed their Three C's Chowder, it was delicious, one of the best chowders I have ever tried in my life!!!! Amazing!!! We tried the steam crab legs, ahi tuna, and for dessert, please try the Tidal Wave Funnel Cake (in the picture), I not a fan of sweets, I took a bite and couldn't stop eating it. It was like what did just happened? Super good!!! If you are in the area please don't miss it! Amazing experience!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

I strongly recommend the crab cheese appetizer!! (See picture), it was DELECTABLE! The fried shrimps were so good as well. Also, they had live music! On The Rocks is a must!

This place is Amazing. Came in on a Wednesday night around 5:45. The service was great, the atmosphere was family friendly, and the food. Well the food is amazing! Included in my review are pictures of our two appetizers. We had the scallops, pasta with cream sauce (kids) and clam strips for main courses. Phenomenal!
My family and I will definitely revisit this wonderful restaurant.

The rocks had the feel of a neighborhood restaurant. Didn't seem to be geared to adjust the tourist you know taking money one time and never see you again. The service was great 15 minute wait for a table on a Saturday night. Appetizer of fried oysters ,it is an "R" month!!! Main dish was lemon snapper excellent.
They will definitely get a visit next time through

Nice place. Had to wait for 35 minutes for available table..but it worth it! Staff was polite and friendly, especially our waitress Jayed. Huge thanks from my all family for Extra) taking care of us. We've traveled and been first time at this place, and Jayed just made our day with her smile, treats and hot food! Portions was huge 😍, even for kids. Everything was delicious 😋. Thank you. I would recommended it to my friends.

Went here with my love and her parents for one last meal before going back to Winston-salem. It didn't disappoint in the slightest. Our waitress, Lisa, was a peach and was always there to make sure we were taken care of. In fact, other members of the service staff helped us when it started getting busy. 11 outta 10 customer service by far. I got the mac daddy burger with fries and it was amazing. Any burger with fried globs of mac and queso on it is a win in my eyes even though my arteries would disagree. Also got the fried pickle fries and they were bomb. Would recommend to anyone and would come back for sure.

Great local joint, w live music (nice voice and song choice) on a Wed evening. Nice space, and the waitrons were super great. Shrimp and grits was excellent, as were the broiled shell-on shrimps. I don't usually order shrimps because I don't live so near a shrimp spot - these were great in both forms.

Great spot at the beach. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was tasty. Off season it was still busy but didn’t have to wait for a table.

Jordan was our waiter and he was fantastic. He was very friendly and attentive! We started with a house Chardonnay and a Hazy IPA. A little later I added a Jameson Pickle Back! My wife ordered the Shrimp platter grilled. The plate was full of shrimp 🦐! I had the fried flounder platter. We both got baked potatoes, which were delicious! I got 2 nice fried fillets and gobbled the first one up because it was so fresh and good! I took my time on the second one! My wife had plenty of shrimp to take home. We were seated on the floor section. It is a very big area and it felt empty. We will come back and get a table more cozy. I will also take pictures of our meals.

Loved the food and the music! Had to get a pic with this guy, Barry Charlton. He reminds me of my brother so much!

It was a fun place to eat. I got the 26.00 pasta .but server was right. It was great. Fried pickles and the calamari were great too.

The BEST place for fresh sea food! 😋 I had the lemon butter red snapper and it was so delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And the staff was very friendly and checked on our drinks and made sure that everything was good! The BEST restaurant on the crystal coast! 💯

This place is amazing. Who ever the cook is they should give him or her a merit raise once or twice a year to keep him on. Steak was perfected so much that it needed no sauce, loaded nachos exquisite and the shrimp and fish so delicious. The waiters served with excellent attitudes Avia was with us and made sure we had what was needed at all times. My sister has seafood allergies and everything was clean. We are from Rocky Mount and we are telling everyone of our experience. Thank you guys so much. We will be back

Walked here from Hotel Alice. One block away from the beach. Live music!! Seafood was cooked just right. Huge portions, great service, and a nice beach vibe to the place. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re in town!

Holy Hannah! This was so freaking awesome 😍 2lbs of crab legs! Fantastic service, clean dining room and ample parking for a busy seaside restaurant during the weekend. No waiting, no masks required, great food and impeccable staff. Well done, Atlantic Beach!
